1. Got two of them... rating system won't work in bridge anymore, and Lightroom thinks most of my raw photos are corrupt.

   What in the hell is going on. My last two photoshoots have been problematic... Photos being labeled as wrong format or corrupt or damaged, and on top of this, the rating system in Bridge no longer works. Absolutely fantastic. Already tried to diagnose both, no fixes worked. The files are not damaged. I've purged the cache, reset the settings, nothing. what in the hell.

2. preview

   Windows 10 Pro 22H2, Bridge 13.0. In Full screen preview mode (Spacebar), if I switch app while full screen preview is still on when I return to the preview and try to exit preview mode (pressing ESC or SPACEBAR) nothing happens, to close the Full-screen Preview I need to close Bridge and reopen it.

4. Can't reliably batch-embed metadata in Bridge anymore (using Bridge 2023)

   Often when applying a preset metadata template or nearly always when individually selecting a series of images in Bridge to apply captions, descriptions, locations, keywords, etc. Bridge now tries to generate new thumbnails as soon as I start typing in a field (or pasting into a field) and will not allow me to embed or add new information into any fields if I have a larger number of raw-format files in a folder.

   For example, I'll have a set of 500+ DNG format photos from an event and after waiting for Bridge to generate the thumbnails, I'll apply my standard photo credit template. At least half the time, after waiting for Bridge to "write" the data to the file, my templated metadata information will not actually appear in my files. It usually requires several attempts (and watching Bridge tell me it's "writing" to the files each time) before the metadata finally shows up in the fields. Then I'll batch-select, for example, 15 images of a particular speaker at the event and select a field and start to write a caption, description, keyword or whatever, Bridge immediately freaks out and keeps trying to generate new thumbnails or "write" to the files as soon as my first keystroke lands in a metadata field and even if I paste a complete caption, description, keywords or whatever from elsewhere into fields in Bridge, I'll see the little status indicator at the bottom saying it's "writing" to the files (and watch the thumbnails flicker wildly and jump around) and as soon as it's "done" (or when the spinning beachball finally stops) the metadata I've just added vanishes from ALL the fields where it's been added. Repeating the process gets the same results.

   And another new quirk with Bridge 2023 is that often random metadata fields from other files from other projects and project folders (not from a metadata template) will be persistent in the Bridge Cache and appear to be embedded in the metadata fields within brand new images in folders that I've just opened for the first time after it's generated thumbnails for the first time. This doesn't happen with folders of JPEGs or with folders with only a dozen or so camera raw files. But if I have more than 50 or so DNG images in a folder, the new version of Bridge is useless for metadata entry.

   I've tried deleting the Bridge cache, compacting it, clearing all my machine cache files. Nothing works to resolve this problem which only appeared in Bridge 2023. I'm having this issue on several different computers with different user accounts, so it's not specific to any machine or user.

   I've started to look at products like Photo Mechanic for metadata entry now because Bridge 2023 has completely broken my workflow for metadata entry.

5. Using tab key to move down to next metadata field sometime moves the cursor UP to previous field

   Starting with Bridge 2023, using the tab key to move to the next metadata field down no longer works properly. Instead of moving down to the next field, pressing the tab key will randomly move UP to the previous field instead. This is happening on several computers with different user accounts, so I know it's not machine specific or user error.

6. Collections Panel does not update on ExtendScript app.createCollection("new collection")

   app.createCollection("new collection");

   Prior to Bridge v13 (2023), this ExtendScript command would create a new collection and the Collections Panel would update to show the new collection.

   Now, the command creates a collection, but the Collections Panel does not update. The new collection only becomes visible after either toggling the Bridge UI to a different Workspace then back, or closing and re-opening the Collections Panel. Please restore the Collections Panel update so new collections are visible when they are created via script, or advise on an ExtendScript workaround to refresh the collections panel after creating a new collection in our script. Thank you!

   Tested in Bridge 13.0.3.693 on both macOS 12.6.3 and Windows 11

8. The search/find dialog does not resolve to the first editable field.

   The find dialog used to resolve to the first editable text field. It doesn't now. You have to click on the field (or press tab a few times) to edit the search string. This is very annoying and a productivity speed-bump. I use bridge to quickly find items by using CMD+F, typing the string, then pressing enter. It was very helpful.

   The crop tool always constrains to image, even when the checkbox is unchecked. What is the point of the checkbox?

10. eingeblendete Metadaten bleiben immer hängen und sichtbar, sogar in anderen Programmen

    Bei der Miniaturansicht von Bridge werden nach einer gewissen Zeit immer die Bilddaten eingeblendet und sie „brennen“ sich ein. Diese Bilddaten bleiben auch in anderen Programmen sichtbar, z.B. Word u.a. Erst bei schließen von Bridge und neuem Öffnen, sind die Bilddaten-Felder wieder weg. Bereits schon vor einiger Zeit gemeldet.

11. Image information (Title, date created etc) Interfering with PS and other applications (Appears in other applications)

    I need to close Bridge in order for this problem to stop. Rectangular boxes with file info showing up in other applications. (Image title, date created etc. Metadata generally, no way to close them other than close bridge entirely)

    I use windows 10

12. Adobe Bridge 2023 Favorite Aliases

    In previous versions of Bridge I could add an alias to the Favorites Panel and the thumbnails would be displayed for the folder linked to that alias. Now, clicking any of my aliases in the Favorites panel does nothing!!!

13. GPS:Altitude does not propagate

    If I assign GPS Lat, Long, and Altitude to a RAW file (Canon CR3) in Bridge v13.0.3.693 and then process it in PS 2023, the resultant JPG file has no altitude. The Lat & Lon values propagate to the JPG but not the altitude

14. Bridge doesn't work for me.

    When I put labels on, I have to wait at least 5 minutes before they appear, both ratings and labels. It often crashes and many times it shows me the next photo the same as the previous one, even though they are different photos, or it puts the previous blurred photo as the background and the next one on top. To get out of the full-screen image, I have to use command W, otherwise Bridge remains and I can't use the computer.

15. 在使用Br导出相机照片时，导出预览画面显示的缩略图异常

    这个问题出现在某一次Br更新之后，具体是哪个版本开始的目前已经不知道了

    自从这个版本之后，现在每次使用Br导出相机照片都会发现这个现象，但最后导出结果的照片是没有问题的，不知道是什么地方出了问题

18. Mouse-Over file information windows stays on window after moving mouse away

    Mouse-Over file information windows stays on window after moving mouse away:

    When you move the mouse cursor over a image thumbnail in Bridge, a information windows pops up, in some cases they WILL stay even if the mouse has been moved away.

    Once they stay, they will also stay on top if you navigate around in bridge, even if you change the window to another application, the window stays on top, which is not only annoying, but seriously hindering work.

19. The "File info" panel enourmously enlarges its fields "Description", "Keywords, "Document title" if you type there some words.

    Bridge: 13.0.2.636

    1. Open any folder with images.
    2. Call "File info" for any image
    3. Fill in mentioned fields
    4. Click "Ok"
    5. Open "File info" for same file
    6. Enjoy.

    I am trying to preview the 4k videos shot from an iPhone 12pro. Seems like bridge is unable to do it.
