  1. New Adobe Bridge 2019 freezes

    Working in the new Adobe Bridge 2019 today. After working a while, the screen freezes - I can move cursor, etc. however cannot open a file, make a selection, quite Bridge, etc. Only option is to Force Quite Bridge on Mac (current OS) and open again. Open the apps, make a selection and then freezes again. Done this multiple times with same affect. Can no longer continue my work. Was working OK when first installed, however no longer.

  2. Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has disabled GPU rendering which uses the graphics hardware.

    While in Windows Explorer, right click on an image or folder -> Open with Bridge

    Opens Bridge, shows the below message, doesn't respond and closes shortly after.
    "Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has disabled GPU rendering which uses the graphics hardware. Please restart Bridge for an optimal experience.
    Check the manufacturer's website for the latest software."

    Happenes on PC with Windows 10 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 650
    and new Surface Pro 6 with Windows 10 and Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620
    Drivers are checked and up to date.

  3. Bridge crashes while starting viewing a collection

    I can not open Bridge anymore. Whenever Bridge starts while a collection is being displayed, it will freeze and crash right away. Since I closed Bridge last time after working on a collection it will automatically start viewing thiscollection. That is a problem. It is now impossible to start Bridge anymore since it will freeze and crash immediately.

    The collection contains about 400 pictures. No way to start the app anymore without a work around (right click on a picture in explorer "open in Bridge").

    Please fix asap.

  4. Bridge freeze and crash on Batch Rename

    Version 9.0.3.279, Win 10
    Batch rename causes freeze.
    Forced quit required.
    Repeatable - happens EVERY time.
    Uninstall/reinstall does not resolve.

    Other bugs in current version
    - cannot select first image in a stack when stack is collapsed.
    - not all subfolders visible (view set to show folders/hidden/reject files) some folders are visible, sometimes. Not dependent on number of images/folders (ie. not excessive quantity of files) All become visible when "show items from subfolders" checked, though obviously also showing everything *in* folders also!.

  5. Bridge Crashing or Becomes Unresponsive

    I posted a while back when the new 2018/2019 Bridge came out in November. It was full of bugs for us from slow loading to crashing, etc. Now although the load seems to have picked up speed, I'm getting random crashes. We avoid Lightroom as it doesn't fit our Journalistic workflow, but Bridge isn't helping matters when we are trying to sort, tag and rename and it locks up.

    Version: 9.0.3.279 x64
    *Cache is compacted and purged daily
    Lenovo i5 6th gen desktop
    16G Ram
    1TB drive (always 60-80% free space)

    We update the Ap every chance we get in…

  6. crashes when deleting rejected items

    Adobe Bridge version 9.1.0.338 repeatedly crashes when I instruct it to delete all the items displayed. Specifically each JPEG is stacked with the corresponding RAW (using a script), I then mark some as 'Rejected', I then 'Show Rejected Items Only', select all of these (via control A), then right click/delete (to Recycle Bin). The crash occurs during the progress bar of the delete operation. On re-launching Bridge I need to relocate the working folder, however I find that Bridge had managed to successfully delete all of the marked items.
    I have returned the crash reports to Adobe.

    This is a feature that helps you auto detect a corrupt GPU and turns on software rendering for quality preview and thumbnail.
    If you correct issues with GPU, this setting will automatically turn off.

  11. White message box when starting Bridge

    After updating to Bridge 2019 the white message box started appearing when launching Bridge (attached screenshot). It appears for several seconds and I have to wait eveytime for it to go. If I close the message Bridge closes entirely.

  12. Bridge 2019 Crashes after Space Bar Preview (macOS Mojave)

    Bridge CC 2019 Crashes on Full Screen "Space Bar" preview on macOS Mojave. All system programs shut down and I am sent back to the log in window. No crash report is generated.

  14. Writing metadata to files on a Windows share (XMP interface or star ratings/labels) freezes Bridge on Mac OS

    Setup: Windows Server 2012r2 shares, using Bridge with MacOS Mojave (latest versions of each).

    Writing any type of metadata to some file types on our Windows Server 2012r2 shares causes Bridge to freeze. Unfortunately .indd files are one example and the labelling of them is central to our workflow. It starts responding again eventually but each write takes around a minute (and this is over a fast network - mixed 10gbe/1gbe, reads/writes of huge video files get thrown around on here with no problem).

    It also freezes InDesign (though not Photoshop, Chrome, etc.) and won't all you to browse other…

  15. GPU problem - GTX 1050ti

    Adobe Bridge says there is a problem with the GPU. I have the latets Adobe Bridge, the latest Nvidia drivers and i get this error. (see screenshots).

    Whats is the problem, is this okay? I think it works great but it is a bug in the adobe software.

  17. Can not delete files!

    I just reviewed a photo shoot of 1000+ and wanted to delete about 500 of them. Bridge freezes everytime I try to delete them all at once.

    Tried it several times now, does not work. This has never happened to me before the 2019 version came out!

  20. Can't click in Bridge

    In Bridge it is not exactly frozen but I can not click in the application at all with results. I can use a drop down but can not click in the application. This is the third time in a row. Force quit again.

    Request you to update to the latest version of Abobe Bridge 9.0.1.216

    In case the issue persists, please let me know the detailed workflow which is causing Bridge to freeze along with OS details.
