1. Constant Crashing, Bridge 14.1.2.300

   I now can't do anything with Adobe Bridge without it crashing. For example, just. opening the app and clicking on a favorites folder. I have reinstalled twice, once keeping preferences and once without. I'm running iOS 14.6.1

   Bridge is unusable and this is very frustrating.

2. Bridge 2025 - painfully slow and frequently "not responding"

   In Bridge 2025 and in 2024 as well since a recent update, Bridge is painfully slow - especially on my external drives - and takes forever to display thumbnails, load full resolution previews, and even just change folders. It frequently reports as "not responding" and uses up excessive system resources. Scrolling with the mouse wheel also slowed down considerably with the 2025 update. I'm paying to use this software and it doesn't appear that Adobe performed the proper QA/QC before releasing recent updates. Please fix ASAP.

3. Bridge crashes on startup, v14.0.0.102

   Anyone have any ideas of how to fix Adobe Bridge? It crashes every time I open it, after I get a message that says "Error: ParseValue unexpected char".

   I've uninstalled and reinstalled, shut down and restarted, removed all preferences and any previous Bridge files, used older versions of the software, and tried everything in this post: "Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues".

   There's nothing about that error message online.

4. Photo Downloader Crashes

   I'm running macOS 12.7.6. Ever since I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 18, Adobe's Bridge Photo Downloader will crash unless I am extremely quick on starting the "get media" process. It means that I do not have time to cannot select files or options.
   Version of Adobe Bridge: 14 and 15
   Operation System: macOS 12.7.6. on iMac and iOS 18.0.1 on my iPhone 14 Pro
   Steps to reproduce: Launch Bridge, Select "Get Photos from Camera", connect iPhone to USB cable and wake device, chose "get photos from" to be my iPhone, watch thumbnails of photos get loaded into the selection pane
   Expected Result: be able to select files to upload
   Actual Result photo downloader quits unexpectedly (i.e. crashes)

5. Photo Downloader crashes when a CFExpress card is selected.

   Photo Downloader crashes when selecting a ProGrade CFExpress card reader connected to my Mac Stuidio.
   And, cannot load pics even in Photoshop (CFExpress drive appears momentarily and then becomes invisible).

7. kdrive

   Hello,
   I use a cloud program called Kdrive, from Infomaniak swiss company, and I have a problem, when I try to open the folder Kdrive, Bridge crashes, when I have no problem with other folders on my MacBook. I sent a message to Infomaniak Kdrive developers, and they invite me to allow access for their application, and all is good. Can you help me for this ?

8. Bridge v.14.0.0 crashes when open

   I have tried installing and reinstalling the latest Bridge v14.0.0 several times, but as soon as I run it and try selecting any item (or do anything at all), Bridge will crash, and often causes a full system crash. I tried updating my Nvidia driver, but it hasn't made any difference. I am unable to use this version of Bridge. I have used other versions for years without anything like this happening ever before. On top of that Premiere just crashed, again, so I don't know whats going on recently, but I am not very happy about it.

   The first time opening 6 RAW file into Camera row it works as expected. However when i open up another set of files Bridge crashes.

10. Bridge version 13.0.2.636 crashing consistently

    A few days ago, I updated my Bridge version to the new version 13.0.2.636.
    After that I have constant crashes in bridge. It easy to reproduce:

    • Start Bridge
    • (Go to a folder with some images)
    • Select one image (for test purposes I select an JPEG image)
    • Hit SPACE to get full screen view
    • Hit SPACE again to get out of full screen view
    • Wait a couple of seconds: ---> CRASH
    • (Or click another image, see below)

    This seems to be 100% repeatable and renders Bridge unusable.
    This is somewhat of a crisis as I rely on Bridge for everyday work.

    Several log files can be provided:

    • CRASH-REPORT-after-full clean.txt (XML)
    • Log Collector: AdobeLogs20230116015900_363-win-GS.zxp
    • Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log

    Additional details:

    When uninstalling version 13.0.2.636 and then installing version 12.0.3 everything seems to work OK!

    I have submitted a few crash reports (using the dialog that pops up when Bridge crashes. I copy of the crash report can be supplied (an XML file generated by AdobeCrashReporter.

    Further details:

    When I experienced this the first time it was immediately after an update to version 13.0.2.636. I believe I was running version 13.0.1 before the update to 13.0.2.636. Everything seemed to work OK before the update to 13.0.2.636 (I got to test the new tabs etc.).

    When I first noticed the crashes with 13.0.2.636, it behaved slightly differently. After hitting space the second time I had to initiate some kind of action (like using the right arrow key or clicking somewhere on the Bridge user interface) before I experienced a crash (or maybe I did not waited long enough).

    I then uninstalled version for the first time and tried installing all versions (one at a time) from 12.0.3 (worked OK) and up (13.0, 13.0.1 and again 13.0.2, all now crashing).

    I then uninstalled all Adobe Cloud apps using the "Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool" (which BTW seems to leave a lot of stuff left in "C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe"?). I then reinstalled Photoshop and the latest version of Bridge (13.0.2.636). This did not solve the problem. Bridge still crashed as described above. I then again uninstalled version 13.0.2.636 and installed version 12.0.3 and Bridge again seems to work OK.

12. Bridge hangs and crashes upon launch when accessing a previously accessed folder

    This happens intermittently, when launching Bridge it attempts to open the previously folder viewed as normal, but freezes and crashes. If I rename the folder in question externally, everything works fine again.

14. Crash when merging HDR

    Bridge 13.0.3.693 crashes when merging multiple files to HDR. This always happens after successfully merging several DNGs (maybe 10-20). The first DNGs merge just fine, but then Bridge freezes and crashes when I merge another set of brackets. After restarting Bridge I can continue merging several bracketsm but the crash always happens again after a while. The crash depends neither on the number of images in the brackets, nor on the merging settings. I have been experiencing this problem for half a year at least.

17. Batch Rename - Programme Crash Bridge Version 13.0.2.636 - Microsoft

    I want to change the file names of several selected files with the "Batch Rename" tool.

    Unfortunately, after selecting the command "Menu: Tools - Batch Rename", the programme shows no reaction (the usual editing window does not open) and then immediately closes completely.

20. The Operation Could Not Be Completed (13.0.2)

    Bridge 13.0.2 crashes on Mac Silicon (Mac Mini M2 Pro), or when run under Rosetta (Mac Mini M2 Pro). Bridge is unusable. Is this intentional?
