  1. Adobe Bridge Crash on Duplicate Folder Name Creation

    Product: Adobe Bridge
    Version: 15.0.3.525
    OS: Windows 11 (build 26100.3323)
    Crash Type: Application Hang (AppHangXProcB1)

    Issue: When attempting to create a new folder with a name that already exists in the current directory, Adobe Bridge crashes instead of returning a warning or error.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Open any folder in Bridge.
    2) Right-click and choose "New Folder".
    3) Enter a folder name that already exists in the same location.
    4) Press Enter.

    Expected Result: Bridge should display an error like "A folder with that name already exists."

    Actual Result: The application freezes and becomes unresponsive upon confirming the folder…

    New update is Completely Unusable. Locks up & will not respond to mouse clicks or keyboard. Does not even respond to a click on the X close button or Alt+F4. Gives no indication of a problem nor any info about it. Does not even have the good grace to crash. I've found it necessary to use task manager to close it. Sometimes blocks switching to another app.
    Windows 11, 32GB RAM. Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics

  4. Bridge locks up when deleting a JPG through the app

    I am currently running Bridge 15.0.2 on a Windows 11 PC. Every time I try to delete a photo through the application it locks up and does not response to anything else. I have to go to Windows Task Manager to kill the Bridge process. Occasionally, if I let it sit long enough I get an Error pop-up. However, the box is too small and does not have a scroll option to move down to the Submit / cancel button.

  5. Bridge is effectively unusuable when not online on high performance laptop

    Version 15.0.2.432 (but the issue is present in prior versions)

    I am using a very high-end machine, and Bridge performs well when connected to the internet. However, I am often offline for days at a time in the field while taking and processing photos. Bridge is effectively unusable when there is no internet connection. Once I'm back online, the issue disappears. To be specific, the issue involves extreme lag when adding/removing labels, ratings, navigating thumbnails, viewing "high quality preview" and opening images into Camera Raw.   6. Bridge 2025 - painfully slow and frequently "not responding"

    In Bridge 2025 and in 2024 as well since a recent update, Bridge is painfully slow - especially on my external drives - and takes forever to display thumbnails, load full resolution previews, and even just change folders. It frequently reports as "not responding" and uses up excessive system resources. Scrolling with the mouse wheel also slowed down considerably with the 2025 update. I'm paying to use this software and it doesn't appear that Adobe performed the proper QA/QC before releasing recent updates. Please fix ASAP.

  7. AV1 Encoded Videos Crash Bridge When Selected

    Adobe Bridge is crashing when selecting any AV1 encoded video files.
    Thumbnails are not generated either.

  8. Constant Crashing, Bridge 14.1.2.300

    I now can't do anything with Adobe Bridge without it crashing. For example, just. opening the app and clicking on a favorites folder. I have reinstalled twice, once keeping preferences and once without. I'm running iOS 14.6.1

    Bridge is unusable and this is very frustrating.

  9. Bridge crashes on startup, v14.0.0.102

    Anyone have any ideas of how to fix Adobe Bridge? It crashes every time I open it, after I get a message that says "Error: ParseValue unexpected char".

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled, shut down and restarted, removed all preferences and any previous Bridge files, used older versions of the software, and tried everything in this post: "Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues".

    There's nothing about that error message online.

  10. Photo Downloader Crashes

    I'm running macOS 12.7.6. Ever since I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 18, Adobe's Bridge Photo Downloader will crash unless I am extremely quick on starting the "get media" process. It means that I do not have time to cannot select files or options.
    Version of Adobe Bridge: 14 and 15
    Operation System: macOS 12.7.6. on iMac and iOS 18.0.1 on my iPhone 14 Pro

  11. Photo Downloader crashes when a CFExpress card is selected.

    Photo Downloader crashes when selecting a ProGrade CFExpress card reader connected to my Mac Stuidio.
    And, cannot load pics even in Photoshop (CFExpress drive appears momentarily and then becomes invisible).

    Hello,
    I use a cloud program called Kdrive, from Infomaniak swiss company, and I have a problem, when I try to open the folder Kdrive, Bridge crashes, when I have no problem with other folders on my MacBook. I sent a message to Infomaniak Kdrive developers, and they invite me to allow access for their application, and all is good. Can you help me for this ?

  14. Bridge v.14.0.0 crashes when open

    I have tried installing and reinstalling the latest Bridge v14.0.0 several times, but as soon as I run it and try selecting any item (or do anything at all), Bridge will crash, and often causes a full system crash. I tried updating my Nvidia driver, but it hasn't made any difference. I am unable to use this version of Bridge. I have used other versions for years without anything like this happening ever before. On top of that Premiere just crashed, again, so I don't know whats going on recently, but I am not very happy about it.

  15. Bridge crash when opening files into Camera Raw

    The first time opening 6 RAW file into Camera row it works as expected. However when i open up another set of files Bridge crashes.

  16. Bridge version 13.0.2.636 crashing consistently

    A few days ago, I updated my Bridge version to the new version 13.0.2.636.
    After that I have constant crashes in bridge. It easy to reproduce:

    • Start Bridge
    • (Go to a folder with some images)
    • Select one image (for test purposes I select an JPEG image)
    • Hit SPACE to get full screen view
    • Hit SPACE again to get out of full screen view
    • Wait a couple of seconds: ---> CRASH
    • (Or click another image, see below)

    This seems to be 100% repeatable and renders Bridge unusable.
    This is somewhat of a crisis as I rely on Bridge for everyday work.

    Bridge 14.0.1.137 crashes my Windows 11 computer BSOD when trying to AI Enhance more than one image at a time. This has happened several times now.
    I've not tried doing this on previous versions, so don't know if it's a new problem or not...

  18. Bridge hangs and crashes upon launch when accessing a previously accessed folder

    This happens intermittently, when launching Bridge it attempts to open the previously folder viewed as normal, but freezes and crashes. If I rename the folder in question externally, everything works fine again.

  20. Crash when merging HDR

    Bridge 13.0.3.693 crashes when merging multiple files to HDR. This always happens after successfully merging several DNGs (maybe 10-20). The first DNGs merge just fine, but then Bridge freezes and crashes when I merge another set of brackets. After restarting Bridge I can continue merging several bracketsm but the crash always happens again after a while. The crash depends neither on the number of images in the brackets, nor on the merging settings. I have been experiencing this problem for half a year at least.
