It takes so long for the caching to take place. Then to drag clips into premiere is a nightmare of time. Windows explorer does it at a fraction of the time. Please stop all these gimmick features and just give fast rock steady software that works. Thanks!2 votes
could you please explain how can I search pictures with one (or more) keyword on some different folders and drives? At the moment looks like I can use filter only inside one folder.
When moving through a batch of images in ACR I really, really, really, want to be able to select an aspect ratio and have it stick until I change it instead of having to repeatedly change it from the undesired default to the one I actually want EVERY SINGLE IMAGE. Before I could do this; now I can't. I already know how to click a mouse; now I just want get some work done.
Thank you.4 votes
Sometimes, I need to write the description of images in their metadata, and the zoom inside the preview panel is not sufficient. I'd love to be able to invoque the file info panel, yet be able to commit changes, and go the next image, and have its metadata populate the FI panel.2 votes
The AM/PM time of the export result is incorrect. Where I am (Eastern) it is after noon, but the time shows as AM. Finder's time and the metadata shown in Bridge is correct, however. Your choices of the issue does not list export, so I used Batch Rename.1 vote
Change for the better is always welcome. However If something is working really well why change it? The old addage if it aint broke dont fix it applies. Sure improve performance and address individual tool issues. The need to drive it towards lightroom model - what is the point? I dont use lightroom for the same reasons I'm not enjoying the new CR. Way to complicated ergonomically compared to the old CR and way to fussy in its provision of that complication. Just Sayin3 votes
The new user interface is not as convenient or easy to use as the previous version. The delete icon is hard to see. Before, after making a crop, choosing the hand icon gave a full screen view of the crop. Now, apparently the user must click done, return to Bridge and then re-enter Camera Raw. Sometimes when trying to change to a different tool, the application will not allow the change; for example, switching from the hand tool to the crop tool.12 votes
When batch rename/rename is used it would be a welcome feature request to have an option to make the file extension capitalized, lowercase or change it entirely - this feature could find a spot in Preferences.
I often use Batch Rename and the one thing that I don't like is when I use List View or open up File Explorer some filenames have an uppercase extension and some have a lowercase extension ... but I'm not going to spend the time manually changing the extensions to match.1 vote
my company uses bridge and we sync our projects across onedrive. we have avoided stacking because it's not shared across all users, so we have used folders. We use linking (place linked) in photoshop and put our source images in a folder called "links" under the project folder. However, when duplicating templates to reference the file names, it doesn't work since, from what i can tell, it wants to find that specific location rather than treating the project directory as root (which, i believe would make linking better with photoshop and solve a lot of issues we have with linking). the solution that works with this issue is to have the source files in the same directory. using stacks acts as a virtual folder to keep things organized and when duplicating templates it's able to find the links and update them. however, there should be a settings file or something that would be synced that will tell bridge on other machines what should be stacked. this way, it's uniform across all users.
hope this makes sense

Video files deleted while open in a media player (VLC in my case) are showing as deleted in bridge but are not actually being removed from the physical folder on the hard drive. When I do a batch rename they reappear in Bridge as unnamed files.1 vote
Please, include recognition of CFExpress cards for Get Photos from Camera. I am using the these days well spread CFEpxress card for Canon R5 but can't import those in Adobe Bridge (11.0.2). I think readers and these memory cards will be used more and more.
I would like to see an improved naming option in Adobe Bridge. I have two cameras and would like to incorporate a naming system to identify the two types of cameras that i have when selecting metadata and then choose Camera Model as a naming convention. You have other options except that. I like the option of using dates etc into one folder. Now that I have two cameras, i would like to get that naming option incorporated to the file.1 vote
It would be great to be able, with a simple right click, to turn into a zip-file one or many files without quitting Adobe Bridge.
Other nice thing is to have on the export tab options an option to compress files as well.1 vote
I've heard a few time that a preview of .abr brushes, for photoshop, at the desktop level would be useful to users.
On windows (only), there's abr viewer https://abrviewer.fr.uptodown.com/windows
inside photoshop, there's brusherator by sergey kritskyi https://gumroad.com/kritskiy#iLmZz
I suppose a simple preview, not just the icon, would help users, and having this in Bridge would be logical :)5 votes
When I take a photo into Photoshop from Bridge and edit the file and then export it for web (Legacy) most of the metadata is lost. What I particularly want to keep is the date & time photo taken and the location.1 vote
Hi there! Just upgraded to 4k screens - super exciting! Then launched lightroom and other adobe software - they look great!
But somehow I feel Bridge was left out and did not get the beautiful 150%ish scaling factor... I hope it can be added soon because I think it would add a lot of value to many many everyday adobe users!
Here are some screenshots "michaelt6058876" posted on the community page: https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge/scaling-not-usable-in-windows-whats-going-on-here/m-p/11528769?page=13 votes
Please return to a version similar to the previous one.
I cannot stand scrolling up and down the right hand side bar.
I do not like Lightroom for this very reason.
At least make the panels customisable so I can put then where I want.10 votes
If I use Bridge I want to dubble-click on images and open them up in Photoshop.
Ore in RAW if they are new.
This do not longer work after the latest updates.
I cannot find any way in your site so solve this unwanted problem.
Why have Bridge if the pic doesent open???1 vote
