  1. Add support for 3D files

    With the support of SBSAR , it should also be useful to support 3D files format like glTF, glb, or USD as well as ASD ...
    Either for Thumbnail generation but also for preview if possible.
    It should be useful too to extract some metadata like shader, appearance or scene info in metadata panel...

  3. Reset workspace consistency

    Bridge should work the same as the other Adobe apps when resetting the workspace. Right now if you have multiple folder windows open Bridge closes them all except the active window when resetting the workspace. This is a real pain if there are multiple windows open, which must be reopened when all the reset should do is put the palettes back where they belong.

  4. RAW & JPEG Sorting

    Adobe Bridge should include an automatic RAW & JPEG sorting feature, allowing users to group, separate, or filter files with the same name but different formats. A dedicated toggle should enable users to view RAW+JPEG as a single entry or split them into separate folders automatically. This would streamline workflow for photographers, reducing manual file management and improving efficiency.

  5. Improve thumbnail generation speed

    I’ve always noticed the slow thumbnail generation speed, but right now I compared it to Blender’s default EXR thumbnail generation speed. Of course, you guys are creating higher-quality thumbnails and storing them on disk for me, but Blender takes seconds compared to minutes—a lot of minutes for 200 EXR files at 50 MB each.

    Allow users to designate the location where collections are stored. This could have multiple uses. A user who stores photos on a portable hard drive could store the collections on that drive. Bridge on any computer could make the collections automatically available by locating the collections directory on that drive. An alternative would be to designate a cloud location for the collections. This could work for all Bridge preferences. I emphasize collections because they are an extremely important tool for organizing photos.

  7. Default Start Folder - without scripting.

    I always want Bridge to start in the same, default folder. There is no setting for this. Scripting is not really a good solution, a preferences setting would be better.

    I know about selecting the folder before ending, but do not ALWAYS remember to do that. Why is such a simple, standard thing missing??

  8. Backup of Manual Sorts in Collections

    It is absurdly easy to fowl up a Manual Sort order. There should be a warning that attempting to drag one image in the grid view will replace the existing manual sort order. More important there should be a way to backup the existing sort order and a way to restore a prior Manual sort order. This should be fairly straightforward by using and modifying the data in the folder UserSorts.

  9. Cancel opening a Secondary window in Bridge

    Cancel opening a Secondary window in Bridge

    I would like an option to cancel opening a secondary window in Bridge. As it is I can only"OK" the window to open and then close it. (I'm a klutz on the keyboard and often accidentally open a secondary window which sends me down a one-way path.)

  10. Spacebar Preview for Video

    Currently, pressing space bar to preview on a video file does not initialize full screen preview.

    Expectation: Pressing spacebar on a video file will enter full screen preview mode.

    Strangely enough, if you are already in full screen preview on any other file type, and then arrow over to a video file, full screen preview will display with video.

    Perhaps this is a bug?

    At any rate, being able to quickly preview videos with the spacebar command is a very helpful feature for users who using bridge to organize and review media file types of all kind.

  11. Caption Sheet Generator

    I, and the entire US Military photo community, would benefit from the ability to select 3-50 photos in Bridge and have it generate a PDF with thumbnails and associated captions/descriptions. As well as a header that shows all the required metadata fields that DoD photogs have to fill out. I created a concept PDF. This being an editable PDF would be important, because as quality control individuals receive the caption sheet, they can "red pen" or copy edit to make sure the caption and metadata are accurate.

  15. Map module for Bridge PLEASE!

    Please add a way to to view an actual map using the GPS data from file in Bridge. Lightroom has a Map view and it is a pain in the neck to keep switching back and forth just to use map option in Lightroom. It's been years! This should have been added long ago! Thank you.

  17. Magnifier Loupe Synchronisation in Review Mode

    When comparing 2, 3 or 4 similar images in Review Mode with the loupe, an option to sync the loupe on every image on the exact same spot with one click would be very helpful.

  18. Screen Jumps When Applying Ratings in Adobe Bridge

    I’ve noticed a recurring issue when applying ratings to files in Adobe Bridge. Here are the details:

    Issue: When I apply a rating to a file, the screen "jumps" down by one file instead of staying in place.
    When it occurs: This only happens when I have scrolled to the bottom of the list of files.
    Expected behavior: The screen should remain stable, allowing me to continue working on the current view without the need to scroll back up.

  19. Bridge + Camera RAW 2025 - I am losing edits and files are moved to trash

    Bridge and ACR were working stable for me in 2024, now with version 2025, I experience very often - approx. 1 in 50 files crashes and lost edits.

    After I finish editing/masking in Camera Raw for extensive time, like creating around 10 masks (20 minutes work) - after clicking DONE
    - no edits are saved in sidecar .xmp file,
    - sometimes the file even disappear from working folder, and I do not find them at all,
    - or the file is moved to trash.
    At the same time I am experiencing freezing/crashes in ACR, which I have not have for…

  20. Central settings for Adobe and system-wide File Type associations

    Since the dawn of Generative AI, there are almost daily upgrades and updates of 'regular' applications and public betas. And because of unfortunate cases of some crucial bugs, users (like me) prefer to retain or even re-install older versions. This results in a myriad of file type associations, both on the system level as in Adobe Bridge.

    Almost tens or even hundreds times a day, I'm confronted with the need to check the file type association of a certain file before double-clicking it. The system has its default settings, and some updates don't touch that, but other updates or upgrades…
