  1. Editing metadata in PDF crashes Bridge

    When trying to change a keyword in a PDF, Bridge goes to 100 % CPU and eventually crashes. Have tested on both M1 and Intel CPU. Version 11.0.2.123

  2. Metadata Templates incorrectly groups keywords together

    In Bridge 11.0.1, on a Windows 10 Pc, if I try to add 2 of more keywords in a metadata template, separated by a ; , they will become grouped, and enclosed in quotes: "keyword1; keyword2" instead of keyword1 ; keyword2

    It seems that Bridge does not interpret the semi column, even if the keywords are in a file, and loaded in the template from an existing file.

  3. Workflow - Export JPG - Star Rating is missing

    OSX 15.0
    Bridge v14.1.2.300

    1. Take a .DNG file and give it a 1 Star rating
    2. Create a workflow to export .JPG
    3. The star rating should be transfered to the jpg export
    4. BUG: the star rating will be removed

    I crosschecked with .TIF export, here the star rating will be transfered as expected

  4. Bridge won't open files using Explorer's file type association

    After the 10.0.3.138 update, Bridge no longer opens files using Windows Explorer's file type associations. For example, if you try to open an mp4 file Bridge will not open it in Movies & TV. Instead it will open it in a third party app if you have one installed that handles that file type. Otherwise, if there isn't a file type associated with it, Bridge will simply not open the file.   5. Metadata fails to populate (IPTC Core)

    This isn't an "idea," it is something that is broke. I've spend several hours on two different days with chat support, and no one can figure out what is wrong. I have multiple images that I apply metadata templates - actually thousands of images in a wildlife photography application. I've been doing so for many years now. This recently quit working on all images that have been processed (RAW images).     In Bridge 2019, no metadata field you can write the @ symbol using the keyboard. Using ASCII code yes. The same happens with the € symbol.

  7. Illustrator upgrade not reflected in Bridge file associations

    Bridge 10.0.0.124
    I updated Illustrator to 23.1, however Bridges still retained the file association for the previous Illustrator version.

  8. Cannot edit metadata or add keywords for video files

    .mp4 / .mov / .flv / .m4v

    no videos can be edited. It always shows "File does not accept XMP"

  9. Adobe Bridge and Google File Stream

    I'm having trouble and would like to know if someone else had this too - we're using Google File Stream for all the agency - and the Adobe Bridge dont load correctly some files - having trouble with simple things like:

    Rename Files or folders
    Creating New Folders
    Moving Files

    The search too doesnt works well

  10. Bridge Showing Mass Duplicate Files

    Since the new 2020 Bridge update, occasionally a folder will show nothing but duplicates of a random file rather than the actual contents of the folder. Screenshots attached.

  11. File name under Preview panel is truncated

    The file name under the preview panel is truncated. Longer file names, such as LongFileName_00001.jpg appear as "LongF....001.jpg."

    There is plenty of space there, and (surprise) Bridge 2018 didn't have this problem.

  12. Loupe tiling image preview for some JPG images - square or low ratio.

    Attached image is a 1500px x 1500px image previewed in Adobe Bridge v. 10.1.0.163

    psd file of same image previews correctly with loupe.
    Issue is more pronounced the smaller the image. Also attaced are screenshots of 200px x 200px psd preview and jpg preview. The jpg preview is tiled.

  13. Deleting pictures in photoshop bridge

    Deleting pictures in Photoshop bridge. If I delete a file say part way down in the preview (left side two columns wide, JPG and Raw side by side) after deleting Bridge take me back to the top of the listed files. I have scroll down to the position in list I was at before deleting. Wasting time. It did not do this before doing the latest upgrade 13.0.0.562. I cannot find a way to stop this.

  17. Metadata not available for batch rename

    I am unable to use Metadata entries for batch rename using Bridge v13.0.
    Additionally it seems to be not possible to save templates containing a condition with metadata entries.

    Rolling back to Bridge v12.0.3 and everything works fine.

  19. Bridge BUG

    when I view my jpg images in bridge, they appear extremely small. Sometimes half are showing properly at the size I have selected and half are very small in the preview. It made me nervous thinking that bridge resized the images, but they are all the correct pixals, just not showing correct in bridge.

  20. File info crashes Bridge while editing multiple files

    This feature has been working perfectly for years and years. And now it does not matter whether it's jpgs, raw-files or other, Bridge just disappears.

    PLEASE FIX THIS. It's annoying and slows the workflow considerably.
