This isn't an "idea," it is something that is broke. I've spend several hours on two different days with chat support, and no one can figure out what is wrong. I have multiple images that I apply metadata templates - actually thousands of images in a wildlife photography application. I've been doing so for many years now. This recently quit working on all images that have been processed (RAW images). If there is an XMP file containing processing instructions, when I apply the information from a metadata template, or enter the information manually, when I leave the images nothing has changed. Every now and then it works - but only on select images. I have tried this with single images, 6-12 images, and several hundred images in batch - the metadata does not populate. This is a huge problem on my PC running Windows 10. When I travel I use a MacBook Pro, and it works fine on the Mac. Both are using the latest Bridge versions.
