1. Stacks of images won't show top (first) image of the series consistently.

   I often create stacks from Bracketed sets of photos I shoot doing real estate, so I can compile them into HDR. When sorting through the stacks, it won't consistently show the first shot taken as the main thumbnail. It will often cycle to other images in the stack, some of which are very dark exposures from the bracket. This is very difficult when trying to sort through the stacks to select the images I want.

2. MXF Rename Not Working

   Cannot consistently rename or batch rename .mxf video files in Bridge (v12, 13 or 14.)
   When trying to batch rename, all files are usually skipped. Sometimes (after restart) all but first and last file selected are renamed. No error message.
   Cannot rename single .mxf, either. Error message reads that file is in use by another process. After restart one file can be renamed once - only once.
   XML, txt & mp4 files rename as expected.

3. No more compression options in the Bridge Output Module

   I used to be able to select JPG compression when I output to PDF, and my multi page documents were always under 5mb. What happened to the compression options? They are no longer there. My PDFs are now over 25mb, and that is after reducing the quality significantly. PLEASE bring back the compression options.

4. Bridge Ratings

   When I go into bridge Full Screen Preview or Review Mode, NONE of the labels or rating hotkeys work. How am I supposed to quickly cull/flag images without being about to use hotkeys while viewing at a large size?

5. Diagonal white lines across BW images

   Around 50 % of the Raw BW images generated by my Leica M11 Monochrome Camera and edited with PS (25.1.0) are displayed in Bridge (14.0.1,137) with 2 diagonal white stripes (left to right, top to bottom). See screenshots attached. The stripes are not visible when the images are displayed with PS

7. Preview panel all on one line

   In Adobe Bridge 2024, when I display the files in a folder in the preview panel in grid mode, it only displays them across the top row horizontally, and leaves all other row below empty no matter how the thumbnails are resized. SO, I fall back to AB 2023 where everything displays fine.

9. Unable to "Reveal in Explorer"

   On Windows 11, with clean install of Adobe Bridge, the right-click option "Reveal in Explorer" instead opens a Window Command Prompt that quickly closes before apparently doing nothing. Included screenshot of what the Command Prompt says...

11. Batch Name doesn't work since 2022

    The Batch Rename function does not work on Bridge 2024, also didn't work on 2023.

    I keep going back to Bridge 2022 when it did work. (kinda)

    Sometimes Br '22 gets stuck if I'm renaming hundreds or thousands of files. I have to rename them in parts so I can rename all the files.

12. Bridge version 13.0.2.636 crashing consistently

    A few days ago, I updated my Bridge version to the new version 13.0.2.636.
    After that I have constant crashes in bridge. It easy to reproduce:

    • Start Bridge
    • (Go to a folder with some images)
    • Select one image (for test purposes I select an JPEG image)
    • Hit SPACE to get full screen view
    • Hit SPACE again to get out of full screen view
    • Wait a couple of seconds: ---> CRASH
    • (Or click another image, see below)

    This seems to be 100% repeatable and renders Bridge unusable.
    This is somewhat of a crisis as I rely on Bridge for everyday work.

    Several log files can be provided:

    • CRASH-REPORT-after-full clean.txt (XML)
    • Log Collector: AdobeLogs20230116015900_363-win-GS.zxp
    • Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log

    Additional details:

    When uninstalling version 13.0.2.636 and then installing version 12.0.3 everything seems to work OK!

    I have submitted a few crash reports (using the dialog that pops up when Bridge crashes. I copy of the crash report can be supplied (an XML file generated by AdobeCrashReporter.

    Further details:

    When I experienced this the first time it was immediately after an update to version 13.0.2.636. I believe I was running version 13.0.1 before the update to 13.0.2.636. Everything seemed to work OK before the update to 13.0.2.636 (I got to test the new tabs etc.).

    When I first noticed the crashes with 13.0.2.636, it behaved slightly differently. After hitting space the second time I had to initiate some kind of action (like using the right arrow key or clicking somewhere on the Bridge user interface) before I experienced a crash (or maybe I did not waited long enough).

    I then uninstalled version for the first time and tried installing all versions (one at a time) from 12.0.3 (worked OK) and up (13.0, 13.0.1 and again 13.0.2, all now crashing).

    I then uninstalled all Adobe Cloud apps using the "Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool" (which BTW seems to leave a lot of stuff left in "C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe"?). I then reinstalled Photoshop and the latest version of Bridge (13.0.2.636). This did not solve the problem. Bridge still crashed as described above. I then again uninstalled version 13.0.2.636 and installed version 12.0.3 and Bridge again seems to work OK.

13. Bridge 2023 Folder Navigation Jumps to the Top When Photo is Added

    I use Bridge to edit batches of photos, dragging the selected photos into my "selects" folder within the project folder. With the 2023 update, every time I drag a photo into the selects folder, the folder panel jumps to the top of the folder list, and I have to grab the scroll bar and scroll back down to my selects folder to add the next photo. This is seriously slowing down my workflow.

14. Sorting by dimensions broken

    Sorting by dimensions is broken. I have a number of images that are greater than 4000x4000 px and they are placed at the end of the list of files when I have them sorted from largest to smallest dimensions. They are placed at the end directly behind ones that are 1080x1080 px.

    In the screenshots attached, you can see the file beginning "896..." is 1080x1080. The following photo beginning with "739..." is 4309x4341. The rest of the images to the right are just as large however they are placed at the end where it should be the smallest images. I can record a video of the sorting if more file info is needed.

    I think this is a rather important feature to be reliable for anyone needing to find the largest images in a sea of photos.

15. Very Hard to rename folders with Japanese text.

    Hi!
    I tried to rename folders with Japanese text, but the homophone selection field blinks and moves at high speed, making it difficult to fill in. With English text, the selection fields don't blinks nor moves. Why it happen? Is it a specification to prevent garbled characters?

16. Camera Raw GPU - Error

    When I open my images in Camera Raw directly from Bridge, my external GPU (NVIDIA) is not found and gives me an error (GPU acceleration not available).

    It only works when opening Camera Raw via Photoshop.

18. I don't know where to start

    Always... but literally always, after every update, there is another bug, which most likely occurred in previous versions already. Then it gets fixed, only for another one to appear. Recently, I had false colors in the preview, so I updated to another version (I lost track of which one since I tried several). This problem seems fixed, but now the start script for Photoshop is missing. As a result, I cannot use the image processor. It asks for the latest version of Photoshop, which I already have installed. Alternatively, I tried using the 'export to' command and set up JPEG export in the highest possible quality. Some images now have a green or even a red tint. I don't know where this comes from. It's really like an adventurous journey using Adobe Bridge. Just wondering what comes next. I guess some funny encounters with the output module. Or maybe it even goes missing... again.

19. There is an error in the GPS conversion

    There is an error in the GPS conversion. There was an error in the GPS unit conversion, and it included "," even though it was a "decimal" number. In addition, even if you input the GPS information displayed by the bridge into GIS, you will not be able to reach the exact location.

20. Burmese keywords are not shown

    Burmese keywords are not shown in the keyword panel. They are available but not shown in the panel. In the EXIF-Info dialogue they are displayer correctly.
