Navigation issues in Bridge 2023
There are some things that don't work in version 2023 anymore and that I miss already after one day of use:
- No thumbnail zoom with ctrl + mouse wheel.
- No backward function with backspace or back key on the mouse (!!)
- no more delay for showing quick info metadata
- no new window with Ctrl + N - instead tabs with Ctrl+Shift+T - let's see if this is better...?
Hi,
Many of the issues reported in the thread are fixed in the latest patch release #13.0.1.583, Please install and confirm if that fixes the issue.
You can refer the issues fixed in the patch @ https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/fixed-issues.html
Thanks,
Bridge Team

I've lost the ability to select the Go Back button or Go Forward button in the application bar to navigate between recently visited folders.

First 2 items are fixed, I'm not sure how long should last delay in third, so no clue it works well. The last one is not fixed yet.

THIS WAS NOT FIXED?

You can use 'Backspace' instead of Alt & Left Arrow', since this bug is fixed, but I agree key combinations to move backward / forward should be consistent. More about it in my comment to:

It's not just the forward and back mouse buttons that don't work but Alt+Left doesn't work anymore either! (Which is weird because Alt+Right DOES work.)

Bring back the CTRL+N. Who in the world thought it was a good idea to remove that!?

Back and forward mouse buttons not being usable for navigation are really tripping me up in this version.

The missing New Window functionality in Bridge is very difficult to work around. The plus button in the same window is fine, but we need to have the ability to use more than one Bridge window at the same time (for different panels to be open and seeing different images at the same time, etc.). Please restore this functionality. Thanks!

Bridge team you are killing us!!! Please Please Please let us separate these new tabs into new windows! Bring back command N for a new window. These tabs are useless and completely killing our workflow. Stop changing things that work perfectly fine.
Thanks,
Everyone who uses Bridge -

Hi Randolf,
Thanks for your feedback.
Could you please elaborate more on the 3rd issue that you have mentioned (no more delay for showing quick info metadata). Thanks,

Love the multiple panels, but the missing forward / backward navitation with mouse side buttons is a bit of a disaster

Besides navigation panel jumping back up to root with every operation, sometimes it takes several clicks to twirl down to subdirectorys.
Should be one click. Windows 10.
Did not have this problem with last version of Bridge. Started in 2023
Big bug.
