Can't Copy&Paste or Move Adobe Bridge 2020 picture files from one Folder to a different folder in Windows 10
There can be NOTHING more frustrating than this - - - - - impossible to move one picture file from A to B even before and after manipulation in Adobe Bridge and Photoshop and IMPOSSIBLE to rename the original Canon picture filename with a simple ABC123 etc.
THIS CANNOT BE BEYOND THE WIT OF GENIUSES

offline use of Bridge
Sometime my laptop is not able to be connected to the internet when I'm outside for meetings, but the Bridge pops up a window asking me either connect to internet or close the application. This is unbelievable, could you please settle this problem?

Bridge 2020 (MacOS) unable to deal with semicolon in folder names
Bug report: Bridge 2020 on MacOS does not work properly with folders that contain semicolons. For example, when you try to open Camera Raw on a DNG (inside a folder name that includes a semicolon), it comes up with an error message saying the file may be read-only (when it is not). Additionally, if Bridge is re-started, it 'forgets' the previous folder location if it has a semicolon in it and goes back to the default folder.

Cursor disappears. MacBookPro, 13", M1,2020, Ventura. Bridge 13.0.1.583
After using Bridge for a few minutes, cursor disappears. I have to quit and restart Bridge to bring it back. I've tried restarting the computer, but that doesn't help.

Check the manufacturer's website for the latest software.12 votesThis is a feature that helps you auto detect a corrupt GPU and turns on software rendering for quality preview and thumbnail.
If you correct issues with GPU, this setting will automatically turn off. -
AI Denoise creates DNG with random white squares in the picture
Bridge 14.0.4.222, Camera Raw 16.2.1, macOS 14.4.1
I open a Sony a6700 RAW FIle and use AI Denoise. The generated DNG Image has big white rectangles on it, sometimes with RGB-Patterns in it, sometimes lightly transparent or with a purple hue. When i view the image with macOS Preview, everything is fine, no rectangles, but when i open it with Bridge or Photoshop, there are those rectangles...

Bridge does not play nice with cloud storage like (OneDrive).
I have on-demand files setup on OneDrive to reduce disk space usage. I will push out source files like videos and audio. OneDrive allows you to block specific services from triggering the on-demand download. I am unable to block bridge because it is a seporate service not attached to a main .app or executable. It would be good for this to be handled in a better way than needing to block the bridge entirely, but it would be good if I was allowed to do this as I can no longer use bridge in my workflow. and I…

panels dissapear each time I minimize Adobe Bridge
Every time I minimize Bridge 9.1.0.338 and full screen it or bring it back into view, the side panels are gone.
This did not happen before the most recent update.

after deleting files from on external hd with bridge i can't find them in the trash
if I first open bridge an then I switch on the external hd the issue does not appear, but if I first switch on the external hd and after I open bridge the deleted files do not appear in the trash.

Utilizzando questa funzione "Duplica" alcune volte la data di creazione dei file "copia" risulta essere la stessa del file sorgente altre volte viene sovrascritta con la data attuale. Se non è un bug in quali casi si ha la coincidenza delle date di creazione e in quali no?
Using this "Duplicate" function some times the creation date of the "copy" files turns out to be the same as the source file other times it is overwritten with the current date. If it is not a bug, in which cases do the creation dates coincide and in which do not?

Can't apply labels to files stored on external hard drive - Bridge 2018 V 8.10.318 on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
Unable to apply labels to any file stored on external hard drive using Bridge 2018 Version 8.10.318 on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6. Labels apply as expected on files stored on Mac HD. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge (had to get Adobe Rep to send 2018 version for download since it is no longer available as an option in Older Versions via CC Desktop). Have also reset preferences numerous times.

export won't start if made under light table tab Bridge 2020
The wonderful and so useful "export to" in Bridge 2020 is not working properly, depending on which tab or presentation you have selected.
The export will never start in "light table" but works perfectly if "fix film" is selected before starting an export.Bridge 2020 last update, Mac OS 10.14.06

Using tab key to move down to next metadata field sometime moves the cursor UP to previous field
Starting with Bridge 2023, using the tab key to move to the next metadata field down no longer works properly. Instead of moving down to the next field, pressing the tab key will randomly move UP to the previous field instead. This is happening on several computers with different user accounts, so I know it's not machine specific or user error.

Adobe Bridge Crash on Duplicate Folder Name Creation

Crash Type: Application Hang (AppHangXProcB1)Issue: When attempting to create a new folder with a name that already exists in the current directory, Adobe Bridge crashes instead of returning a warning or error.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open any folder in Bridge.
2) Right-click and choose "New Folder".
3) Enter a folder name that already exists in the same location.

Startup lag - Bridge freezes right after startup
Right after Bridge has started, it freezes for a moderately long time. The UI isn't responding, sometimes the window whites out.
Whatever startup script or checking is going on in the background it is blocking everything. It is really annoying and counter-productive.
Tested on Windows 10. Everything updated to the latest version. Tested on 3 computers, one gaming laptop and 2 workstations having i7 processors and 16/32 GB RAM.
This startup freeze is present in Bridge for almost a year. I though it will be removed after a few versions, but it is getting annoying every day.2 votes -
Bridge Export fails after a few iterations
After a few iterations of exporting collections of Bridge photos to use in Lightroom Classic export stopped working. I had gotten a few exports to work, then the jobs started stacking up. The first job claimed to be working but was not making progress after 30 minutes. It appears that just iterating through different exports will recreate the problem. Killing the jobs, restarting Bridge, even with clearing cache had no effect. I am running Bridge 11.0.1.109. I have a Macbook Pro 2019 with 32GB of memory running Big Sur 11.1.

Truncates file names
When running an action to resize a .tif and convert it to .jpg filenames are truncated!
Example 29754.04-29763.37.tif is renamed to 29754.04-29763.jpg
I've been using photoshop for decades and have NEVER had this problem.
