  1. every file launches after effects

    Since the last update, every file i double click launches after effects for import !
    This concerns adobe extensions (psd, ai, ...) and other extensions (pdf, ppt, doc, docx, ...).
    Such a pain to see every new update only generates new bugs and no usefull features...

  2. Bridge CC 2019 open all files by default with AfterEffects

    Since I have updated Bridge this morning, it's opening all my files (ai, eps, pdf, jpg, etc) by default with After Effects even the asigned rule "Open with" it's right. Nonsense.

  3. Add Support for Canon EOS R Raw files (.CR3) in file type associations

    The new Canon Camera Raw format .cr3 is not in the Adobe Bridge file type association

    When selecting a batch of .cr3 files, press Enter and Photoshop will not be processed in batches like .cr2

  4. Bridge CC 2019 crashes when I open certain folders

    I have a few folders inside which I keep images I have dragged from websites as inspiration or research. These are usually jpgs, pngs, gifs or pdfs. After updating past CC 2014, Bridge crashes a few seconds after opening. Everything else seems to function. Even after sorting the files into separate folders for file type, each one crashes Bridge. Not one single update after 2014 seems to work. I'd run that version alone, but it's missing the image processor now...

    I've tried re-jpg-ing the files into a new folder to sort out any possible corruptions with no luck. Even finder…

  6. HELP 'paste' function in right button drop down menu missing in latest Windows version of Adobe Bridge - WTF

    You used to be able to copy and paste files using the right mouse button's drop down menu when working within Adobe Bridge. You could select several files in bridge, right click and select copy, and then select a different folder and right click on that folder and you could then 'paste' the files you copied into that folder. Paste does not even come up as an option now. I assume this is a mistake as this is a complete pain in the *ss. Currently you can only paste into an empty spot in the content area, if all of…

  7. Features not working when accessing files on network drive

    Bridge does not communicate with network drives as it should. I still cannot write metadata to files on network drives. I also just tried today to put a color label on some of my files, I did not get an error but it did not apply the color to the files on my network drive. I really need these features to work. I am also working with a similar issue with my home computer and network drive, there I cannot even see the proper folders in Bridge that are on my network drive. I can see and access them on…

  9. Bug: 2019 update removes Bridge / Tools / Photoshop Menu

    MacOS
    Installed Photoshop and Bridge CC2019 (psc 20.0.4)
    Noticed that Tools/Photoshop menu missing. Deal breaker for me.
    Reset preferences, restarted. No luck.
    Reverted to Bridge v 19.1.8. No luck.
    Reverted to Photoshop v 19.1.8 - Tools / Photoshop menu is back, working as expected.

    Will wait for an update with this fix mentioned in version notes before updating.

  10. Bridge 2019 drops support for white Interface color

    Title says it all.

    Based on my customer service chat, Adobe support is ignorant of this problem and untrained on how to advise.

    I am reverting to Bridge 2018.

    We are working on incorporating this requirement. This will be available in subsequent releases of Adobe Bridge

  11. android phone not recognised

    Photo downloader does not see or does not label the connected phone.
    Refresh creates a blank line which is the phone but then all media including music is listed.
    The blank line does not allow a file path to be pasted or typed

  12. stacks and auto-stack panorama/hdr

    1/ after having stacked photo's manually I exit bridge. when opening bridge again, all my stacks have disappaered

    2/ when i try to autostack images bridge comes back with: "image is missing preview data: filename" and this as many times as I have selected photos

  14. Bridge doesn´t open

    Starting Bridge and it doesn´t open fully. There is a pop up window in front of everything with a rolling waiting symbol, no text. As if Bridge is trying to online or something. Can not do anything.

    I need a quick fix. All my work is on hold because of this!

  15. "NEED MORE INFO" Suggestion - Moderators should require a FOLLOW UP

    It seems that this forum's moderators were not taught to follow up.
    NEED MORE INFO is an option for a Moderator to click but then they forget to actually ASK. What info do they need.

    For example. regarding how their Folders Panel doesn't work with the Magic Mouse.

  20. Bridge 2019 stops displaying thumbnails and metadata for .tif files

    This is a bug.

    Thumbnails and metadata from .tif files, created in Photoshop (with LZW compression - if that makes any difference), randomly fail to display, even though they may have displayed properly yesterday. Once one file exhibits this behaviour, then all of the rest soon follow. So, for example, once one file has stopped displaying a thumbnail, the thumbnail next to it that I can see will disappear when I click on it and it’s metadata will also disappear.

    I have tried deleting the cache and that sometimes works - next time I start Bridge I can see thumbnails…
