I have updated bridge and photoshop to the latest version. when I view a photo in bridge an double click bridge opens phothshop old version
Bridge is updated to latest version as well as Photoshop is updated to 2019 version. When I try to open photo displayed in bridge, it will open in 2018 version of Photoshop, not 2019 that is my current updated version. How do you change preferences in Bridge to open latest version of photoshop.
2 votesLaunch Bridge → Preferences→ File Type Associations → select the asset type and choose the default program you would like to associate.

Label color changes to white
I've labeled my images Green when all is done with the image. After some time the Green label changes to white. I don't know if that happens to other colors.
2 votesCan you please let me know the Bridge version you are using. Also did you apply labels and are viewing the files in the same version of Bridge?

I updated my Mac to Mojave. Now i see no tools e.g. like the magnifying glass or the brush size. Camera RAW only shows me the cursor in every category.
This error first appears after the update.

Hard to rename files/folders with long names
If a file or folder is over four lines long (in thumbnail view), it's impossible to see the whole filename when you're renaming it. I can't find a way to scroll down to where the cursor is, the only answer seems to be to switch to list view.

Bridge won't import images from camera any more?
Last week, I could import all images from my camera (Canon 5Ds and a 650D). Now I cannot import images from either camera? Gets to the import dialogue box and essentially freezes. I need to open control panel to shut it down. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.. still has the same issue. :(

Output doesn't export to PDF (grayed out)
Although all files are selected and every setting is filled in, the knob 'Export to PDF' stays unselectable (grey)

PDF Output
Output to PDF thumbnails needs a color profile setting you can adjust. Current Bridge CC 2019 is terrible. The images are always too dark and over saturated. Clients don't understand. This needs immediate attention.
The top layer is from Photoshop ContactSheet II. The bottom layer is Bridge.

Writing metadata to files on a Windows share (XMP interface or star ratings/labels) freezes Bridge on Mac OS
Setup: Windows Server 2012r2 shares, using Bridge with MacOS Mojave (latest versions of each).
Writing any type of metadata to some file types on our Windows Server 2012r2 shares causes Bridge to freeze. Unfortunately .indd files are one example and the labelling of them is central to our workflow. It starts responding again eventually but each write takes around a minute (and this is over a fast network - mixed 10gbe/1gbe, reads/writes of huge video files get thrown around on here with no problem).
It also freezes InDesign (though not Photoshop, Chrome, etc.) and won't all you to browse other…

Image processor not opening first image
When opening the Image Processor under Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor, and selecting to Open First Image To Apply Settings, Bridge completely ignores this request, and finishes the process without opening the Raw Editor. I've tried many times over months, including reinstalling, and only been successful once.
Several others in the forum have raised this issue and been either unanswered or given long-winded workarounds. Has there been a patch fix yet?!

ACR lists only 16 camera profiles, few only lens profiles after updating PS to v20.0.1
Although all previously files for both sets of profiles are located in C:Program Data, ACR cannot see them, and I have not been able to locate any method of directing ACR to the appropriate folders.

Please make sure that when the Show is checked that they do show. I have checked the Show Date Created, Date Modified but they do not appear when viewing the images in Bridge.

Can not delete files!
I just reviewed a photo shoot of 1000+ and wanted to delete about 500 of them. Bridge freezes everytime I try to delete them all at once.
Tried it several times now, does not work. This has never happened to me before the 2019 version came out!

no disk in the drive
My experience is similar to the existing 'no disk' error on starting the application, but the error message states 'please insert a disk into \Device\Harddisk3\DR3
The error message resists attempts to close but, if I wait a short while, the error message will close when clicking 'Continue'.2 votes -
Adobe Bridge CC 2019 sidebar folder view shows hidden files in macOS root directory
In Adobe Bridge CC 2019 sidebar view (left sidebar with folders), some hidden system directories are visible in macOS High Sierra 10.13.x and Mojave 10.14.x.
These folders are for example:
- "private",
- "Network",
- "usr",
- "sbin",
- "cores",
- "bin".
All folders are located in the macOS root directory. Normally these folders are not visible and should be hidden. Hide and Unhide files/folders within macOS preferences is has no effects in Adobe Bridge CC (at least not in the macos root directory).
Turning on/off the "show hidden files" in Adobe Bridge CC preference option has also no effect in the macOS root directory but…

Problems with Keywords in B
I have recently installed Bridge CC 2019 on my mid-2015 MacBook Pro that is running Mojave.
When adding keywords in Bridge the operation often overwrites the “date created” of the file and it is not possible to change it back using the Edit > Edit Capture Time command.
Also, several days after installing Bridge CC 2019, all my custom keywords were deleted, after having been there for about a week. This is very frustrating!
