  1. Bridge jpg export image quality worse and larger in file-size than Photoshop legacy export :(

    Exporting JPGs in Bridge had a 1.5x to 2x larger file size with lower image quality compared with photoshop legacy export. A compression rate like 1 in Bridge and Photoshop compression rate 10 ... the files in Photoshop were smaller and better in Quality.

    What can I do to get a similar Image Quality with same files size like Photoshop?

  2. No Metadata are shown in both, Bridge 2019 and 2020

    After updating MacOS to catalina there where no Metadata displayed anymore.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Creating a metadata template doesn't work | Bridge 2023 - version 14.0.0.102

    The list of metadata attributes doesn't show up, therefore I can't select and add e.g. Author/Copyright information.

  4. Bitmap are tagged as sRGB - Metadata in Bridge 2020_10.1.0.163 - MacOs 10.13.6

    Metadata in Bridge 2020_10.1.0.163 shows sRGB color profil on Bitmap files.

    It's impossible to have a profil with Bitmap.

  5. Camera raw 14.0 loses Crop Tool Rotate if XMP is embeded in DNG

    Adobe Bridge 12.0.0.234 using Camera Raw 14.0.0.950

    Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 20H2 OS Build 19042.1348

    In Adobe Bridge set Camera Raw Preferences to embed XMP in DNG file.

    To reproduce fault.
    Double click on a DNG file you want to rotate.
    Select Crop Tool and Click on Rotate 90 degrees icon (CW of ACW). The photo rotates.
    Click on Done.
    Image Preview is not rotated - double clicking back into image shows the photo is not rotated.

    In Adobe Bridge click on rotate icon (CW or ACW) - preview rotates.
    Double click on image to start in Camera…

  6. Bridge 2024 (14.1.2.300) Batch renaming hangs when renaming hundreds of file

    Bridge is loosing head after renaming hundreds files (swap filename between current file and the next), loose extension (put JPG instead of keeping NEF). Some files are named AdobeBridgeBatchRenameTemp120240712105453ISO3200120 sf_11,0...

  7. Adobe Bridge 2020 does not open file when thumbnail is double clicked.

    When image thumbnail is double clicked in Bridge 2020 nothing happens. The only way to open any image file .jpg, psd, ect. is to open in camera raw.

  9. Bridge CC 2019 open all files by default with AfterEffects

    Since I have updated Bridge this morning, it's opening all my files (ai, eps, pdf, jpg, etc) by default with After Effects even the asigned rule "Open with" it's right. Nonsense.

  11. Problems with Metadata panel (15.0.0.397)

    I would like to report some bugs in the "Metadata" window/panel (Windows).
    As far as I can tell this was introduced in the latest version of Bridge (15.0.0.397) (never seen this before now).

    As can be seen in the examples below, some fields gets way to large (high) or to small (only a single line).
    Also, sometimes there are large areas of unused pace.

    In the examples below I have undocked the "Metadata" window to make it a bit larger (when docked the behavior is the same, but more difficult to observe).

  12. Bridge Is Terrible When Editing Metadata On PSD

    Bridge has always been bad when entering meta on PSDs, but lately it is horrific.

    I have a folder of PSD files. I select them all and "FILE INFO" to add a base set of meta. I walk away and do something else for a while and come back, and they are fine.

    Now, I grab a group of them, and add to the keywords and maybe change the title using the Metadata tab. Then I grab another bunch and do the same thing. It -should- queue up the changes and get them all done, however slowly it…

  13. Renaming a jpg file also causes the raw file with same name to rename.

    Bug:
    Example: Renaming IMG8023.jpg. However, IMG8023.cr2 also renames.
    To rename, I select the filename in the Content panel. The filename highlights. I change the name (add to the existing name: "InstrumentIMG8023."). Both IMG8023.jpg and IMG8023.cr2 rename simultaneously. FYI, I created the .jpg from the raw file - the jpg was not camera generated if it matters.

  15. Manual sorting in bridge 2023 (version: 13.0.0.562)

    Manual sorting: in bridge, if I drag a group of files to another place, the original order is reversed. So for example if I drag files: 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 4.jpg 5.jpg to another position, the order of these 4 files will change to 5.jpg, 4.jpg, 2.jpg, 1.jpg. I didn't have any problems with Bridge 2022.

  16. metadata on mouse hover stick on the screen in Bridge 13.0.0.562 (2023)

    Randomly / sometimes the metadata bubble on mouse over sticks on the screen and does not disappear on mouse move. It even stickes there on folder change! Sometimes minimizing and resizing Bridge window solves the problem, but most times I should close Bridge and restart it! VERY ANNOYING BUG!!!
    It is the same on a very different computer also, so it's not my PC's fault.

  17. Bridge 2021 Export without including original metadata

    I am not sure if what I describe is a bug or something else.
    I created a Custom Export template in which I unchecked the "Include Original Metadata" box. Images are exported in JPEG format.
    When I use this template, some images have all metadata stripped as I would expect but some do not , their Camera Data (Exif) is not stripped while other metadata is. I have tested this starting with a variety of image formats, JPEG, TIFF, DNG. I am unable to discern any pattern which identifies problematic images.

  18. batch rename is skipping xmp files when I rename raw files.

    I have folders of raw files, some with xmp files with ACR settings and some without. When I run batch rename processes on the whole folder the .xmp files are not renamed, only the .NEF files, making my settings effectively disappear.

  19. Metadata panel displays incorrect PPI for PNGs

    Bridge version 10.1.0.163
    Mac OS 10.15.6

    Steps to reproduce: Open a PNG file, change the PPI, save and close.
    Expected Result: Metadata window shows the new PPI information.
    Actual Result: Metadata window shows the previous PPI.
