1. Photoshop Script Turning JPGs Blue on Export

   This still happens even after I disable the script in Bridge.

   This still happens even when I don't go through Bridge. Now when I export directly from Photoshop through "saves as," the image still has blue tint.

   I have to reinstall Photoshop to get it back to working correctly (no blue tint).

2. Bridge 2023: Core UI Controls Missing or Unintuitive for Ratings, Rejects, Labels

   I became EXTREMELY frustrated with the non-intuitive nature of the latest Bridge. I worked through issues with ChatGPT and asked it to distill all that frustration into usable bug fix data for you. See below.

   I am reporting what I believe is both a usability bug and a major design regression in Adobe Bridge 2023 (and possibly newer).

   The core functionality for star ratings, reject flags, and labels—which are central to Bridge’s role as a media triage and asset manager—has been made incredibly difficult or nearly impossible to access in recent versions. I'm an advanced user trying to visually triage and organize a large number of video segments. This used to be Bridge's strength. Now it feels like an invisible obstacle course.

   Here are the specific issues:

   There is no longer a visible toggle or setting in the View menu (or anywhere else) to enable thumbnail badges, ratings, or reject flag visibility. These are either buried, automatically suppressed, or simply missing.

   The "reject" function, which used to be applied via a visible icon or shortcut, now appears to have no visual representation unless manually filtered via the Filter panel. There is no red X, no feedback, no context menu option—just silence.

   Clicking what appears to be a "reject" icon next to the stars actually just clears the star rating. There is no clear indication of what this does until trial and error reveals it. This is confusing and misleading UI.

   Right-clicking a thumbnail does not offer any options to rate, reject, or label the file. These options used to be available in earlier versions. Now they are hidden or stripped out.

   Keyboard shortcuts (1–5 for stars, 6–9 for labels, Delete for reject) still function—but unless you already know them and have the proper workspace, thumbnail size, and panels enabled, there is no way to know how or where to apply these settings.

   Preferences, View settings, and even the Workspace system no longer give users consistent control over what metadata is visible or how to apply it.

   Many support replies—even from Adobe staff—reference Lightroom Classic when users are asking about Bridge. This contributes to the confusion and makes users feel abandoned.

   The result: a program designed to enable fast media triage now requires hours of troubleshooting just to get a visible star or reject badge. This is not user error—this is a UX breakdown.

   What I'm asking for:

   Restore visible, clickable badges or icons for rating, rejecting, and labeling in the thumbnail view.

   Add clear right-click menu options for applying ratings and labels.

   Restore or add a setting (in Preferences or View) to explicitly enable or disable thumbnail badges.

   Clarify the purpose of UI elements like the blank-star "reject-looking" icon so it is not misleading.

   Provide a consistent visual feedback mechanism so users know what metadata is assigned and can trust what they’re seeing.

   Update your documentation and support articles to reflect the current UI, not outdated or Lightroom-specific instructions.

   This is not a niche complaint. It affects the core purpose of Bridge and creates enormous friction in workflows that used to be seamless.

   Thank you for reading. I truly want to see Bridge succeed—but right now, it feels broken in the most fundamental way.

3. File Info Keyboard Shortcut changed from Adobe standard

   Formerly, the keyboard shortcut to bring up File Info was <ctrl><alt><shift> I, just as it is in PhotoShop. Now it appears to be just <ctrl>I. My fingers are used to the old pattern and it's difficult to change old habits. Bridge version 13.0.0562

4. Output module image distortion in Bridge 2020

   When I put portrait orientation images into a page oriented vertically (2x2 cells), Bridge 2020 squashes and stretches the images so they become landscaped oriented image inside the vertical cells.

5. Unable to Convert CR3 to DNG using Bridge Photo Downloader

   Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader won't convert my CR3 files to DNG during the conversion. Separately downloaded DNG converter also does not recognize the files.

6. Shared Cache not working with PSD files

   Version: Bridge 11.0.2.123
   OS: Windows 10.0.19041

   Expected behaviour:
   - When browsing a folder or sub folder that has a shared chache the chache is copied to %AppData%\Adobe\Bridge\SharedChache (later local SharedChache) and thumbnails are displayed rather quickly.
   - Bridge should be responsive after showing the popup when importing the cache.

   Acutal behaviour:
   - Bridge shows the chache import popup when visiting the shared chache root folder (containing only tiff images an one sub folder) as expected.
   - The thumbnails are displayed very quickly as expected.
   - Bridge also copies the JPG 256 and 1024 files to the local SharedChache folder alongside other files as expected.

   • Bridge freezes and saturates the network (I suspect that it is generating the chache again).
   • Bridge shows the chache import popup when visiting the one subfolder containing psd files but only very briefly.
   • The thumbnails take ages to load.
   • Bridge seems to generate new PNG files and does not copy the files from the .BridgeSharedCache folder.

   This also happens when the PSD Files are in the root folder (where the shared cache was generated).

   Steps to reproduce:
   - Create shared cache (including all subfolders)
   - Close Bridge
   - Delete Cache and SharedChache folder (in %AppData%\Adobe\Bridge)
   - The file sizes range from 500Mb to 2Gb and the speed of the network drive is about 100Mbit/s.

   Version: Bridge 11.0.2.123
   OS: Windows 10.0.19041

7. October 2022 Bridge Update -- scrolling issue (Windows 10)

   After the most recent update in Windows 10 (10/21/22) scrolling in Bridge (version 13) now occurs in non-contiguous jumps (i.e., I can no longer scroll through a large image set and see a continuous flow of images). The scrolling action itself is smooth but no longer allows me to scroll through a block more than 10-20 images without skipping to a non-contiguous block of 10-20 images. Quite irritating!

8. Bridge 2020 reverting back to Desktop Favorites Folder

   Adobe Bridge 2020 keeps reverting back to my desktop folder every hour or 2. It doesn't matter what folder I am working out of. Even with multiple windows open, they will all revert back to my desktop folder and I have to spend a lot of time digging through folders to find the files I am working on. Most of the files are buried 3 or 4 layers deep in Bridge. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it? Or is this just a bug?

9. Bridge 15.0.2.432 "copy path" gives me an error dialog "ReferenceError: vers is undefined34"

   In Bridge, I wanted to use a path to a file elsewhere. I right-clicked to bring up the context menu on the Thumbnail and selected "Copy path." An error dialog appeared stating, "ReferenceError: vers is undefined34."

   Nothing is copied to the clipboard.

10. Bridge has poor color management

    Bridge 11.0.0.83 shows a magenta hue on every thumbnail. When opening in Camera Raw, the hue remains. The contrast is bad too. Pictures that were adjusted in earlier versions remain ok. Something wrong with the DNG interpretation?

    Why does bridge not use the same catalog as lightroom? they are sister products and the potential for integration/working side-by-side, seems tremendous.

12. Bridge must be set to Run as Admin for AUTOPLAY to work after Nov '22 update.

    Win 11 22H2, Nov 2022 update installed. The 'Application not found' error no longer occurs. Autoplay set to Import to Bridge 2023 in the OS. However, have to run Bridge as Administrator to get full functionality. I set the property sheet for bridge.exe so it is run as administrator and functionality restored.

13. Bridge crashes when editing image in Camera Raw

    Bridge 11.0.1.109

    Select image in Bridge and open in Camera Raw.

    Big Sur 11.2.1, iMac late 2014, 3.5 GHz Quad-Core i5, 8GB mem, Radeon R9 M290X.

    Attempting to adjust any controls in camera raw will cause an immediate crash.

    Also, when camera raw opens, most of the icons and controls are disfigured with weird graphics.

14. Adobe Bridge 2020 becomes unresponsive after interaction with another application on a different desktop

    I use multiple virtual desktops on my Windows 10 machine. It appears that every time I interact with an application that's open on a different desktop (e.g. Outlook), Bridge stops responding to User Input. The Title Bar doesn't say (unresponsive) when apps don't respond to OS commands. Neither does it say (unresponsive) in the task manager list. But it stops responding to all input including mouse clicks and gives me a "ding" sound. I have to force close it via Task Manager. (I haven't tested if this happens on a Mac as well.)

    Once I close Bridge via Task Manager, it appears that Windows Explorer becomes unstable. And sooner or later the File Open or File Save As dialog box becomes unresponsive. At that point I have to reboot the whole computer. It is pretty annoying to the point of where I am thinking of not using Bridge for the time being.

15. Video Thumbnails not Generating / Unable to Preview Videos

    I am trying to use Bridge to organise and preview my library of stock video.
    From what I've seen online this should be possible, but when I open Bridge and browse to a folder containing video files, all I see is the Quicktime icon.
    I don't see full metadata, and I am unable to preview the video within Bridge.
    Am using version 10.0.3.138 of Bridge on a 2013 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro running macOS Mojave 10.14.6

    after Update on 11.08.2023, Upon attempting to open RAW files in Adobe Bridge, the option to "Open in Camera RAW" is not present in the context menu or any other relevant menu. The functionality to directly open RAW files in Camera RAW is missing. I am using BRIDGE Beta version. Thumbnails for SONY .ARW RAW files are not displayed in Adobe Bridge, causing difficulties in identifying and previewing these files within the application.

    This issue is fixed with the latest Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) 15.5.1 update.

    We would recommend you update and confirm if the issue is resolved.

    To update Camera Raw: Go to the Creative Cloud desktop app, click on Update in the left sidebar of the Apps panel, and Check for updates. Then click Update for Camera Raw.

18. Bridge CC 19 does not show external drive in folders

    Since I upgraded to Bridge CC 19 I can not see or access my Thunderbolt or network drives in the folders window any more.

19. adobe bridge brake down

    Hallo, früher konnte ich aus der Bridge heraus mehrere Fotos als einezelne Ebenen in PS öffnen. Dazu musste ich die Fotos makieren, dann "Werkzeuge" anklicken, "Photoshop" auswählen und dann "Dateien in PS-Ebenen laden" anklicken. Diesen Befehl gibt es nicht mehr. Weiß jemand wo er hingekommen ist???? Statt dessen gibt es den Befehl "Sammlung in PS verarbeiten" und der funktioniert nicht. Es kommt eine Fehlermeldung. Wem bitte passiert das auch? Hat einer eine Lösung oder mache ich etwas falsch?

    Please confirm if you have the latest version of Photoshop installed on your machine.

20. Camera Raw preferences in Bridge does not recognize GPU

    When I try to edit Camera Raw (v. 16.3.0) preferences from Bridge (v, 14.1.0) it does not recognise GPU in Performance. Works well from Photoshop (v.25.9.0, GPU is recognized).

    Please fix.
