Bridge 2023 memory
After running Bridge 2023 in background on a M1 Studio the memory run full. Then only help killing the Bridge process.

Folder panel is not showing folder when image is selected
The folder is not highlighted when an image is selected. Impossible to know what folder the content is in. (Show subfolders is chosen). As well, unable to use back/forth button on mouse to go from one reviewed folder to another. This feature was working until the recent updates.

Bridge 2023 keeps looking for Photoshop 2022, does not recognize Photoshop 2023 on Windows 10, works fine on my Windows 11 machine.
Bridge does not open into PS 2023, keeps telling me it cannot find PS 2022. This is in Windows 10, works fine on my lower spec Windows 11 machine.

Not able to see either the SD card from the camera or the scandisk drive to get photos from camera. Also Photo Downloader does not show the devices to get the photos from. Neither are working?

Metadata fails to populate (IPTC Core)
This isn't an "idea," it is something that is broke. I've spend several hours on two different days with chat support, and no one can figure out what is wrong. I have multiple images that I apply metadata templates - actually thousands of images in a wildlife photography application. I've been doing so for many years now. This recently quit working on all images that have been processed (RAW images). Jpeg images displayed at 100% in Bridge slideshow or full screen view are soft
The same images look sharper when viewed in Photoshop at 100% and even when viewed in the Finder. These are relatively small images, downloaded from the internet, that do not need to be resized for display. It makes no sense that they should appear soft when viewed in Adobe Bridge. It makes the software a poor photo viewer.

Error: "Generate pdf failed due to unknown reason"
Every time I try to output any number of files, I receive this message. I've tried creating a pdf with 1 and 12 images but neither seems to be working. Everything is up to date. Just a simple 2x2 pdf layout
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting the computer.
Anyone else having this issue and found a solution?

Batch editing is not working
Batch editing files is not working at all.
An action is made in PhotoShop (up to date version). Several CR3 files are selected and Tools/Photoshop/Image Processor is chosen. Section 2: Save in same location is selected Section 3: /Save as Jpeg /convert to sRGB are chosen Section 4: Run action is checked off and I have selected the action I want to run. I select RUN.
In seconds I get a message (which I have received for years) that says Sorry, I could not process the following files...
I CAN run this action if I put a file in Photoshop…

Bridge is not keeping images selected after exiting full-screen preview.
Bridge is not retaining multiple selected images. I select 2 or more images and hit the spacebar to view in full-screen, then rate and label. When I go to exit full screen mode (FSM), I lose everything that was selected. The only thing selected is whatever image I was on when I exited FSM). It happens every single time, not just once in a while.
I've updated graphics card, software, and windows to latest. I've tried "resetting" Bridge. I've tried rolling back to previous versions of Bridge and graphics card. I even tried completely uninstalling and re-installing Bridge without my…

Unable to apply edits to metadata sometimes
Intermittent, unpredictable inability to add or apply edits to metadata fields such as IPTC Core using Adobe Bridge 12.0.2 and preceding 12.0.1.246 release. This is particularly unacceptable when editing metadata of multiple selected images. Worse yet, there is no error message generated! You must check file by file, metadata field by field, to see if the edit was applied. This seems to persist in certain image files but not others.
When only one file has metadata added or edited metadata, clicking the lower right corner “Apply” icon results in either:

Startup lag - Bridge freezes right after startup
Right after Bridge has started, it freezes for a moderately long time. The UI isn't responding, sometimes the window whites out.
Whatever startup script or checking is going on in the background it is blocking everything. It is really annoying and counter-productive.
Tested on Windows 10. Everything updated to the latest version. Tested on 3 computers, one gaming laptop and 2 workstations having i7 processors and 16/32 GB RAM.
This startup freeze is present in Bridge for almost a year. I though it will be removed after a few versions, but it is getting annoying every day.2 votes -
Bridge 2021 Crashes When Entering Full Screen Mode
When I press 'Spacebar' to view an image in Full Screen Mode, Bridge completely crashes. Interestingly, upon restarting the program, a crash error dialog box does not appear and Bridge opens to the folder I first opened the program in, not the last one. When opening audio and video files, Bridge didn't even try opening the file in Full Screen Mode. It was like I didn't press 'Spacebar.' It only tries entering Full Screen Mode with images, but it crashes when it attempts to do so. I hoped updating to v12.0.2 would fix it, but it didn't. Running Windows 10…

Batch Rename Messed Up File Extensions
I just experienced a situation where Bridge messed up some, but not all, file extensions during a batch rename. It's similar to some other threads I found, but different enough that I thought I'd start a new one.
I have a folder with about 175 items. There are CR2 and JPEG files from two cameras, and HEIC files from an iPhone. When I did the batch rename, several, but nowhere near all, of the CR2 files, and a couple of JPEGs, got assigned the HEIC file extension. And some of the HEIC files were given the CR2 extension. We need a true save-workspace option
While it is convenient to save Workspace, I often cycle through multiple projects, each of which have their own set of image assets at different locations on my system.
I find Favourites awkward to use – for one, I can't delete an existing Favourite which points to a location that no longer exists on my system. These "ghost favourites" remain forever, as far as I can tell.

JPG File saved by Camera Raw from raw file looks different from raw file + xmp in Bridge 12.0.1.246
Never experienced a detectable visual difference before . I usually restrict JPG size to 5MB. Saving to a JPG with quality 12 made no difference. Both JPGs looked different from the RAW (CR2) + xmp. I cannot upload the raw or the xmp file, so I can't illustrate the problem with an upload

Bridge does not play nice with cloud storage like (OneDrive).
I have on-demand files setup on OneDrive to reduce disk space usage. I will push out source files like videos and audio. OneDrive allows you to block specific services from triggering the on-demand download. I am unable to block bridge because it is a seporate service not attached to a main .app or executable. It would be good for this to be handled in a better way than needing to block the bridge entirely, but it would be good if I was allowed to do this as I can no longer use bridge in my workflow. and I previously never…

Keywords keep getting nested under "Other Keywords" folder instead of main folder
For some reason I have several keywords that keep getting repeatedly nested under the "Other Keywords" file, despite removing them and making them persistent about 50 times. I've deleted the keywords from the images repeatedly, deleted them from Bridge, and cleared the cache and each time I try to re-add them to the main folder and assign them to images, they get stuck under Other Keywords. I've been trying for hours to fix this - I have no computer programming skills, so anything with scripts is beyond me. Please help if you can, thanks so much!

PREVIEWS not always working
PREVIEWS aren't always generated. I might open a file, PSD, PNG etc , make a change, save it and when i go back to BRIDGE, the preview won't display. To fix this I discovered that I can change the file's name in BRIDGE (then change it back of course to have it named properly) then the preview will be generated. It's very annoying to have to do this multiple times a day.
