1. Bridge 2021 Crashes When Entering Full Screen Mode

   When I press 'Spacebar' to view an image in Full Screen Mode, Bridge completely crashes. Interestingly, upon restarting the program, a crash error dialog box does not appear and Bridge opens to the folder I first opened the program in, not the last one. When opening audio and video files, Bridge didn't even try opening the file in Full Screen Mode. It was like I didn't press 'Spacebar.' It only tries entering Full Screen Mode with images, but it crashes when it attempts to do so. I hoped updating to v12.0.2 would fix it, but it didn't. Running Windows 10 Home, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5, 64-bit. Thank you for your help.

2. Batch Rename Messed Up File Extensions

   I just experienced a situation where Bridge messed up some, but not all, file extensions during a batch rename. It's similar to some other threads I found, but different enough that I thought I'd start a new one.

   I have a folder with about 175 items. There are CR2 and JPEG files from two cameras, and HEIC files from an iPhone. When I did the batch rename, several, but nowhere near all, of the CR2 files, and a couple of JPEGs, got assigned the HEIC file extension. And some of the HEIC files were given the CR2 extension. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. As you can see from one of the screenshots, consecutive RAW files were given different extensions. My rename setup did not involve altering the extension at all. On top of all of that, about 8 files did not get renamed at all.

   Now, I can't undo the batch rename, and will have to take a great deal of time going through and fixing them.

4. We need a true save-workspace option

   While it is convenient to save Workspace, I often cycle through multiple projects, each of which have their own set of image assets at different locations on my system.

   I find Favourites awkward to use – for one, I can't delete an existing Favourite which points to a location that no longer exists on my system. These "ghost favourites" remain forever, as far as I can tell.

   I would like to be able to save a whole Project workspace – with its own "back" button, recent files, etc., independent of other projects. So, if I am working on project A, I can call that up and everything is there as I left it last time.

   As it is now, I have to go through the onerous process of finding the location, usually with the help of the Mac finder, which is better, and then dragging that folder to Bridge to get going where I left off.

   It's sort of hard to explain, but imagine you are working on 20 projects. Wouldn't it be great to have each project self-contained? So, everything is at hand? The closest analogy would be CC Libraries, but for Bridge.

   This would be a real improvement.

5. JPG File saved by Camera Raw from raw file looks different from raw file + xmp in Bridge 12.0.1.246

   Never experienced a detectable visual difference before . I usually restrict JPG size to 5MB. Saving to a JPG with quality 12 made no difference. Both JPGs looked different from the RAW (CR2) + xmp. I cannot upload the raw or the xmp file, so I can't illustrate the problem with an upload

7. PREVIEWS not always working

   PREVIEWS aren't always generated. I might open a file, PSD, PNG etc , make a change, save it and when i go back to BRIDGE, the preview won't display. To fix this I discovered that I can change the file's name in BRIDGE (then change it back of course to have it named properly) then the preview will be generated. It's very annoying to have to do this multiple times a day.

8. Bridge 12 (2021) scrolling is terrible everywhere

   Scrolling in the folder window doesn't work correctly.
   Scrolls 13x too fast.

   Scrolling in the content window looks like you're scrolling backwards because again, smooth scrolling has not been programmed into this application yet.

9. Bridge 2022 stops working

   I do not use Bridge as I do most of my work in Lightroom Classic. However, I am experimenting with HDR and remembered that you could process collections via Bridge in Photoshop - it is a bit tedious having to do repeated HDR processing in Lightroom. Unfortunately when I start Bridge it just hangs after a short while and I can't do anything with it. Tried Uninstalling and reinstalling but no use. Using Windows 11 and latest version of Bridge.

10. Image Processor

    Image Processor Not Working:

    Using Bridge 12.0.0.234 and Photoshop 23.0.1 on a Windows 10 PC.

    I just updated both Bridge and Photoshop to the latest versions, and when I select a photo in Bridge and then select Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor, Photoshop opens, but then nothing happens... the normal Image Processor options-selection window does not appear.

    Help! (I use Image Processor frequently.)

11. Full screen not opening in bridge on Mac

    On Bridge 2022 and recently had a photoshop update. When pressing the spacebar it doesn't open the full screen preview. It grays out the program like the preview is open but nothing shows up.

12. Get photos from camera in bridge

    I am having an issue uploading images from my Nikon D7500. I opened Bridge, obtained images with no problem. I disconnected my camera, shot more images, connected my camera again and the "Get photos from camera" in Bridge icon does nothing. I closed and reopened Bridge, still not able to upload images. I clicked on the grid style of how to view images and clicked again on "get photos from camera" and it opened immediately. I have RAW images. I never had this issue prior to the new update. I will say that the images that I choose to download load so much faster in the new version for me.

13. Camera raw 14.0 loses Crop Tool Rotate if XMP is embeded in DNG

    Adobe Bridge 12.0.0.234 using Camera Raw 14.0.0.950

    Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 20H2 OS Build 19042.1348

    In Adobe Bridge set Camera Raw Preferences to embed XMP in DNG file.

    To reproduce fault.
    Double click on a DNG file you want to rotate.
    Select Crop Tool and Click on Rotate 90 degrees icon (CW of ACW). The photo rotates.
    Click on Done.
    Image Preview is not rotated - double clicking back into image shows the photo is not rotated.

    In Adobe Bridge click on rotate icon (CW or ACW) - preview rotates.
    Double click on image to start in Camera Raw and image is not rotated.
    Click on Done and Adobe Bridge preview is reset to not rotated.

    However, if you set Camera Raw Preferences to Always use Sidecar files and follow the same sequence the image rotates and stays rotated.

    Set the preference back to embed XMP in DNG and the fault returns. So the problem must lie in writing the XMP into the DNG file.

    This was working up until the latest update.

    I have tried DNG files from two different sources: a camera and a scanner and Adobe Bridge/Camera raw shows the same bug with both.

    I have seen one other instances of someone reporting a similar fault.

14. Missing file window

    Can't expand window to view path on missing file window. Also would be great if once you point to a new folder it would automatically find the missing links as in Indesign.

16. Bridge BUG

    when I view my jpg images in bridge, they appear extremely small. Sometimes half are showing properly at the size I have selected and half are very small in the preview. It made me nervous thinking that bridge resized the images, but they are all the correct pixals, just not showing correct in bridge.

17. Can not export contact sheet to pdf. Loads forever and is not working. Works when there is less than 10 images on the contact sheet.

18. Merge to HDR Pro

    When I select three raw files in Bridge (version 11.1.0.175), Photoshop (version 22.4.2 20210602.r.242 a4f6042 x64) opens and creates a layer "Merge to HDR Pro", but stops after having imported two of the three raw files. Sometimes, importing works, but I do not see a specific pattern of this failure.

19. Load Files into Photoshop Layers fails midway

    Quite often, loading files into layers fails partway through the selected files. In Photoshop, the successful layers are displayed but at the bottom of the Layers panel an empty 'Loading...' layer remains. The Windows task manager performance tab shows no disk activity. Seems to work for just 2 selected files, but fails randomly for more. It also seems to work if I select the files one-at-a-time, in sequence, but fails if a stack is selected or if first file selected and Shift+Click to select a contiguous range.     unable to import from sandisk reader CFexpress card reader
    Op system Mac 10.15.7 with all updates
    expected - card should be recognised by adobe bridge in get photos from camer or import from device downloader.

    Neither downloader will recognise CFexpress cards. Reader and card IS recognised in Mac finder and downloader works and recognises CFexpress cards in ON1 v 2021.5
    This is an Adobe problem please fix it as it has been reported many times and adobe bridge is now effectively useless for any cameras that use the CFexpress card format, including canon R5, new R3, Sony cameras and Nikon. This can't be good for Adobe brand if you can't recognise your own problem and fix it. ~ frustrated Adobe bridge user.
