1. bridge exporting

   when exporting with adobe bridge (from .PSD to .Jpeg), the photo turns waaaay darker and more contrasted even though the .PSD file is 100% accurate on the same screen.

2. date created metadata field has incorrect timezone for video files.

   The "Date Created" field for videos in the Metadata panel is off by 6 hours (same as my UTC offset) but that field is correct for photos taken at the same time. Windows Explorer shows the correct time for both. Is it possible that Bridge is somehow applying the current timezone offset from a photo it read just prior that contained GPS data in UTC time coordinates?

3. Bridge automatically applies lens correction in Filmstrip view

   Bridge automatically applies lens correction to all of my thumbnails when I view them. For example, when I have images that were taken with a fisheye lens, Bridge automatically corrects and flattens these images, which I do not want to happen (first example photo). The only workaround I have found is to select all of my images and open them in Camera Raw and unselect the "Use Profile Corrections" tab for all the images. This then writes an xmp file for every image which I do not want (second example photo). There should be an override of this correction that can be selected in preferences like older, offline versions (like CS6, the version I was previously using).

4. Bridge 2019 Cache building has many problems.

   Prior to Bridge 2019 it was possible to create multiple threads of the cache build on different folders. Now, in 2019, only one cache build thread can run. Also, pre-2019 Bridge allowed NOT exporting the cache. I have found in Bridge 2019 that if multiple clients export their cache to the same share point, then other client's cache is messed up and metadata doesn't appear for images. If there is a way to NOT export the cache, I haven't been able to find it. Please allow multiple, simultaneous cache builds from one client and also allow non-exported cache. Basically, just return the cache scheme that existed in prior Bridge versions. I see no advantage to the new cache architecture and plenty of disadvantages and problems. I have seen clients freeze building the cache and then crash repeatedly on import. Plus, it takes FAR longer to export cache and then import it than simply building the local cache. Basically, no work can be done for several days while the cache builds for a couple hundred thousand images.

5. Bridge slow, not reacting, bad performance since update

   Bridge 11.0.0.83 is slow, takes a long time to show thumbnails that are already in cache. Trying to open and view another folder makes bridge slow to the point that it's not responding.
   Not only the 100% previews, also embedded preview size.
   Before it was much better. A love Vridge but it needs to work better again.
   Win 10 64 bit.

6. Can't interrupt lengthy metadata search

   I started a lengthy content search (among 16,000 photos) for 'All Metadata contains "25" in "Photo Archive" and all subfolders'. When I realized the search was too broad, I tried repeatedly hitting the "Stop Search" button but I was unable to stop the search. I just get the rainbow cursor going around and around. I eventually had to force quit Bridge.

7. Bridge crashes on startup, v14.0.0.102

   Anyone have any ideas of how to fix Adobe Bridge? It crashes every time I open it, after I get a message that says "Error: ParseValue unexpected char".

   I've uninstalled and reinstalled, shut down and restarted, removed all preferences and any previous Bridge files, used older versions of the software, and tried everything in this post: "Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues".

   There's nothing about that error message online.

8. Bridge 2025 - Thumbnails Will Not Display

   Thumbnails no longer display after Bridge 2024 updated to Bridge 2025. Also when I try to open Bridge 2024 if displays Bridge 2024. I have deleted and reinstalled Bridge and the result was the same Thumbnails do not display.

9. Bridge 12.0.2 cannot read avif files properly

   Bridge should be able to read file type .avif properly. Windows Explorer can read them without any problems.

11. Unable to edit/save metdata template when custom metadata view.xml present

    Adobe Bridge CC 2021 11.0.0.83
    macOS 11.01 (also macOS 10.14 and 10.15)

    Reporting this as I cannot find any documentation that indicates this should not work.

    If I add a custom Metadata Extension view.xml that contains any of the following three Dublin Core properties I am unable to edit and save a metadata template.

    name="dc:creator"

    if data is already present in any of these when editing the template from the Tools menu an error dialog pops up reporting "The operation could not be completed" for the following actions:

    1. Editing the existing data and coming out of the property field (tab or clicking)
    2. Adding/editing data to any other property fields and clicking Save

    This error is reproducible using the Sample Extension provided as part of the Adobe XMP SDK.

    It seems to be View related as I can clear down any addtional schema definitions from the SDK example and leave only the custom View code containing these properties in the View.xml file.

    Conversely I can leave custom schema properties in the View.xml, removing the problematic ones and everything works as expected.

    Given the exampe provided by Adobe has one of these fields specifically shown as a custom view example I feel this should work as documented.

12. Image in Bridge is displaying 300ppi, in Photoshop it is 96ppi

    I have a PNG that is in Photoshop at 96ppi. When viewing it in bridge, the metadata states it is 300ppi.

13. preview - not updating in bridge after changes in camera RAW

    Latest update to try and fix the problem didn't help.
    Changes made in camera RAW used to update the preview of images in bridge.
    Now they do not.

    Would love to see accurate representations of the changes between the two programs, if anyone has figured this one out (august 2020 update) please let me know

14. hard crash (Bridge 12.0.2.252) converting images from NEF to JPG (Adobe Std) in Camera Raw 14.3

    when I open a folder in bridge, select raw (NEF) camera images, open them in Camera Raw, select all, select Adobe Standard color profile, and try to convert them to JPG, (Quality 12, same HDD) both Bridge and Camera Raw crash (silent exit) after about 100 images (seems to be able to do more like 1000 before crashing if Camera Raw stays in foreground - based on ~5 crashes and ~4600 images). I can view something resembling the following in the event log:

15. right click open in adobe bridge doasn't open the correct file

    I'm not enjoying the new layout of Essentials. When i right click on a file(in windows) and open in adobe bridge it will open the last thing i was working on and not the file if right clicked on like it has done for the last 15 years or so. Also when i delete a file its very unresponsive at going back to the next file. Or when i delete 2 images it won't go back at all untill i press an arrow key which isn't great for my workflow and slows me down.

16. Bridge 2021 Crashes When Entering Full Screen Mode

    When I press 'Spacebar' to view an image in Full Screen Mode, Bridge completely crashes. Interestingly, upon restarting the program, a crash error dialog box does not appear and Bridge opens to the folder I first opened the program in, not the last one. When opening audio and video files, Bridge didn't even try opening the file in Full Screen Mode. It was like I didn't press 'Spacebar.' It only tries entering Full Screen Mode with images, but it crashes when it attempts to do so. I hoped updating to v12.0.2 would fix it, but it didn't. Running Windows 10 Home, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5, 64-bit. Thank you for your help.

17. File name corruption

    I have a number of files with a "?" as a placeholder until I determine the genus and species of my photo's subject. The latin name is enclosed in parenthesis, so the filename temporarily includes the character string "(?)". When I drag files from Bridge's window to another folder inside Bridge or select "Move to" from the pop-up after right-clicking on the file's thumbnail, the filenames at the destination are truncated at the left parentheses. "Filename (?).psd" becomes "Filename (" with no extension. If there are files with the same name but different extensions, such as "Filename (?).jpg", Bridge wants to truncate the subsequent filenames and crates a conflict. Selecting "Replace" leaves only one file. Selecting "Auto Resolve" results in filenames of "Filename (" and "Filename ( (!)".

18. Bridge 13 is so damn slow...

    Afetr update work with Bridge is so slow and unresponsive. I had no issue on 12, and got pretty fast pc - 12 cores, 32GB RAM, system and Bridge install on nvme, also raw files on nvme, cache 100GB nvme, and still showing miniatures or browsing through pictures is very very slow and painfull.

19. Error when delete file

    I use Adobe suite on iMac and O.S. Catalina 10.15.1. I've upgraded Bridge to the latest version to 10.0 and every time I delete one or more files (RAW or JPG) it will give me the following error: ""An error occurred during the operation. It is possible that one or more files have not been processed."

20. No Preview in Bridge after last update

    After last update of Bridge NO Preview of files. NONE. Version 9.0.2.219. I'm paying every month. I want my functionality back.
