Bridge Slideshow captions show filename only
I'm using Bridge 14.1.0 on a Mac running Sonoma 14.4.1. I would like to display the Description metadata field in Slideshow captions. In Settings > Thumbnails I have specified "Show: Description" and I can see the Descriptions just fine in the Bridge window when I select "View > As Thumbnails". However when I play a Slideshow by going to "View > Slideshow Options..." and choosing "Caption: Full", I see only the filename, with blank space below it. In fact I am unable to display any other metadata at all.

Constant Crashing, Bridge 14.1.2.300
I now can't do anything with Adobe Bridge without it crashing. For example, just. opening the app and clicking on a favorites folder. I have reinstalled twice, once keeping preferences and once without. I'm running iOS 14.6.1
Bridge is unusable and this is very frustrating.

Date Modified and Date Created Errors
Help - when I edit a photo in ACR it changes the "Date Created" to be the same as the "date modified" so I'm unable then to sort the images by date created once they've been edited which throws them out of sequence. Not ideal for wedding editing. How do I stop this?

Preview panel doesn't scale low-res images
I'm using Bridge 15.0.0.397 on a Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1. The Preview panel should scale images up to fill the window, or at least have an option to allow for this. It is very frustrating to see a tiny image in the middle of a vast empty Preview panel (see attached screenshot). I have the same problem when previewing an image from the Content panel using the spacebar.

When viewing Fujifilm .raf raw files, the embedded preview is not shown correctly. It's shown as a corrupted bitmap. It's always necessary to generate a preview, slowing everything down. Please fix.

The file sorting is always changed automatically to "sort by File name"
The file sorting is always changed automatically to "sort by name" I have to reorder it every time I open it. Why doesn't it remember the old setting like Finder? Or why isn't there a permanent setting option?

Navigation: Subfolders will only show after restart
Newly created subfolders will not be displayed in the navigation/folder panel unless you perform a complete restart of Bridge. Since the required little subfolder ticks on the side are missing, it is not possible to access or drag and drop anything into the new subfolder without a restart.
The manual refresh button doesn't help either as it will only affect the image content panel, not the file structure/navigation itself. The best would be to automatically refresh both automatically without having to look for an extra button.

Export to PNG fails - BUG report
It's been bugging me for a while, but I just changed my computer and now have a really powerful machine. I thought it would resolve the issue, but apparently not.
So here goes.Amost all the time, when I want to batch export PNGs from files, it fails (see screenshot) it can happen with a whole selection of files, but also with just one. I noticed that whenever the files are on the biggest side, it will get worse. The error report says "unsupported format.
The same file(s) will have no issue being exported as TIFFs, or JPEGs, just not…1 vote -
custom metadata panel doesn't allow copy and paste
Using the Adobe Custom Metadata extension, you can't copy or paste text from fields like a bag or single text. You can select the text in the relevant field, but copy/paste acts on the selected image instead. This causes the user to duplicate images instead of trying to copy a metadata value from one image to others.
This massively reduces the useful of using the panel in conjunction with AEM or for any QA workflows.

Bridge crashes on startup, v14.0.0.102
Anyone have any ideas of how to fix Adobe Bridge? It crashes every time I open it, after I get a message that says "Error: ParseValue unexpected char".
I've uninstalled and reinstalled, shut down and restarted, removed all preferences and any previous Bridge files, used older versions of the software, and tried everything in this post: "Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues".
There's nothing about that error message online.

Color Profile: Untagged
Since the most recent update of Bridge 14.1.2 and now 14.1.3, Bridge is not reading the embedded color profile of any RAW files. The metadata shows them as Untagged, and if I try to open the RAW file with Bridge, Photoshop will not recognize it as a color image and open it in B&W. However, if I open a RAW file without using Bridge, directly to Photoshop, it opens correctly. I was hoping the update to 14.1.3 would fix the problem, but no luck. This has only been a problem for about two weeks, since the most recent version of…

Photoshop Script Turning JPGs Blue on Export
Version of Adobe Bridge
15.0.0.397Steps to reproduce the issues
Tools-->Photoshop-->Image Processor
Bridge asks to install Photoshop scriptOperating System
Window 11Expected result
JPGs should be as viewed on screenActual result
JPGS have a pale blue tintOptional- Upload your File or Video
This still happens even after I disable the script in Bridge.
This still happens even when I don't go through Bridge. Now when I export directly from Photoshop through "saves as," the image still has blue tint.
I have to reinstall Photoshop to get it back to working correctly (no blue tint).
