Error: "Generate pdf failed due to unknown reason"
Every time I try to output any number of files, I receive this message. I've tried creating a pdf with 1 and 12 images but neither seems to be working. Everything is up to date. Just a simple 2x2 pdf layout
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting the computer.
Anyone else having this issue and found a solution?

HW Acceleration Preview of CR2 RAW Files - Unable to pan when zoomed in
Setup:
Win11 Pro, 21H2
Adobe Bridge 12.0.3.270
NVidia GTX 1080, Studio Driver 516.94
Bridge HW Acceleration Preview EnabledWhen I preview Canon CR2 RAW Files, I zoom in to 100%, I then grab the image to move around (pan around) to a different portion of the zoomed in image, and the image snaps into random zoomed in portion of the image.
The problem doesn't occur in SW Rendering mode.
The problem doesn't occur with DNG or JPG exported version of the same CR2 file.

Metadata fails to populate (IPTC Core)
This isn't an "idea," it is something that is broke. I've spend several hours on two different days with chat support, and no one can figure out what is wrong. I have multiple images that I apply metadata templates - actually thousands of images in a wildlife photography application. I've been doing so for many years now. This recently quit working on all images that have been processed (RAW images). October 2022 Bridge Update -- scrolling issue (Windows 10)
After the most recent update in Windows 10 (10/21/22) scrolling in Bridge (version 13) now occurs in non-contiguous jumps (i.e., I can no longer scroll through a large image set and see a continuous flow of images). The scrolling action itself is smooth but no longer allows me to scroll through a block more than 10-20 images without skipping to a non-contiguous block of 10-20 images. Quite irritating!

Blocked access to 'Adobe Bridge Feedback' site.
Few days ago after I composed my comment and was about to submit it by a 'Post' button, I accidentally clicked it twice. From that unfortune occurrence any time I visit this site from that computer and the others (with similar IP) or just in the same network provider area I see big white page with only one word in upper left corner: 'Forbidden'.
When I open a site from my mobile phone (where for browsing internet I have other provider), or in my work (again served by other provider) all is okay.

Content Panel - Typing Won't Jump to File or Folder
Typing the name (or even the first letter) of the file or folder I want to jump to doesn't always work. It'll work once or twice, then stop working altogether.

Duplicated date under posts of user in his profile.
When you visit any user profile you find each post is signed with current date instead of the date of post creation:

Bridge show black line right (several pixels) when view video clips in preview.
When I start preview videoclip I see black line right side. This Line is not visible if do not start clip play. Also I checked all my video files - all other players show my files correct.

Unable to apply edits to metadata sometimes
Intermittent, unpredictable inability to add or apply edits to metadata fields such as IPTC Core using Adobe Bridge 12.0.2 and preceding 12.0.1.246 release. This is particularly unacceptable when editing metadata of multiple selected images. Worse yet, there is no error message generated! You must check file by file, metadata field by field, to see if the edit was applied. This seems to persist in certain image files but not others.
When only one file has metadata added or edited metadata, clicking the lower right corner “Apply” icon results in either:

Metadata File Properties: Application field Displays out of date information
The <Application> field in <File Properties> displays out of date information. If I update a file using PhotoShop Elements 2021 (PSE), the <File Info> field in PSE correctly shows that PSE updated the data. However the equivalent field in Bridge 2022 shows the previous application (ie, my camera). Both ACDSee and IrfanView correctly show that PSE updated the file. I use this field to recall what files have been updated and is therefore important. I may well continue with ACDSee instead.

Bridge fails to display thumbnails on Nikon and Canon raw files
Latest version of 12.0.3.275 fails to display thumbnails of Nikon's NEF, Canon CR2, CR3 raw files. However, it has no issue in displaying JPEG files.
It has been revealed, after this case reported to Australian Customer Support that its previous version 12.0.3 does not have the same issue. It displays all raw and JPEG files. I now have to roll back to previous version and wait until this problem is fixed.
I believe this issue is a serious matter that could affect your Nikon and Canon photographer community who use Bridge as a browser on their images before they access…

Camer Raw Auto Exposure ONLY
I'm trying to create a preset in ACR that will use the Auto tone adjustments on the Exposure slider ONLY.
In the Create Preset settings, I unticked all the options except for the "Exposure" check box and the "Apply Auto Tone Adjustments" box.
However, when I use this preset on images it changes ALL the sliders in the "Basic" section, and not just the Exposure ONLY. How come?? And is there a way to do the exposure only? If not, why not?

Image in Bridge is displaying 300ppi, in Photoshop it is 96ppi
I have a PNG that is in Photoshop at 96ppi. When viewing it in bridge, the metadata states it is 300ppi.

Adobe Bride 2022 batch rename
Batch rename is just grayed out. I can't click it. I've given permissions, I've done the reset/purge game. Just simply grayed out. Any ideas?
Or otherwise, any other programs that people use to do this same feature? I'm not married to Bridge and I'm sure some other thing would be less buggy than the hell that is Adobe.

Bridge freezing when there is a non-accessible (smb) remote share pinned on favorite panel (but found a way to avoid it)
1) I added a path to a remote synology NAS share on favorite panel. This share is only reachable when i'm at the office
2) if it's non reachable (when i'm home), every time i symply make a click on a picture, it totally freezes Bridge (12.0.3.70) for about 10/15 seconds
3) I removed this share from the favorite panel, and everything works now fluently.1 vote -
Can't open bridge in macOSMOnterey. Immediately crashes with error code 205
I cannot open or use bridge at all since purchsasing my new macBookPro with osMonterey 12.4. I have reinstalled several times, tried a prior version, reset preferences and nothing works and the app is useless making it impossible to use camera raw. I'm very frustrated that there has been no help for this.

video preview locks, won't stop playing, user cannot deselect.
When previewing a video the player may make the current video 'undeselectable', it will no release the video. If I pause playback the video pause for a few seconds, then begin playing again, sometimes at a faster speed. The controls become meaningless at this point. When it 'self-starts' after the pause, the button icon does not switch from play to pause, it stays as play. It will change each time you click it after this, but plays regardless. The only way escape this loop is to wait for the video to reach the end, then select another item, or move…

Grayscale image distorted inside Bridge Thumbnail
Just updated Bridge to 12.0.3.270.
Saved out a PSD from Adobe Illustrator as Grayscale.
The thumbnail was distorted. Tried to copy past. Same thing.
Changed to RGB. Cleared up.1 vote
