1. HW Acceleration Preview of CR2 RAW Files - Unable to pan when zoomed in

   Setup:
   Win11 Pro, 21H2
   Adobe Bridge 12.0.3.270
   NVidia GTX 1080, Studio Driver 516.94
   Bridge HW Acceleration Preview Enabled

   When I preview Canon CR2 RAW Files, I zoom in to 100%, I then grab the image to move around (pan around) to a different portion of the zoomed in image, and the image snaps into random zoomed in portion of the image.

   The problem doesn't occur in SW Rendering mode.

   The problem doesn't occur with DNG or JPG exported version of the same CR2 file.

2. Loading thumbnails from network share is much slower in version 12.0.3.270

   Since updating t version 12.0.3.270 opening a folder and loadding thumnails from a network share is much, much slower. It takes 5-10 seconds before any thumb is shown, even if the directory contains only a few (less than 10) images.

3. Batch Rename is deleting files

   This just started today. When I select files and do a batch-rename, they disappear. It will not undo. I shut down and restarted my computer, and I un-installed and re-installed Bridge, but the problem persists.

   Mac Powerbook running 12.5, Bridge 12.0.2.252

4. I want to edit mov/mp4 files exif (XMP)

   Can I edit with Adobe Bridge following informations?
   XMP-dc:Description, XMP-dc:Title, XMP-iptcExt:PersonInImage, XMP-iptcExt:ModelAge, XMP-photoshop:City, XMP-photoshop:State
   I could edit these with Adobe Bridge 2018, but not Adobe Bridge 2022.
   If I should set some config or install some plugin or create plugin script, I would do.

5. Bridge 2022 Batch Rename Bug on Mac

   I cannot batch rename on my mac. Running Mac OS Monterey. Very frustrating.
   It worked for me the very first time I tried it and then stopped working. I have tried to restart the app a couple of times and sometimes the files get messed up completely. Good job I have yet to delete my files on my data card.

7. files are deleted when "move to" is cancelled

   I've seen this bug posted 3 other times and in the 6 years since hit was first reported it hasn't been fixed.

   I was moving photos from a memory card to my computer when I noticed I had selected the wrong folder. when I cancelled the operation the photos were no longer in the folder nor on the memory card anymore.

8. Bridge automatically applies lens correction in Filmstrip view

   Bridge automatically applies lens correction to all of my thumbnails when I view them. For example, when I have images that were taken with a fisheye lens, Bridge automatically corrects and flattens these images, which I do not want to happen (first example photo). The only workaround I have found is to select all of my images and open them in Camera Raw and unselect the "Use Profile Corrections" tab for all the images. This then writes an xmp file for every image which I do not want (second example photo). There should be an override of this correction that can be selected in preferences like older, offline versions (like CS6, the version I was previously using).

9. Metadata File Properties: Application field Displays out of date information

   The <Application> field in <File Properties> displays out of date information. If I update a file using PhotoShop Elements 2021 (PSE), the <File Info> field in PSE correctly shows that PSE updated the data. However the equivalent field in Bridge 2022 shows the previous application (ie, my camera). Both ACDSee and IrfanView correctly show that PSE updated the file. I use this field to recall what files have been updated and is therefore important. I may well continue with ACDSee instead.

10. Bridge won't recognise DNG files recently imported

    As per below png, this just started today. Still able to open files from its location into Camera Raw, just not via Bridge.
    Files from previous sessions are still opening in Bridge.
    Just updated to latest version with no change. Still won't work.
    I notice there have been quite a few posts about this over the years, without one single working answer to this problem!!

11. Adobe Bride 2022 batch rename

    Batch rename is just grayed out. I can't click it. I've given permissions, I've done the reset/purge game. Just simply grayed out. Any ideas?

    Or otherwise, any other programs that people use to do this same feature? I'm not married to Bridge and I'm sure some other thing would be less buggy than the hell that is Adobe.

12. Can't open bridge in macOSMOnterey. Immediately crashes with error code 205

    I cannot open or use bridge at all since purchsasing my new macBookPro with osMonterey 12.4. I have reinstalled several times, tried a prior version, reset preferences and nothing works and the app is useless making it impossible to use camera raw. I'm very frustrated that there has been no help for this.

13. SD card folders locked in bridge

    Occasionally my SD card folders show a little padlock when opened in Bridge. If they are, I'm unable to move/delete/rate any of the files within the folders. I can copy them to my hard drive, but even the copied can't be moved, deleted, or rated. I've been able to work around it by selecting all of the files and purging the cache for them via Bridge, but this is very time consuming and annoying. The files are not 'locked' when copied or viewed in Windows Explorer, nor is the card itself locked or protected in any way. Same card, same card reader, and both the card and my PC have been reformatted to no avail.

14. Photo Downloader "device is not connected or is busy" when deleting from iPhone

    Each time I try to download and delete images from my iPhone using the "Advanced Dialog," it downloads the images but then reports "Device is not connected or is busy" when trying to delete them.

    I believe the issue is that the downloader is still trying to read from the device in order to populate the thumbnails in the advanced dialog. If I wait for the dialog to populate all of the thumbnails, the error does not occur. However, on a device with 1000s of images, it can take a very long time to populate the thumbnails.

    The error does not occur when using the standard dialog, but that dialog forces user to download all images (i.e. no option for selective downloads).

15. Batch rename works incorrectly if there is a dot '.' in the new filename

    Heads Up: To avoid this error don't define new filenames that contain a dot.

    In Bridge Batch Rename, if I choose to use a new filename that has a dot in it (e.g. name1.name2_unique-identifier) then the RAW files lose their extension and the JPEG files are named differently, see typical results below:

    For the JPG's: name1.JPG, name1(1).JPG, name1(2).JPG etc.
    For the ARW's: name1.name2_unique-identifier etc. i.e. NO ARW extension.

    This destroys the association between out of camera RAW and JPG.

    REMEDY: With a bit of care the batch rename can be used again (once for the RAW and once for the JPG) to alter the naming, restore the .ARW to (just) the RAW files and restore the association by using the EXIF info. But it's fiddly.

16. Unable to open Bridge

    I purchased a new MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey and have migrated my files and Creative Cloud and I cannot open Bridge. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge several times. I have deleted preferences. I have allowed read write preferences for all users and none of these solutions from the forums has worked.

17. Switching Workspaces

    This didn't used to happen to me before but when I switch back to my default workspace, it makes the thumbnails super tiny and changes the size of my bridge window and some other characteristics. I've tried to save it the way I want it under different names and it never works.

20. hard crash (Bridge 12.0.2.252) converting images from NEF to JPG (Adobe Std) in Camera Raw 14.3

    when I open a folder in bridge, select raw (NEF) camera images, open them in Camera Raw, select all, select Adobe Standard color profile, and try to convert them to JPG, (Quality 12, same HDD) both Bridge and Camera Raw crash (silent exit) after about 100 images (seems to be able to do more like 1000 before crashing if Camera Raw stays in foreground - based on ~5 crashes and ~4600 images).
