1. "spinning wheel of death" when opening or modifying a folder of images

   I get the famous "spinning wheel of death" when opening or modifying a folder of images, and it is OBSCENELY CPU INTENSIVE, so much so that Bridge becomes unusable for minutes at a time. When are you going to fix this?

2. Photo Downloader does not "Delete Original Files" with CF-Express memory cards

   Photo Downloader now recognizes media on my new CF-Express card readers but cannot "Delete Original Files" when this is selected under the Advanced Options after copying and renaming my media to a folder on my computer. All media is copied and renamed, but not deleted.

   At the moment Photo Downloader should delete the media files on the memory card, it then crashes and exits without the normal, further notices as "everything is deleted" and ok to close Photo Down Loader.

   BTW, initially newly added Progrades PG 05.5 and/or PG 05.6 CF-Express card readers were not recognized by Bridge/Photo Downloader; the remedy is an un-install and then re-install of Brdige to get them all recognized.

   System setup:
   - Windows 11 Pro 22h2 22621.2283
   - Bridge + Photo Downloader 14.0.0.104

3. Photo Downloader does not recognize new memory card readers + my remedy to get it working somehow

   Added new Prograde PG05.5 and/or PG05.6 CFExpress B memory card readers to my Windows system, but Photo Downloaders would not recognize the card readers, nor the new removable volumes (as in does not show up as selectable in Photo Downloader).

   The workaround I've found is:
   - Install & configure your CF-Express card readers (Bridge does not recognize them)
   - Remove Bridge (but keep your settings!)
   - Install Bridge again (Bridge does now recognize the card-readers)

   Photo Downloader now shows the available card readers and you can use it to get your media!

   Additinional notes:
   - I want to use specific driveletters for my different card readers, so I manually assign those to specific card-readers and memory cards. Maybe already known to the community, but Windows 11 assign the driveletter to a specific memory for CF-Express Cards (!), regardless the card reader you use. E.g. I assigned driveletter N: to a specific CFExpress card; that driveletter is then used regardless the card-reader I use (I have two different CF-Express card readers I use....). This is different behaviour then SD, SXDC and XQD memory cards readers that have the driveletter assigned to the card reader (and not like a CFExpress memory card).
   - Before reinstalling Bridge as the workaround, make sure you setup/install/configure all you card-readers and disk configurations in Windows first. I noticed Bridge recognizes all the memory card configs during its re-installation.
   - This workaround may work with previous Bridge versions as well.....
   - For similar issues on iMac I do not know if this workaround may work as well (I do not have any iMac experience....). Leave a remark if this works for you on an iMac
   - Although I now can use Photo Downloader to get and rename my media from CFExpress cards, the option to "Delete Original Files" does not work. Photo Downloader will then stop and exit; media is still on memory card but it has copied and renamed all media to a folder on my computer.

   My system:
   - Windows 11 Pro 22H2
   - Bridge + Photo Downloader 14.0.0.104

   After initial post I've made several edits and additions for more clarification of my findings.

4. Camera Raw functions buttons not visible when opening large number of files

   When opening large numbers of RAW (CR2) files (for batch converting into JPG), most functions / buttons are not visible. I have to blindfolded find the Export button, and the window that opens looks the same, with only a few lines and letters visible.

5. Pathbar sort by drop down doesn't consistently drop down as of 14.0.0.102

   You can click to highlight it but it doesn't actually dropdown most of the time. Repeated clicking eventually can get it to work but it's super inconsistent.

6. Export sized images without metadata doesn't work | Bridge Beta 14.0.0.102 Mac

   I am using the beta version of Bridge now (14.0.0.102) and still the metadata is stored in the file as soon as you use the 'resize to' function. Is doesn't matter if you set the 'Include Original Metadata' option to 'Copyright only'.
   A bit dissapointed that Adobe didn't fix this in all those years. For me this is a reason to still not use Bridge on a day by day basis.

8. Sorting by dimensions broken

   Sorting by dimensions is broken. I have a number of images that are greater than 4000x4000 px and they are placed at the end of the list of files when I have them sorted from largest to smallest dimensions. They are placed at the end directly behind ones that are 1080x1080 px.

   In the screenshots attached, you can see the file beginning "896..." is 1080x1080. The following photo beginning with "739..." is 4309x4341. The rest of the images to the right are just as large however they are placed at the end where it should be the smallest images. I can record a video of the sorting if more file info is needed.

   I think this is a rather important feature to be reliable for anyone needing to find the largest images in a sea of photos.

9. Traitement par lots

   La fenêtre de Traitement par lots reste au premier plan lors du traitement et l'utilisation de bridge par exemple. Après plusieurs secondes de traitement, le traitement par lot est terminé mais la fenêtre pop up reste à l'écran et au premier plan, elle est vide. Le traitement par lots s'est bien passé mais impossible de fermer cette petite fenêtre.

11. Timestamps change when moving files between drives

    In Windows 11, when moving files between drives/partitions within Bridge, the Created Date system timestamp gets changed to the current time.

    This does not happen when moving files between drives within Windows Explorer, although it did in previous versions of Windows (not sure about Windows 10).

12. Opening a couple of DNG's as layers in a PS file doesn't work

    In Bridge you have under the tools menu the possibility to layer several dng files in one document. For instance to realign . In the newest version it doesn't work anymore.

13. spacebar preview 14.0.0.102 fails most of the time on second screen

    Since the latest update the spacebar preview usually fails on my second screen. Seems fine on the hi-dpi main screen, but the lo-dpi you just get a blank screen 90% of the time. Weirdly does work very occasionally. No obvious pattern.

    The list of metadata attributes doesn't show up, therefore I can't select and add e.g. Author/Copyright information.

15. ファイルリネーム時の旧名ファイルと新名ファイルのキャッシュ書き込みについて。

    Mac os12.6.8　macbookpro2017

    ファイルのリネーム時。旧名ファイルと新名ファイルが同時に生成され大量のデータ処理時にパソコンのフリーズやメモリに多大な負荷が発生している。

    以前は旧名ファイルは表示されなくスムーズに処理されていたが。5000枚の写真データのリネームが、一瞬にして10000枚のデータ処理が必要になる今の状況は狂っている。

    以前の状態に戻してほしい。

16. Handling of multiple raw files prompts error.

    Bridge 2024 : Double click a raw file (.NEF) and it opens in ACR. Choose 1 or more NEFs, then choose Open in Camera Raw, you get 'A suitable app is not installed'. Choose Open in Photoshop, PS is opened than all are opened in ACR.

    The expected behavior is that all raw files can be opened in ACR via Bridge w/o PS being opened, as in the past.

17. JPEG files following RAW files in transfers after edits

    I've mentioned this several times before, but with every update there is never any action on the issue.

    My daily workflow involves opening a RAW photo (CR3 file in my case) from Bridge into Adobe Camera Raw, and then I edit that RAW photo in ACR. I then save the edit as a JPEG.

    Then, when I go into Adobe Bridge and transfer the RAW file to another folder, without highlighting the JPEG file, it will transfer both files to the other folder. Wherever the RAW file goes, the JPEG edit follows. Whether I like it or not.

    Super frustrating, and doubles my workflow every time, having to go and retrieve the JPEG file from external folders to bring it back to where it should be.

    This was never an issue in previous versions of Bridge/ACR, and only seemed to start happening a few years ago. And despite promises from support staff that this would be fixed several years ago, the issue remains, and frustrates.

    When will this bug be fixed?

18. Unable to Close/Undock Content Panel in Bridge

    Unable to Close or Undock the Content Panel. As such unable to move the Content Panel to a secondary monitor. This affects the Preview Panel as it can be moved but retains the dimensions of the smaller monitor after you move it.

19. Bridge 2023 "Move to" often fails execute move

    When selecting a single or multiple items in Bridge, right-clicking, and selecting the "Move to" function to move the item(s) to another folder, the "Move to" command fails to function after selecting the destination. There is no action at all.

    This behavior is intermittent sometime implementing "Move to" sometimes not. No correlation with other actions has been noted when to "Move to" command fails to execute.
