Can't Copy&Paste or Move Adobe Bridge 2020 picture files from one Folder to a different folder in Windows 10
There can be NOTHING more frustrating than this - - - - - impossible to move one picture file from A to B even before and after manipulation in Adobe Bridge and Photoshop and IMPOSSIBLE to rename the original Canon picture filename with a simple ABC123 etc.

I want to change the file names of several selected files with the "Batch Rename" tool.
Unfortunately, after selecting the command "Menu: Tools - Batch Rename", the programme shows no reaction (the usual editing window does not open) and then immediately closes completely.
Please kindly ask for this error to be corrected. Thank you.

Bridge is bugged as hell. It crashes very often after I change ratings or I come back from photoshop.
The new panel interface is not only USELESS but introduced lags bejond human acceptability limits. Up to 3 seconds for thumbnail filter and update operation. Microsoft explorer is way faster
I had already to buy a third party software (photomecanic) for culling photos because your software is too slow while previewing CR3 files.
Since the last update the duplicate file previews bug is back. I get multiple icons for the same file in the folder.

Open in bridge only works one time per session
it seems that even after our 2 hour long meeting of all the bugs and things adobe needs to address they still do not care.2 votes
When I press 'Spacebar' to view an image in Full Screen Mode, Bridge completely crashes. Interestingly, upon restarting the program, a crash error dialog box does not appear and Bridge opens to the folder I first opened the program in, not the last one. When opening audio and video files, Bridge didn't even try opening the file in Full Screen Mode. It was like I didn't press 'Spacebar.' It only tries entering Full Screen Mode with images, but it crashes when it attempts to do so. I hoped updating to v12.0.2 would fix it, but it didn't. Running Windows 10…2 votes
When trying to change a keyword in a PDF, Bridge goes to 100 % CPU and eventually crashes. Have tested on both M1 and Intel CPU. Version 220.127.116.112 votes
Bridge crashes when I open files from Bridge to Camera Raw (command+R).
It's really annoying. And everything is slower than before.2 votes
Bridge 18.104.22.168, ACR always updated (now 22.214.171.1248) on Win10/64 updated, Italian loc.
- open a raw (CR2) file, start working on it with ACR, zoom, patch, zoom in or out, patch something, use circular or gradient filters, zoom, patch ... CRASH. Expected result: working as long as needed on a single or multiple files without crashing NOR slow operations. I perfectly remember it wasn't slow.
Actual result: S-L-O-W , crash, no work saved, bridge loses the directory position. I have to restart. I thought it would be an hardware error. It's not! Everything worked before.
This since last CC update.
For the past month or so, when working in bridge, either viewing thumbnails, in full screen preview, moving files, etc, it freezes. I cannot make anything in the software work, sometimes for over a minute and sometimes I have to use task manager to close. I have version 126.96.36.199 on a pc.2 votes

HI! I NEED URGENT HELP.
Bridge just vanished with my back up files from my last job.
I made a copy of it in the organization process, and it shown me a error message when I told bridge to replace these same files back there.
After clicking "OK" the hole original backup folder what gone, taking all the files I send to replace with it.
It is not on trash nor anywhere else in my computer.
Thus file replacement error deleted both copies.2 votes
Bridge 2021 doesn’t open or takes a very long time to open on iMac. If it opens at all, Bridge freezes or crashes completely as soon as any photo is selected. Occasionally it will continue, but then freezes on the second photo.2 votes
Video files create on iPhone - HEVC format - cause Bridge 2021 to hang when that file is selected, or among a group of files selected. dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe may be part of the culprit in that trying to move a HEVC file after Bridge 2021 hangs results in a 'file busy' response from Windows. Killing the dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe process frees up the file(s). Bridge 2020 does not have this issue. This happens on multiple machines and I suspect should be easy to repeat.2 votes
I posted a while back when the new 2018/2019 Bridge came out in November. It was full of bugs for us from slow loading to crashing, etc. Now although the load seems to have picked up speed, I'm getting random crashes. We avoid Lightroom as it doesn't fit our Journalistic workflow, but Bridge isn't helping matters when we are trying to sort, tag and rename and it locks up.

Bridge CC 2019 Crashes on Full Screen "Space Bar" preview on macOS Mojave. All system programs shut down and I am sent back to the log in window. No crash report is generated.2 votes
After updating to Bridge 2019 the white message box started appearing when launching Bridge (attached screenshot). It appears for several seconds and I have to wait eveytime for it to go. If I close the message Bridge closes entirely.2 votes
We released a fix for this. Please let us know if this resolved for you. Thanks.
Writing metadata to files on a Windows share (XMP interface or star ratings/labels) freezes Bridge on Mac OS
Setup: Windows Server 2012r2 shares, using Bridge with MacOS Mojave (latest versions of each).
Writing any type of metadata to some file types on our Windows Server 2012r2 shares causes Bridge to freeze. Unfortunately .indd files are one example and the labelling of them is central to our workflow. It starts responding again eventually but each write takes around a minute (and this is over a fast network - mixed 10gbe/1gbe, reads/writes of huge video files get thrown around on here with no problem).
It also freezes InDesign (though not Photoshop, Chrome, etc.) and won't all you to browse other…2 votes
