   Hello
   I want to zoom more precisely in Adobe Bridge
   Zooms are only done in increments of 100%
   I don't want to zoom in 100% slices but a PROGRESSIVE ZOOM like 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% ....
   Can you do something for Adobe Brige and improve this functionality which is most important for image viewing software.
   And in the parameters there is no option to choose what type of zoom you want to do.
   We should have a choice.

4. Adobe bridge image flickering

   Hi there.
   I am using mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.6 and Adobe Bridge Version 10.1.1.166
   All the time I view images in full screen preview they start blinking/flickering. Its v frustrating.
   Sometimes they don't blink but pretty much every session.

   Hope you can help to resolve.

5. Revert to previous interface

   How can I revert to the previous interface in Camera RAW?
   The new one stacks all the edit items one above the other, and the panels don't close when a new one is selected. In no time you have a disorganised mess down the the RHS. You have to keep using the slider to get where you want to get to which is slower and inconvenient. Everything gets all cramped up and you have to close the panels yourself, rather than simply switching.
   
   Previously you just clicked with the pen on a facitity (basic, detail colour etc). The panel opened, you used it, and then clicked on the next, one shut, the next one opened. You can't use more than one panel at a time anyway.
   This is clumsy, slow and badly thought out.
   Can we have a revert option in preferences please?

6. Bridge Photo Downloader

   Using a Canon EOS 1DX Mk III camera, with Adobe Bridge v10.0.4.157, I am unable to download my images from a Sandisk 64gb CFExpress card via a Sandisk CFExpress card reader to an iMac Pro (macos Catalina) using my usual workflow of Bridge > Bridge Photo Downloader > Get Photos From Camera. The Downloader responds with 'No Device Found'.

   I have confirmed the following:

   The Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader does not recognise the CFExpress card in the Sandisk CFExpress card reader regardless of whether the card contains .CR3 or .CR2 files. Also, both .CR3 files and .CR2 files on a CFast card placed in a Lexar CFast card reader are downloaded by Bridge Photo Downloader. So the problem does not relate to the file type
   .
   The Sandisk CFExpress card reader hardware, with the CFExpress card inserted, is recognised by my computer (Applications >Utilities >System Information > Hardware >USB) as 'Sandisk SDDR-F451' which is also shown on the reverse side of the card reader. So the computer sees the CFExpress card reader.

   The CFExpress card appears in the Finder as a mounted disk (EOS_Digital). So the computer sees the CFExpress card.

   With the the CFExpress card mounted in the Finder as an EOSDigital disk the images on the card are available (EOSDigital >DCIM >100EOS1D > _W1I0451.CR3 etc) and may be directly transferred by drag and drop onto the computer desktop or into an appropriate folder.

   If the camera, containing the Sandisk CFExpress card is attached directly to the computer via a USB3.1 cable, the images on the card can be transferred using Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader into a pre- selected folder.  So Adobe Bridge recognises the image files on the CFExpress card in the camera but not in the CFExpress Sandisk card reader.

   In System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy both Bridge and Photoshop have Full Disk Access. With respect to the .CR3 images on the CFExpress card, File > Get Info > Sharing & Permissions shows that “You can read and write” but with  the mounted EOSDigital disk in the Finder the permission is “You have custom access”.  I have been unable to obtain a satisfactory definition of what this statement means.  I have considered changing the access  permission for EOSDigital to “Read and write”  but I am unsure of the precise information to input into the Computer Terminal. 

   In Finder > Applications > Disk Utility, the SANDISK SDDR-F451 Media card reader is formatted with MAC OS Extended (Journaled) whereas the EOS_DGITAL card within the card reader is formatted with ExFat.  Accordingly, I reformatted the card in Disk Utility to MAC OS Extended (Journaled).  As anticipated the card did not function in this format.  I reformatted it back to ExFat and the card again functions appropriately; but it still shows 'No Device Found' in Adobe Photo Downloader.

   I have contacted Sandisk. Sandisk said:

   ”Thank you for the patience while checking this matter with our engineering team. Following the escalation of your case,  I would like to reconfirm as I have informed before, that this is an issue with the software and not with the reader, as the reader is working, however not working in the software.In this case, please be so kind to contact Adobe for further assistance.  Thank you for your cooperation and for your understanding, also for allowing us to be of service to you!”

   I have asked the Bridge Support Community for help but the issue remains unresolved

   As a result of this fault with the Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader, I am forced with each download manually to generate a new dated folder for the images. This is not satisfactory.

7. reduce padding around folders and center the titles like in Bridge 2018

   Please remove the enormous padding around the folders and re-center the titles of each folder and image as in Bridge 2018. Simply incomprehensible why all titles are now aligned left which results in things like this:

8. Adobe Bridge 2020 does not delete .XMP files

   Adobe Bridge 2020.
   The associated .XMP files are not deleted in Bridge 2020, this works fine in Bridge 2019.

   Operating system: MacOS Catalina

   This is a big problem, nobody wants to have thousands of useless files hanging around all over the place in the computer.

9. Create PDF from Bridge

   Hi. With all the integration being built between apps, it would be great to be able to "quick-export" a PDF of an indesign / illustrator file (any file for that matter), from within bridge, without having to open a file within it's application and run PDF exports.

10. Please add option to show photos in two folders side-by-side

    Please add option to show photos in two folders side-by-side (similar to Aperture). This would be a very valuable feature where users could compare contents of two folders and even move photos between folders. All other panels could apply to both folders (filtering, metadata, etc.). Having two views side by side would be the greatest additional feature to Bridge!

12. Better batch rename sequence numbers

    When for example a batch rename sequence number of 1 digit is selected, if there are more than 10 photos, it repeats the sequence numbering 1-10 (or 0-9 or 1-9, whatever it is). I suggest that rather than doing this, it should simply move on to the next number. So if there were 20 photos, the sequence numbers would be 1-20. If you told it 2 digits, they would be 01-20. I.e. the number of digits specified is a LOWER LIMIT, but the actual number of digits used ought to be as many as necessary to provide a unique sequence number to each renamed file.

13. Meta Data for Dimension for Print files

    MetaData for Adobe Print Programs like Acrobat, Illustrator and InDesign.

    Currently Bridge displays Pixel Dimensions for Web developers only.

    It would be astronomically better if we could see Inches and or centimetres (depending on what the file was saved as)

    you could make it even better still when programs like illustrator have more than 1 work art board. Just like previewing each art board in the preview pane, we should be able to see the dimensions change for each as well.

    Moreover, if a poster is 24" x 36" the metadata should provide still the image contained info like 200 dpi, 4800px x 7200px, (this is NICE to know) but more importantly, it should say 24" x 36" as the size of the art board, first and foremost.

15. "Open with…" option

    I would like to request the addition of an "Open with…" whereby I can open a RAW file (say a NEF) in another Raw converter and do the develop / process in this app. Then save say in TIFF and return to the Adobe environment, to continue work on this externally converted file.

    In the case of a NEF I would (in an ideal world) "Open with…" Nikon ViewNXi/ Capture NX-D, do the Raw conversion, then export a TIFF back to Lightroom/ Bridge.

16. Input field is no longer active by default in a search (Cmd + F)

    Problem detected with the Adobe Bridge 2023 version on Mac

    When you launch a search (Cmd + F on Mac), the input field is no longer active by default (I don't know if the problem exists with Windows, maybe some of you can confirm it).
    You have to click in the field to paste your text. This is a waste of time compared to previous versions if you do a lot of copy and paste searches.

    To the Adobe Bridge team:
    Can you re-enable the default focus on the search field? Thanks!

17. Change it back...

    Change the alphabet back so that the ~ is up top. You screwed up the way all my files are organized. File Explorer and Bridge's alphabet used to match but you decided, once again, that you know better and changed it. Change it back.

    Change it back to where I can have mulitple windows open. Who does it help to have tabs?! If I wanted tabs I would have used them when they existed before. I don't want that, it seems a lot of others don't either. I want multiple windows. I'm moving files around from folder to folder all day, and it's eaiser to click and drag. Sometimes I have to be looking in mulitple locations scattered throughout years and years of files, and mulitple tabs doesn't allow me to see everything all at once like windows did. Just-- why did you even change that? Change it back!

    Also- smaller issue, why is the top bar of the screen white now and not black like before....please don't --- please just change it back...
    I WOULD just go back in updates, because this one is awful, but if I do that - Photoshop yells at me that bridge is out of date, and Illustrator doesn't like that bridge is out of date every time I open something, and the popup notification is what made me update in the first place. Just change it back.

    Stop changing stuff that isn't an issue.
    Stop messing with features that work fine.

    Instead, focus on fixing the stupid bug that Illustrator has had for the past 3 or 4 updates where sometimes the save window just-- doesn't load all the way and now I can't save anything. Fix that, leave bridge alone. :)

    I would say it's time to unify the zoom functions and have them stay the same across all Adobe photo editing platforms.

    The zoom shortcuts keep changing from update to update and platform to platform. This makes workflow clumsy while editing single photos, wether it's Lightroom, CameraRaw or Photoshop.

    We need a steady shortcut for 100% and fit for screen, and we need a seamless target zoom, like the one in Raw at the moment (shift/command+/space+mouse).

    The functions also can't change between CameraRaw's Edit-window and Masking-window.

    I suggest the following:
    command+0 = fit for screen
    option+command+0 = 100%
    option+command+mouse drag on picture = targeted seamless zoom 1%-800%

20. Bridge 2022 is painfully slow to open Thumbnails

    I updated now Bridge 2022 is really slow to open thumbnails. Please do not release software that does this to your users. Increase the number QA you or go back to releasing the Beta first to a select group. How do you fix it?
