  1. Add full support of WebP format to Bridge

    "File Info..." is grayed out for WebP files. This means that Bridge doesn't support writing metadata to WebP files.

    This would be an important feature for me because right now ratings and labels aren't written to the WebP files and therefore don't propagate properly through our studio setting.

    WebP has become the de facto new standard on the web and as such should be full supported by Bridge.

    At the moment WebP is also missing as an option in Workflow under "Change format". Please add it there.

  2. Bridge 2022 is painfully slow to open Thumbnails

    I updated now Bridge 2022 is really slow to open thumbnails. Please do not release software that does this to your users. Increase the number QA you or go back to releasing the Beta first to a select group. How do you fix it?

    Hello
    I want to zoom more precisely in Adobe Bridge
    Zooms are only done in increments of 100%
    I don't want to zoom in 100% slices but a PROGRESSIVE ZOOM like 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% ....
    Can you do something for Adobe Brige and improve this functionality which is most important for image viewing software.
    And in the parameters there is no option to choose what type of zoom you want to do.
    We should have a choice.

  4. Camera raw new crop tool behavior

    Please return the old crop tool behavior or let the user decide in settings how we want it.
    Before the crop was set to default when switching to next photo (no aspect ratio) now, when I crop with any aspect ratio in one photo and go to next photo the "remain aspect ratio" stays turned on (with full photo aspect ratio) and need to be manually switched off or set to different ratio if wanted.
    Personally I also don't like the current moving photo instead of the crop area with mouse and the behavior like the crop always stays in…

  5. Customize Keysettings

    There should be an option to customize the shortcuts on the keyboard like in the other Adobe Programs. The main reason for me is actually "cmd + z". Elsewhere you're going one step backwards but in Bridge its changing the Viewport.

  6. Support for 3rd party cloud folders

    Support for browsing assets on 3rd party cloud [only (non-synced)] storage eg. Box, Dropbox, iCloud drive, Google drive, one drive, etc.

  7. Better batch rename sequence numbers

    When for example a batch rename sequence number of 1 digit is selected, if there are more than 10 photos, it repeats the sequence numbering 1-10 (or 0-9 or 1-9, whatever it is). I suggest that rather than doing this, it should simply move on to the next number. So if there were 20 photos, the sequence numbers would be 1-20. If you told it 2 digits, they would be 01-20. I.e. the number of digits specified is a LOWER LIMIT, but the actual number of digits used ought to be as many as necessary to provide a unique sequence…

  8. View InDesign thumbnails as spreads

    Many, many iterations ago, Bridge used to give you thumbnail of the whole opening spread for an InDesign document - which was brilliant for getting a rough overview of your mag. Somewhere around the time alternate layouts was added to InD though we got switched to just the opening page which isn't nearly as helpful. Can we have the (very) old system back?

  9. Photo Downloader doesn't have an option to skip files that have already been downloaded on previous runs.

    Would love to have a tick-box to enable/disable this.

  10. Restore Open new Window

    Bridge 13 is 100% useless to me without the decades old Open New Window function - ⌘N.

    I can't imagine who one earth thought removing that was a good idea. Tabs are an OK addition, but Tabs does not replace new window. Thousands of loyal users have Open New Window in their workflows. There is no reasonable reason to remove that function.

    There are hundreds of logged bug reports and feature requests to restore Open New Window. Not yet restoring ⌘N (as of 13.03) feels very much like whomever at Adobe is in charge of deciding everything is intent on…

  11. Unified zoom functions

    I would say it's time to unify the zoom functions and have them stay the same across all Adobe photo editing platforms.

    The zoom shortcuts keep changing from update to update and platform to platform. This makes workflow clumsy while editing single photos, wether it's Lightroom, CameraRaw or Photoshop.

    We need a steady shortcut for 100% and fit for screen, and we need a seamless target zoom, like the one in Raw at the moment (shift/command+/space+mouse).

    The functions also can't change between CameraRaw's Edit-window and Masking-window.

    I suggest the following:
    command+0 = fit for screen
    option+command+0 = 100%
    option+command+mouse drag…

    cannot store XMP metadata. No changes will occur.

  14. Batch Rename Static Sequence numbers

    Batch Rename is a fantastic tool, I use sequence numbers often and was surprised to find the capability to retain the last number in the sequence and start from the next number during the next Batch Rename use. However, it would be ideal if that was an option or a second choice. Having to modify the starting sequence number each time I want to use the same preset in a new scenario or workflow isn't always ideal and in the case of using workflows it has to be modified and saved again to reset the sequence starting point.   15. camera raw zoom lock

    In older version of camera raw when going to next/previous photo the zoom was always set to "fit to screen". Now it stays zoomed in or out across multiple photos, which is annoying (expecially when the crop tool zooms out from itself) and for me personally the old way was better. Probalbly opinion from user to user, therefore option to choose the behavior in this case would be the best.

  16. Adobe bridge image flickering

    Hi there.
    I am using mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.6 and Adobe Bridge Version 10.1.1.166
    All the time I view images in full screen preview they start blinking/flickering. Its v frustrating.
    Sometimes they don't blink but pretty much every session.

    Hope you can help to resolve.

  17. Revert to previous interface

    How can I revert to the previous interface in Camera RAW?
    The new one stacks all the edit items one above the other, and the panels don't close when a new one is selected. In no time you have a disorganised mess down the the RHS. You have to keep using the slider to get where you want to get to which is slower and inconvenient. Everything gets all cramped up and you have to close the panels yourself, rather than simply switching.

  18. Bridge Photo Downloader

    Using a Canon EOS 1DX Mk III camera, with Adobe Bridge v10.0.4.157, I am unable to download my images from a Sandisk 64gb CFExpress card via a Sandisk CFExpress card reader to an iMac Pro (macos Catalina) using my usual workflow of Bridge > Bridge Photo Downloader > Get Photos From Camera. The Downloader responds with 'No Device Found'.

    I have confirmed the following:

    The Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader does not recognise the CFExpress card in the Sandisk CFExpress card reader regardless of whether the card contains .CR3 or .CR2 files. Also, both .CR3 files and .CR2 files on a…

  19. reduce padding around folders and center the titles like in Bridge 2018

    Please remove the enormous padding around the folders and re-center the titles of each folder and image as in Bridge 2018. Simply incomprehensible why all titles are now aligned left which results in things like this:

  20. Adobe Bridge 2020 does not delete .XMP files

    Adobe Bridge 2020.
    The associated .XMP files are not deleted in Bridge 2020, this works fine in Bridge 2019.

    Operating system: MacOS Catalina

    This is a big problem, nobody wants to have thousands of useless files hanging around all over the place in the computer.

    Could you please confirm on the following..
    - Are you seeing the xmp files not deleted from Bridge by enabling the show hidden files option.
    - What is the file format with which you are observing the issue.
    - No of files in a folder
    - Version of Bridge and camera-raw

    Also if possible could you share a sample file on which you are observing the issue.
