Adobe Bridge 2020 does not delete .XMP files
Adobe Bridge 2020.
The associated .XMP files are not deleted in Bridge 2020, this works fine in Bridge 2019.
Operating system: MacOS Catalina
This is a big problem, nobody wants to have thousands of useless files hanging around all over the place in the computer.
Hi,
Could you please confirm on the following..
- Are you seeing the xmp files not deleted from Bridge by enabling the show hidden files option.
- What is the file format with which you are observing the issue.
- No of files in a folder
- Version of Bridge and camera-raw
Also if possible could you share a sample file on which you are observing the issue.
Thanks,
Bridge Team

two days ago the camera Raw feature in Bridge just stopped working. I have no idea why.
The files imported from the camera (CR3) show only as Ps files. They are not visible and don't open in Camera Raw.
I also have problems with saving those XMP files. The old program let me avoid them, now I can't get rid of them. -

I have the same error after the update to Adobe Bridge and Photoshop 2020.
I've tried to Embedd .XMP-files and Ignore, but still it shows .XMP-files in my explorer window.
This settings did change for my .CR2 files before (even tho settings says: .DNG) .But now after update, it just ignores this setting for my CR2 files on Windows.

Bridge no delete the XMP files and NO MOVE the XMP files with his NEF or RAW file. In older versions of Bridge, this runs fine!
For example, if you move, in the window bridge, a RAW file (NEF in my case) to other folder (drag and drop), only move the RAW file and his XMP file there was in the same place.
If you move the NEF file with the menu "Move to, or Copy to" his XMP file moves with his RAW file.I think as a Bridge bug and something are wrong with the link between RAW files and his XMP files.
Please, solve this! This is the same problem, link between RAW files and his XMP files. The XMP files MUST move when you move his RAW file in the drag and drop to other folder, or when the RAW file go to the trash.
THANKS IN ADVANCE Adobe TEAM
