  2. Add an auto-advance option when rating files

    I use Bridge to rate my RAW files before I import them to Lightroom. It would be nice to have a function similiar to Lightroom where you can enable CAPS LOCK and the image auto advances to the next file.

  3. Please reinstate "new window" dropdown in "file " in 2023

    in 2022 Bridge one can go to : file, drop down to : new window

    So simple, so easy for my wedding editing workflow. "Content pages" may be fine, but a huge amount of work when dealing with upwards to 1200 images all categorized in sub-folders. PLEASE It is so easy to have two main windows open... Far too complicated to explain further. CALL ME!
    Reinstalled 2022 just now 2023 is out for the time being

  5. JXL files

    There is a new file type, .JXL.
    It's supposed to support HDR and all that. And it does.
    But the thing is, Bridge and PS don't read the .JXL file, all they give you is a bad preview of it. If you open camera raw, you'll be able to see the HDR in the photo, but when you save and go back to Bridge/PS, you won't see the changes.
    Very frustrating, as I'm using HDR more and more. Would like to see an update soon because the HDR feature is basically useless for now.
    Also, deleting the .JXL ALSO deletes…

  6. Allow users to add dashes to camera-import generated folders

    When importing from camera, there is an option to generate a folder with the date e.g. 020224.
    This is fine but this condensed format is quite hard to read so if I could set it to 02-02-24 or with spaces it would make folder management a lot easier.

    I am aware I can (and do) custom name it but it would be logical to have an option where it automatically includes the dashes in the generated folder name, especially when users may be importing a lot at once.

  7. RESTORE NEW WINDOWS...

    I know this was said already, but I can't stress this enough. New windows are necessary for my workflow. The multiple tabs don't cut it. I need to be able to do different processes in different windows. Even copying files to bridge now takes up the entire program, and I can't go through other files to label while that process is happening. New windows has to be restored. Ctl+N. PLEASE!

  8. Keyword scroll vs column display

    Can the floating keyword panel use columns vs. scrolling? A long keyword list requires a lot of scrolling to find the required KW. Multiple columns would be helpful.

  9. Bring Multiple window and tab shortcut back

    Opening new windows and navigate through them it's crucial for busy workflows! or if you want to keep it into tabs, fine (even though not ideal) but at least give us the option of navigate via tab shortcut through them. We hate clicking each and every thing!
    Interface it's either too dark or two bright...or a mixed of the two! please revert back!
    Double clicking on folders does not work all the time, instead of opening the folder you end up renaming it, so annoying.
    Preview does not show always appropriate colour, it seems like it can't read the colour…

  10. スマートコレクションでターゲットフォルダが無くなったり変更された場合、UI上からスマートコレクションの修正・削除ができない

    スマートコレクションに設定したフォルダを無くしたり変更した場合、「コレクション」パネルからそのようなスマートコレクションを選ぶと貼り付けのようなダイアログが表示されます。
    このダイアログがモーダルダイアログであり、ダイアログを閉じると別のコレクション項目に戻るため、当該スマートコレクションを消すことも内容を修正することもできません。

    モーダルダイアログを出すのではなく、エラーがあるスマートコレクションに対してはパネル上でスマートコレクションに×をつけて表示するなどしてわかるようにするなどして、修正や削除可能にできるようにしていただきたいです。

  11. Please add the option of selecting to export to jpg from Bridge in the Adobe colour space

    Currently we can select the Adobe RGB profile when exporting a TIFF from a raw file but not a JPEG. This seems like an odd omission from Bridge.

  12. Please put color temp and exposure on the same panel!!!

    The new Camera Raw 16 includes a terrible layout, separating out exposure and color temp. They go hand-in-hand!

    Now when I'm finishing photos and I want to adjust color temp, I can't see if I have modified exposure (or any other lighting parameters.)

    Please bring back the old layout for those two. It's crucial to see exposure and color temp at the same time. Color temp and exposure doesn't respond linearly -- so if I'm adjusting exposure I want to know my color temp, and vice versa.

  13. Previously, in Bridge, you could right click to cut and paste a change in the filename. This was lost with a recent update.

    Previously, in Bridge, you could right-click to cut and paste changes to an image filename. This was helpful for keeping images with changes separate from others, such as "processed," etc. This was lost with a recent update and now requires using "ctrl-c" and "ctrl-v" which is cumbersome and a dated throwback.

  16. Change Snapshots without opening image in ACR

    I'd love to load snapshots directly in Bridge, without opening the pictures in ACR. That's something that Lightroom already does (see screenshot), but that's also the only thing I like about Lr. :D

  17. open new content tab

    Open new content tab "Same as current tab" (or similar) missing in Properties.

    So if I click + on this particular tab, I want to have it "duplicated" instead of opening a new computer/home/desktop or pictures folder.

  18. Remove "Loading" text on top of images (and blur, and flashes)

    Every (raw) image that loads in Bridge has an extremely annoying "Loading" and/or "Loading High Quality Preview" dialog ON TOP OF the image for a brief moment when it's first viewed.

    Why is there on one complaining about this? It's incredibly annoying! Makes comparing similar shots near impossible.

    Please get rid of it. Or if you have to, place it in the title bar or whatever but NOT on the images!

    Bridge 8.1 is STILL better! Why can Bridge 8.1 load raw files instantly, without texts, without flashes, without blurs? Just throw new bridge in the trash finally and polish…

  19. Bridge still critically unresponsive

    Bridsge is still consuming massive CPU cycles when traversing folders, especially new folders or folders with many images. It is ENTIRELY UNRESPONSIVE and unusable for minutes at a time.

    You ask people to cheerfully pay the monthly user fees, but you refuse to fix a problem that has been OBVIOUS to your QA folks for years now.

  20. File info

    When you right click on a new image and select File Info you can click on Template folder which brings up all your saved templates (showing keywords , titles, etc). You can then select a file number to copy this info to the new file which can save a lot of time and effort. However, to speed up this process further, the list of file numbers/templates needs to be reversed showing the newest file template at the top of the list, not all the way down the bottom. I have numerous file info templates saved and 90% of the time…
