1. Multiple windows, panel selection

   Restore multiple windows. Having multiple "content" panels does not serve the same purpose. Switching between the content panels is vastly annoying in comparison to switching between multiple Bride windows.

   Panel selection...

   (tldr: panels become "selected" when clicking on them and it loses your place in the other panel as well as using arrow keys after making a selection moves through the new panel rather than the content panel)

   In previous versions of Bridge, when I would select a filter in the filter panel, the image I had selected in the content panel would remain highlighted and I could continue to arrow through the images in the content panel even after clicking on a filter selection. In the latest version of Bridge, when I select a filter in the filter panel, the filter panel becomes "selected" and when I hit the arrow key to move to the next image in the content panel, the selection moves through the available filters in the filter panel. Then when I select the content panel, more often than not, the image I had selected in the content panel changes at random and I lose my place. This is incredibly frustrating as I'm usually sifting through a series of images and then I have to find them again. I don't know how else to word it other than, remove the ability to "select" a panel. It was working fine (actually better) in every other previous version of Bridge. This new attribute is very clunky, slow and frustrating.

   Bridge funciona muy lento. La versión de 2021 o 2022 es mucho mas rápida, intuitiva y funciona mucho mejor. La barra lateral de scroll es muy incómoda al ser tan estrecha.
   Para el usuario que trabaja a diario con bridge 8 horas ..se hace muy tedioso.

4. Return individual windows to Bridge 2023

   I need to control individual windows like I could in 2022. What I'm doing has too many individual requirements to keep going back to the main window and trying to organize a panel - plus after using it and trying to adapt, I am simply much less efficient that I was. I see how it works, I just dislike it intensely.

6. Lost bookmarks when working with files on a server

   ** Problem encountered on MacOS 12.6.1 and Windows 10 with the latest updates. **

   If there is a network outage when working with files on a server and you have the misfortune to click on a bookmark, ALL the bookmarks disappear.

7. progress bar

   Why is there no obvious way to see what bridge is currently working on? Give me a simple progress bar to know how long it's going to take a given folder to finish generating previews, please? I know I can just stare at windows task manager, but it seems dumb to not be part of your software.

8. Apple ProRes preview is broken

   Thumbs and Previews of Apple ProRes-Files with alpha are broken.
   Professional Assets are delivered in this format and Bridge never was and still is not capable of previewing these files.

   Please fix.

9. Workflow Details - Auto Open Saving Options Please

   In the Workflow Details window Task Details automatically opens, but Saving Options have to be opened manually each time the Workspace containing my Workflows is accessed. I think this is the exact opposite of how it should work. Saving Options is used constantly to set the destination folder for the workflow. On the other hand Task Details is simply informational. It shows the selected options for the preset and that is all it does.
   And by the way Task Details does not reset when changing from one preset to another. For example, I have one preset to save to Tiff files and another to save to Jpg files in the same Workspace. When I switch from the Tiff preset to the Jpg preset the Task Details still shows the options for the Tiff preset. To update the information in Task Details requires switching back and forth between workspaces to refresh it. The Task Details does not affect how the preset works, so this is not a serious issue. But still, if it is going to be there it ought to show the correct information, don't you think?

10. More control over what is displayed. I want to turn off the image title when projecting for my camera club competitions.

    The image title cannot be turned off at present (or I haven't found a way to do it yet) when I project the images at my camera club competitions. I must be able to retain the ratings though. Currently they cause the title to re-appear and continue to be displayed on subsequent images.

11. A working bug report system would be nice.

    I spent the past day trying to report a bug with Bridge, using three different browsers, and every time all I get is a Sorry, that couldn't be reported error.

12. Bridge Smart Collections Criteria: Date Modified by floating date range

    Add an option to Date Modified so that a date range can be selected, e.g.:
    Date Modified -> equals -> last 2 weeks, or last 1 week, or last 2 months, etc. (see attached file)

13. If we're not getting 'new window' back, have the path attach to each browser tab/panel

    Getting used to the new interface but it takes a lot of concentration to figure out which panel the path is referring to when you're browsing several locations at the same time (to move stuff between folders, or if you're pulling assets from two+ different places for a project). Just attaching the path to each one would solve this confusion elegantly.

14. Collapse All Folders

    In Windows Explorer, clicking on the down arrow while holding down the CTRL key will collapse that folder and all of its subfolders. This feature has also been implemented in Dreamweaver. It would be helpful to have this feature in Bridge also. Currently, the only way to collapse all folders is to quit and restart Bridge.

    On my site there are well over 1,000 folders and subfolders on three drives, including many A, B, C, … X, Y, Z folders nested five levels deep. After several additions or edits, the folder list in the Folders pane gets very long, requiring several folders to be manually closed just to make navigating easier.

15. Keyword searching needs to be quicker and more intuitive in Bridge

    Searching via keywords requires you to right-click on a keyword, click "Find" to bring up a different window, and then click "Find" again. This is not very intuitive and the UX isn't very good. In the Keywords panel, you should be able to click the Keywords you want to search for and then click search. I don't know if this requires a new panel just for searching or if there can be two buttons at the button of the existing panel: "Add" and "Search" (or "Find") - one for adding keywords to a file and one for searching by selected keywords.

    Also, currently, when adding more Keywords to the Search / Find criteria in the Find Pop-up window, you have to type them out, which could lead to misspellings or forgetfulness. There should be a dropdown of all the current keywords to choose from instead.

17. Please would you put back 'Open in New Window' back into Bridge. The new tabs idea is RUBBISH!

18. Damn-it, use background threads for your disk/thumbnail activity!

    Whenever I browse to a folder of sub-folders, or a folder containing many images, you run some sort of CPU-intensive activity on the FOREGROUND THREAD, thereby making Bride useless, for many minutes in some cases. I can only imagine you're updating some cache or thumbnails, but PLEASE, run this operation on a BACKGROUND THREAD so that I can make some use of Bridge, otherwise it's just a brick paperweight. THANK YOU.

19. Group by...

    It would be great to have a "group by type" option like in mac finder.
    I just migrated from MAc to windows and windows explorer "group by type is a mess" i would love to bridge to have a group by type option.
    I know that the "filter options"are kinda similar. But for a visual artist like me is not similar at all.
