This version is a huge waste of screen space:
- huge amount of useless space around the thumbnails, ratings and filenames, folders, folder names, metadata and so on.
- huge title bars above the panels
- huge bar at the bottom of the content panelOn the go I'm using a MacBook Pro 13". In Filmstrip Workspace, the Content panel is taking up ridiculous amounts of valuable screen space. If I reduce the size of the Content panel to match my screen, the filenames and ratings are hidden and the thumbnails get tiny. This is unusable.
Missing colour labels.
I was trying to roll back to Bridge CC 2018, but there was no option to manage previous versions in the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

I totally agree these design changes are terrible!
The dark cells around each image, the huge amount of space between thumbnails, the star ratings, the non-existent colour labels!.... WTF!??!
I'm rolling back to Bridge CC 2018 until they give the options to sort this visual mess of an update out!

I agree wholeheartly with Paul Smith. He is so spot on the visual changes. Clutter, clutter clutter.
Details of the issue? Can't you even read? The visual changes are degrading our experience - they are making our work harder.
If you add such changes - make them optional. -

Get rid of the ugly dark boxes around each icon. It is simply extra visual clutter. It should be adjustable/removable via option in the preferences.
The color labels were changes from coloring the whole icon/folder "box" just just a little dot next to the filename. It's fine when already looking at a specific file and you want to know what it's labeled . But when you want to visually scan a group of files/folders it is no longer as quick to find what you are looking for. Allow us to opt out of this change as well.
There is now a ridiculous amount of space between rows of files/folders. That is a waste.
Why do we have to see the "Star Ratings" for things set to zero stars. That is additional visual clutter that shouldn't be there. That should be removable via preferences.
You would think that a company that specializes in product for Graphic-y people would make decisions that are visually helpful. This has been a crappy update. (This is leaving aside the botched Photoshop update, and the continued neglect of Illustrator. They add mostly frilly stuff and leave out the much needed feature that should've been in place since version 1)
I'm very unhappy. We pay way too much for this.

Vergognoso -
