Different use case.
I'm entering a large folder - I know the cache generation starts immediately. But I'm unable to start working until it completes - I need 100% previews. It takes hours on high end machine to calculate for 3000 raws from D850.
So i use "Build and export Cache" and change folder to work for a folder where I have previews generated before.
In all past versions of Bridge cache generation continues to work on a first folder while I work in second folder.
In CC2019 this option is useless and I'm not upgrading until you fix this. This is a clear step back.Maciek shared this idea ·

Hi ,
Can you please let me know if you have updated Adobe Camera Raw after generating cache in Bridge.

No. I think I have updated everything prior to generating cache.
Cache was generated on newest versions on 18 october.
The after restart the 100% cache was lost.Maciek shared this idea ·

I agree wholeheartly with Paul Smith. He is so spot on the visual changes. Clutter, clutter clutter.
Details of the issue? Can't you even read? The visual changes are degrading our experience - they are making our work harder.
If you add such changes - make them optional.
Actually Bridge 2019 is the same situation. Cache build doesnt last after laptop shutdown.
Now I have to look for Adobe Bridge 2018 installer.
Thank you very much.
