  1. Lightroom's Keyboard Shortcuts for Keywords and Filtering Layout/Options

    One of the reasons I do not use Lightroom to organize my photos and videos is because when saving metadata to the file, by design, Lightroom changes both the file's creation and modified dates. Because I sort my files by creation date, I mainly use Bridge to browse/search and add metadata to them but miss a lot of the advanced metadata options Lightroom has such as: keyboard shortcuts to add keywords, purge all unused keywords, copy metadata to multiple files, etc.

    For filtering in Lightroom, there's a bar that appears at the top that allows users to filter for files…

    When I have to load pictures with the download tool, I have to fill in the date and copy every time ... so it has not been before ... there is some checkbox if something else I can do to get back as it was before

  3. Tags: synergy between mac and adobe

    I want the keywords I use in adobe bridge to look like tags in Finder - Mac Os 10.14
    work with archiving and use bridges and then send them to an asset management software. But then to find the photos simply, using the Mac, all the metadata I use, do not appear in the Finder. At least the used keywords could come out in Finder as Tags. Why not?

  4. Metadata template display format

    Metadata templates could be enhanced to be much more useful, by adding "template data display format" to each template. When creating a template, you would then not only choose which metadata items belong in the template, but ALSO you would be able to drag metadata fields around on a canvas, resize them, and adjust other properties of them to create a format for display of the metadata.

    With this enhanced metadata template, you could display the metadata associated with the template by using its display format. This could be used in a couple of places very effectively: as a tab…

  6. Browse and preview pictures on removable media

    It looks like browsing and previewing pictures on removable media is not supported in any meaningful way.

    I am able to see folder structure and file names. I cannot see thumbnails or metadata. In the context menu for a file, the "Open" and "Reveal in Explorer" options simply don't do anything.

    I have tested this with an Android 9 device in MTP and PTP modes. I also tested with a plain old USB flash drive.

    No matter how slow it may be, I want Bridge to fetch thumbnails for all my photos and browse them before downloading or deleting any…

  7. Advance Slideshow using buttons on a touch screens

    Hi there, I just got Bridge, and I'm playing around organizing my many photos. I noticed you can view these photos as a slideshow, via the View tab in the program. However, it seems the only way to advance the slideshow and move to the next picture is by the timer, or using the keyboard's arrow keys or spacebar. I primarily use a windows tablet, which only has a virtual keyboard, which gets in the way in a slideshow.   8. New version 2019, but still lacking of: Drag & Drop from Outlook

    It is still not possible to drag & drop a file Attachement from an E-Mail in Outlook (v2016 and now v2019) into a Bridge window. It's only possible from Outlook to a Windows Explorer window.

  9. dual monitor support or a new syncronized window

    Many user works with a second monitor. In bridge cc 2019 it´s unable to work with a second monitor like in Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop/Lightroom. My wish is a dual monitor support or a new syncronized window.

  10. Add photo tray

    Add the option to "collect" images from several locations into a temporary collection or "tray". By collecting the images from more than one place you can then compare between them or export them or do any other activity but the files can be located in different folders. I guess one could label photos in a special way then search for that keyword or label but that requires a root parent folder which might cause a large scale search...

  14. 2 km between each folder in folders view.

    why is there such a huge gap between folders? and why can't I change the colour of the highlight bar. overall it looks cheap and clunky. I don't like it at all.

  15. Share photos online with clients and receive back their rates and comments on Bridge and lightroom

    For example, in a wedding photography it would be very useful share a gallery with clients , and grant to them the chance to rate photos and then view on my bridge the classification (and comment) that the clients gave to the photos.

  16. RAW Converter: Transformieren/Verzerrung und/oder eigene Kurzbefehle

    Die Perspektivkontrolle mit dem Transformieren-Werkzeug hat seit geraumer Zeit ein eigenes Fenster bekommen. Von der Logik her ist es nachvollziehbar, das Transformieren-Werkzeug von den Objektivkorrekturen zu trennen. Leider geht das an der Praxis völlig vorbei: wer die Perspektive wirklich kontrollieren will, muss meist auch an den Verzerrung drehen.

    In der Praxis geht man doch so vor, dass zunächst die chromatischen Aberrationen beseitigt und automatische Profilkorrekturen angewendet werden. Dann werden die Perpektivkorrekturen vorgenommen. Abschließend müssen meist nochmals an den Verzeichnungen kleinere Anpassungen vorgenommen werden.

    Kann man die Perspektivkontrolle nicht als dritten Reiter bei der Objektivkontrolle unterbringen? Dann müsste man nicht ständig…

  18. Gewisse Dateien in Bridge ausblenden

    Es wäre sinnvoll wenn man in der Ansicht gewisse Dateien Ausblenden könnte. zB. AAE Dateien. Diese werden in LR ja auch nicht angezeigt. Wieso werden diese in Bridge angezeigt?.

  19. Catalog

    I find the data cache import and export system extremely uncomfortable and intricate. Could you please give the possibility to save catalogs like Phase One Capture One software do? It would be amazing to have catalogs like theirs but that can manage all the kinds of files that Bridge handles.
