  1. camera raw lens profile correction creates pattern

    For low key photos that have more dark areas, a pattern is visible when lens profile corrections are enabled. This pattern is visible in Bridge before opening a raw file in ACR, even when the profile is switched off for a file. When exporting a jpg from ACR with the lens profile enabled, the pattern is applied to the image.

  2. "Camera Raw editing is not enabled" error appears when trying to copy-paste settings in Adobe Bridge 2023

    When trying to copy-paste edit settings on Adobe Bridge 2023, I get the message "Camera Raw editing is not enabled; Camera Raw requires that a qualifying product has been licensed" even though I am subscribed to a Photography Plan, and have not encountered this issue before.

    Currently, I am able to open the RAW file (from Adobe Bridge) in Camera RAW, and copy the settings from there, then open the file where I want to paste the settings to and paste the settings there, but no way to copy a setting in Adobe Bridge, then select multiple RAW files in…

  3. Files with AI-generated smart masks will not open in PS from Bridge

    After the latest update, any of my raw files where I've used smart masks (i.e. select subject) refuse to open in PS. I hit Open and simply nothing happens. If I delete the smart mask and add a non-AI mask, the same file will open just fine. If I open the same file directly from Photoshop, it will open up Camera Raw within PS and then open in PS just fine. It's only trying to open from Bridge that's the problem. Bizarre! Any fixes? Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest versions of both Bridge and PS - no luck.

    The mentioned issue is fixed in the latest patch release #13.0.1.583, Please install and confirm if that fixes the issue.

  4. Camera Raw. Can't move mask or adjust size of mask (E.g. Liner gradient or radial gradient)

    In Camera Raw, I can no longer adjust the size of a liner gradient mask or a radial gradient mask. The size lines/box that shows the mask area are first there when making the mask however as soon as I click to place, the lines/box disappear and I can no longer adjust the mask at all.

    The attached image is of a liner gradient mask after being placed (red area). As you can see no adjustment box is present so I can not adjust the size of the mask at all as I could before.

  6. Camera Raw won't open DNG files

    I like to open multiple DNG files directly from bridge. I select them in bridge, say open, and it goes into camera raw. Then I select all and press open. Since downloading the newest version, I cannot open the DNG files in this way. I have to open them by clicking on the thumbnail in bridge, and say "open with Adobe Photoshop 2023" then it will open. Just an extra step, but maybe a bug?

  7. Unable to open new merged dng from Camera Raw in Photoshop - parse error

    Unsable to open new merged DNG direct out of Camera Raw in Photoshop. Error: "Could not open "file.dng" becuase the file-format module cannot parse the file"
    If I first close Camera raw and open the new DNG again, it opens in Photoshop perfectly.

  8. CACHE ALWAYS RESETS TO 5 GIG 13.0.8.1.583

    No matter what I do, ACR cache ALWAYS rests to 5.0 Gig. I've tried a dozen different ways to reduce the size. NEVER happens. Always running cache in the background. Hating it more every day.

  9. Bridge 2023 keeps looking for Photoshop 2022, does not recognize Photoshop 2023 on Windows 10, works fine on my Windows 11 machine.

    Bridge does not open into PS 2023, keeps telling me it cannot find PS 2022. This is in Windows 10, works fine on my lower spec Windows 11 machine.

  11. Camera Raw to Photoshop Save not working (single and multiple images)

    I updated Photoshop yesterday to the 2023 version. The new version of Camera Raw is great; I love the new ways to mask the subject, sky, background, etc. But when I try to open as a smart object in Photoshop (Shift-click), nothing happens. The image does not open in Photoshop 2023. I don't get an error message, but nothing happens. I have to close Photoshop 2023 and open Photoshop 2021 to save the image.   12. Open Tiffs in Camera Raw

    Just updated Bridge to 13.0.0.562 and can no longer open tiff files in Camera Raw, it is as if the program does not even exist. This really sucks!!!!

  13. Camer Raw Auto Exposure ONLY

    I'm trying to create a preset in ACR that will use the Auto tone adjustments on the Exposure slider ONLY.

    In the Create Preset settings, I unticked all the options except for the "Exposure" check box and the "Apply Auto Tone Adjustments" box.

    However, when I use this preset on images it changes ALL the sliders in the "Basic" section, and not just the Exposure ONLY. How come?? And is there a way to do the exposure only? If not, why not?

    The new masking feature worked PERFECTLY on the previous version of camera raw. I could mask out multiple people in a group shot. However after updating it is terrible. Doesn't even get close to masking out multiple people.

  16. Image flickering

    Everytime I go through previews in full screen the image is flickering. It blinks and it's so annoying. Please, solve the issue, I'm about to unsubscribe from Adobe if there is no solution to this.

  17. JPG File saved by Camera Raw from raw file looks different from raw file + xmp in Bridge 12.0.1.246

    Never experienced a detectable visual difference before . I usually restrict JPG size to 5MB. Saving to a JPG with quality 12 made no difference. Both JPGs looked different from the RAW (CR2) + xmp. I cannot upload the raw or the xmp file, so I can't illustrate the problem with an upload

  18. masking in hdr merge causes crash

    When masking a merged hdr file, sometimes the program crashes and all work is lost! Sometimes when using spot removal tools in camera raw the program crashes and all work is lost! This is completely unacceptable.

  19. Camera raw 14.0 loses Crop Tool Rotate if XMP is embeded in DNG

    Adobe Bridge 12.0.0.234 using Camera Raw 14.0.0.950

    Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 20H2 OS Build 19042.1348

    In Adobe Bridge set Camera Raw Preferences to embed XMP in DNG file.

    To reproduce fault.
    Double click on a DNG file you want to rotate.
    Select Crop Tool and Click on Rotate 90 degrees icon (CW of ACW). The photo rotates.
    Click on Done.
    Image Preview is not rotated - double clicking back into image shows the photo is not rotated.

    In Adobe Bridge click on rotate icon (CW or ACW) - preview rotates.
    Double click on image to start in Camera Raw…
