Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has disabled GPU rendering which uses the graphics hardware.
While in Windows Explorer, right click on an image or folder -> Open with Bridge
Opens Bridge, shows the below message, doesn't respond and closes shortly after.
"Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has disabled GPU rendering which uses the graphics hardware. Please restart Bridge for an optimal experience.
Check the manufacturer's website for the latest software."
Happenes on PC with Windows 10 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 650
and new Surface Pro 6 with Windows 10 and Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620
Drivers are checked and up to date.
Opening a file/folder from the explorer the same way while Bridge is already open WORKS FINE.
I have seen a response to that problem flagged as "not a bug" when clearly IT IT A BUG. Happens on 2 different machines with working graphic cards.
This happens since the 2019 update, was never happening before on the same PC.
I am getting this same problem on both my desktop (Geforce GTX 1070) and laptop (Geforce GTX 1060). Latest Drivers on both. Windows 10 x64. Never happened with Bridge CC 2018. This is a pretty widespread issue, and would appreciate it if Adobe put some manpower towards actually fixing the issue. It happens most often with the transform tool and merge to panorama. Really screwing up my workflow, not to mention my day.
I installed a new GPU and 32mg of memory back in March. Worked fine until a month ago and went through updates and the bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver and has disabled GPU rendering which uses the graphics hardware. It says restart bridge which I did and I'm still having the same problem when in photoshop and encounter the screen bouncing around when using the sliders which it didn't do that until bridge crashed.

Hello; I have exactly the same problem on my brand new computer.
@Hemant; are you kidding us? She clearly specified that all of the drivers are checked and up to date!
This is exactly what happens to me too.
I run with :
- GTX 1660 - DRIVER : NVIDIA Studio Driver 430.86, 27/05/2019 version; i cant be more checked and up to date on this
- i5 9600K
- Windows 10 pro
- Adobe creative suite with automatic updates turned on (Bridge version 18.104.22.1689 x64)
Still, I always get the "Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has disabled GPU rendering which uses the graphics hardware." each time i try to open any file from the explorer.
Therefore; I HAVE to have Bridge always opened on my computer if I dont want to have to reboot every hour. This is annoying
Please can you consider that this is a problem many people are getting, and that these people are not stupid to the point of saying they updated drivers but they did not. So please answer something else than : this is your software's problem, update your drivers or have you tried turning off and on the computer and such bullshit we get in local IT shops.
I, for my part, tried thousands of things to fix this for a week that i have my computer now; and it obviously comes from Bridge.

Apologies for the inconvenience you are facing.
According to the message your GPU may not be functioning properly and so rendering has stopped in Bridge. Please update the Driver and update us.

Happens on my system:
* Windows 7 x64
* Bridge CC 22.214.171.124 x64
* GTX 970
