Error when exporting shared cache
Getting an error when trying to export the cache to a network folder, or a local folder on my drive that syncs with Dropbox. Can't share with others if they can't access it...
Request you to share some sample files with abseth@adobe.com for which you are facing this issue

I am unable to export a cache for multi-user-use at all. I have a folder of 9,300 high resolution files on my local machine and tried to export the cache. My intention was to use this feature in our company, but after one day of testing, I think this export is buggy and not usable at all.
No matter what I try I get the error-message shown in the post above.System: macOS Catalina 10.15.4, Adobe Bridge 2020, version 10.0.4.157

From a feature request perspective it would be good if the 'Build and export cache' provided more details when it encountered and error, such as:
> What caused the error
> If the error was caused because it couldn't process a particular file or image then provide the name of that file or image so the user can then fix or remove that file and try running the export again? Many thanks

I am having the same issue when trying to export the cache for a network folder (Manage Cache... > Tools > Build and export cache...).
The export seems to create thumbnails correctly as the first step of the export ie. the progress dialog seems to complete the 'Building cache' stage successfully. However then it errors in the 'Exporting cache' stage and says "An error occurred during shared cache export. would you like to retry?". I try again but then after a while get another error "An error occurred during shared cache export".
It is going through a collection of above 12000 items and seems to error of about the 600th item. I'm guessing there must be some corruption in an image that is causing the 'export cache' to error on it but there is no way for me to find exactly what image the export is erroring on? Is there a log file anywhere I can look at to get more information?
We are running Apple mac client computers with a Windows file server.
Many thanks, Heulwen

Can you explain in more detail what files you are looking for?
