Add warning when deleting a photo that belongs to 1 or more collections
Add warning when deleting a photo that belongs to 1 or more collections (similar to Aperture). This would prevent users from accidentally deleting a photo that is used in 1 or more collections. I have been deleting photos only to find out I chose the wrong version (by deleting one I previously selected in a photo).

Backup settings
I would like to be able to backup all my collections and other definitions with a menu option. If I re-install Bridge (and my machine needs re-installing every few months thanks to the magic of many weird things like device drivers etc) I would like to know I can restore all my Bridge configuration settings.

Enough with the UI "improvements." Let's go back to the Bridge 2018 User Interface. Please.
Want to solve all these user interface complaints? Look at Bridge 2018. It was better than the current user interface in EVERY WAY.

Move information from bottom of Content Panel back to bottom of Bridge window. (Revert back to how Bridge 2018 did this).
This image describes the problem: PLEASE FIX THIS.

Add support for Corel Painter files
Corel Painter is an awesome program for freehand natural media image creation.. In essence it can be an awesome plug in for Photoshop. It's native file format is .rif and Bridge only displays the painter logo so hard to find an image I wish to open when I'm working in Painter.

Automatically write xmp files
As there is in lightroom it would be beneficial if there were a checkbox to automatically write XMPs for all files.

Display video frame rate plus height and width. This would make it easier to sort 4k and 1080 clips.

Camera Raw Adjustment Brush - Erase adjustment not enabled
If I add an adjustment brush I will not able to delete/erase a particular area from it.
I can click on [Erase] but after the first click on the image it change automatically to [Add].Every time I make a mistake I need to delete the entire adjustment and make a new one.
It's all started from 1 week.

Move information from bottom of Content Panel back to bottom of Bridge window. (Revert back to how Bridge 2018 did this).
In the "Preview" workspace, the VITAL information on the bottom of the Content panel is lost. In Bridge 2018, this was permanently along the bottom of the Bridge program window. Now that it's INSIDE the Content panel, the file number count, etc, is lost because the Content panel is too narrow to display it. C'mon. Why move it? It was perfect where it was! Or at the very least, make the file count stay, and the thumbnail size slider disappear.

I don't like the new Content window.
There's too much wasted space between the thumbnails. Also, the dark boxes around the thumbnails are really unnecessary and distracting. I prefer the view of CC 2018. Please make this new look optional, and/or allow users to turn these boxes off in preferences.

Hi,
In the recently released v10.0 of bridge, there is an option at the bottom of the Content pane to allow users to turn off the ‘dark boxes’. It is called ‘Show Tiles’.
Thanks,

Allow users to set the location of the Media Cache.
The default location of the Media Cache is on my C:\ drive. I do not like the C:\ drive to be used for temporary files. The constant creation and deletion of temporary files on the C:\ drive greatly increases the chances for corruption of that drive. Instead, I partition a separate drive to use for temporary things like caches and my Temp folder.
Alternatively, some people might want to put the cache on a fast SSD drive while leaving their C:\ drive as a standard spinning disk.

Copy and Paste Metadata between images
I think the implementation of metadata on Bridge is pretty good, but it would be a much more powerful feature for me if I could cut and paste the metadata from one file to another. I understand that I can use templates and apply them to a large group of photos using the append metadata option from the dropdown menu, but I don't want to be constantly clearing out old templates from the list to keep it manageable. Instead, I use one template that I edit and re-use for these purposes, but if I've changed it since working on a…

Old interface in Bridge 8 was much better than new!
I think not need to change things that was good.
New interface is too "designed": previously it was more compact, without extra featuгes as big grey stars, wide grey frames around images and many other.
New features must adjusted in Preferences in more detailed style.26 votesFEATURE- RELEASED ·

Hi,
This request has been addressed in v10.0 of Bridge released earlier this month.
Please upgrade to see the change.
You have options at the bottom of the content pane to Hide Tiles and Show Thumbnails only. These options will allow you to see larger thumbnails and more content by using the zoom slider.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Teja

Add "Date Added" to sort options
Please add the option of sorting a window by Date Added. This will allow finding the newest additions to a folder regardless of Date Captured or Date Modified.
MacOS added this option to Finder sorting a few years ago.3 votes
