  1. allow built-in lens profile to be DISABLED in camera raw

    If i wanted my photos to be automatically corrected then I wouldn't use editing software to begin with and i wouldn't be shooting raw photos.

    gives us control of our images, let us turn OFF this "feature", apparently this is done to nikon and micro four thirds cameras. we DON'T want automatic built-in corrections in our software, we like control of our images.

  2. Move information from bottom of Content Panel back to bottom of Bridge window. (Revert back to how Bridge 2018 did this).

    In the "Preview" workspace, the VITAL information on the bottom of the Content panel is lost. In Bridge 2018, this was permanently along the bottom of the Bridge program window. Now that it's INSIDE the Content panel, the file number count, etc, is lost because the Content panel is too narrow to display it. C'mon. Why move it? It was perfect where it was! Or at the very least, make the file count stay, and the thumbnail size slider disappear.

  3. Need separate Work-in-Progress Indicator

    I feel that a separate Work-in-Progress Indicator (distinct from the Spinning Pizza) is needed for those times when Bridge is actually working on something (such as writing Keywords) instead of having frozen completely.

    At the moment, there is no indication that Bridge is doing anything at all while the Pizza keeps spinning and the Dock merely indicates that there is an option to Force Quit.

    So we need a different Bridge-governed indicator and the Pizza should then only appear if Bridge has actually frozen.

  5. Moving files results in total error

    Whenever I want to move or even copy files within my Dropbox folders while Dropbox is active Bridge will display me an error saying "File could not be moved/copied because the file doesn't exist anymore." Which is not true. File is still there.

    On top of it it will display this notification to me for every single file. So if I want to copy or move 600 photos it shows me 600 notifications which I would have to click "OK" on to get rid of.

    Forces me to quit the whole program via Task Manager instead.

  7. "Send" Capacity within Bridge to Forward an Image

    I use Bridge to examine visual files to determine their "worthiness" for further processing. I wish, when keying an image, an option would be "Send" (as is found in File Explorer) where i could easily send the image to another for their review/suggestions/input.

    Bridge can’t show the number of pages in a Book file respectively as we see inside ‎InDesign’s Book Panel! ‎
    View > Sort submenu’s commands are fine, but If a command were there to choose ‎and show us documents of a Book file from a Book Panel in respectively would be great.‎

  13. What happened to ability to *work* while thumbnails were being made?

    In Bridge 2018 and earlier you could have a folder with say 1,000 new photos, enter it with Bridge, and start triaging content into other folders. Can not do this in Bridge 2019! Select a range of 20 photos say and Bridge plain locks up. Bridge has to generate all thumbnails first before you can work. It's an massive interruption to work flow. Consequently, I only work in Bridge 2018.

    When I have to load pictures with the download tool, I have to fill in the date and copy every time ... so it has not been before ... there is some checkbox if something else I can do to get back as it was before

  15. Browse and preview pictures on removable media

    It looks like browsing and previewing pictures on removable media is not supported in any meaningful way.

    I am able to see folder structure and file names. I cannot see thumbnails or metadata. In the context menu for a file, the "Open" and "Reveal in Explorer" options simply don't do anything.

    I have tested this with an Android 9 device in MTP and PTP modes. I also tested with a plain old USB flash drive.

    No matter how slow it may be, I want Bridge to fetch thumbnails for all my photos and browse them before downloading or deleting any…

  16. Advance Slideshow using buttons on a touch screens

    Hi there, I just got Bridge, and I'm playing around organizing my many photos. I noticed you can view these photos as a slideshow, via the View tab in the program. However, it seems the only way to advance the slideshow and move to the next picture is by the timer, or using the keyboard's arrow keys or spacebar. I primarily use a windows tablet, which only has a virtual keyboard, which gets in the way in a slideshow.     Is it possible to use the arrows on your keyboard to select the next or previous image,like you would do with the spacebar in full screen mode. That way i can still see all the info. i use the light table view mode 99% of the time. i could not find a setting make the change. now i can only use the preview panell when the thumbnails are selested and ofcourse the all of them is open in the preview panel. or you should be able to make changes to the fulscreen mode where we can still se all the…

  19. RAW Converter: Transformieren/Verzerrung und/oder eigene Kurzbefehle

    Die Perspektivkontrolle mit dem Transformieren-Werkzeug hat seit geraumer Zeit ein eigenes Fenster bekommen. Von der Logik her ist es nachvollziehbar, das Transformieren-Werkzeug von den Objektivkorrekturen zu trennen. Leider geht das an der Praxis völlig vorbei: wer die Perspektive wirklich kontrollieren will, muss meist auch an den Verzerrung drehen.

    In der Praxis geht man doch so vor, dass zunächst die chromatischen Aberrationen beseitigt und automatische Profilkorrekturen angewendet werden. Dann werden die Perpektivkorrekturen vorgenommen. Abschließend müssen meist nochmals an den Verzeichnungen kleinere Anpassungen vorgenommen werden.

    Kann man die Perspektivkontrolle nicht als dritten Reiter bei der Objektivkontrolle unterbringen? Dann müsste man nicht ständig…
