Bridge wont open files in Photoshop

A few days ago I could double click a photoshop file in Bridge and it opens in Photoshop, now it does nothing after restarts etc. No new app installs and updates. Not sure why suddenly files refuse to open. What is the point of having bridge now?

    Hello Peter,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Could you please share the the "File type associations" settings from:
    Preferences / Settings -> File Type Associations" and check for Photoshop?

    Also, could you please check if you have any Photoshop Beta installed? In case it is installed, could you please try uninstalling the BETA version and trying again?
