Adobe Photodownloader can't detect CF Express cards for import
Adobe Photo Downloader can't detect CF Express cards for import on MacOS. (untested on Windows) I've tried with Sony and Sandisk CF Express cards with both SanDisk and ProGrade Digital card readers.
Im sure this has to do with the fact these cards work on pci-e interface. There has to be a way to make this work like traditional flash based storage media. (CF & SD cards)
The ability to use APD for importing images is VERY crucial to my workflow
Hi,
CF express card are designed to be treated as external drive, there are many factors involved for such decision one being performance.
Currently, we have limitation of not displaying storage devices in its listing which behave as external hard drives.
We have this issue in our engineering pipeline.
Thanks,
Bridge Team

Just bought my first CFe card for Nikon Z cameras - I've been using XQD with Bridge / APD for several years with no issues at all, so I was very surprised when my CFe card would not show up in APD. Mac mounts the card and sees it just fine, but cannot import through APD. This is the first I've heard of this problem and Adobe doesn't seem to acknowledge or update subscribers with an important issue such as this. Really long past due for a fix or at least a public acknowledgement of the problem and the progress in the engineering pipeline towards a fix.

Nikon Z series are compatible with CFE cards, I was amazed when buying a CFE Integral Ultima and finding there was a problem with APL reading the card and finding its been like this since CFE B cards are being used is a joke. Had I even considered a problem I would have just bought another XQD card. Adobe are so behind the curve. My iMac and MacBook both read the cards through a reader.

Ridiculous!! Get this issue resolved!!! I just bought a 1dx mark iii and have the same issue and same workflow as probably thousands of other photographers. Fix it or provide a workaround that's well published and we don't have to go hunting for it when, and if, you ever address this urgent issue.

While Im glad that it's FINALLY being addressed. It's been well over a year and I've had to completely alter my workflow to deal with this issue
