Bridge 2020 not generating previews or thumbnails
Using Bridge v 10.0.0.124. Running on macOS Mojave (because of the laundry list of unresolved problems with AC Raw and Photoshop running on Catalina).
Updated this afternoon and now Bridge won't create Thumbnails or Previews at all.
I've tried purging cache and restarting my computer and Bridge several times.
I get the "(Generating Thumbnails..., Generating Previews...) note on the bottom panel as Bridge would do normally, but even after leaving Bridge open for an hour no new previews are generated. I have a blank grey square where my image preview should be for all images in a given folder. Raw DNG, Jpgs, Raw NEF files, makes no difference.
It's very frustrating that an update will stop a basic function of a file management software. I've lost and afternoon's work on this already.
HELP!

The same thing is happening to me. I have tried on v12, v13, and the beta version. I don't see the previews of the ai, psd, jpeg images as I used to. I have a Mac OS Monterey 12.5. This is very frustrating. I have purged the cache, reset preferences and increased the size of the files to view.

I found a work around - I can drag a CF card image folder from my finder into Bridge 2022, and it quickly reads the files and provides thumbnails. Without this end-around it just stalls doing nothing.

I have the same problem. I opened a folder containing 301 files on an external hard drive and thumbnails aren't generated. I looked at the Activity monitor and Bridge was using 56.77GB! Even my old laptop running CS5.5 can handle this.

Same here, more or less. Thumbnails are generated but very, very slowly. An image every 10-15 seconds ( they show up two by two) and after a while it stalls. I'm a professional photographer, Bridge is an important tool, used it ever since it came out, but now it's unusable.
Bridge 10.0.0.124 on both Mojave (brand new iMac) and High Sierra (Macbook).
Purged cache several times. Did reinstall, didn't help.Indeed: Help!

i feel there needs to be a clear tasks. and pause task button so when i enter a folder that has large files and exit that folder to another i can clear the other folders task. also needs to load the folders and documents first than the meta than the thumbnails... thumbnails should be last on the load
