Today I had to switch back to Bridge 2019.
Bridge 2020 now frezes from time to time or runs unusable slow more and more. Could there be a problem with a cache or a database? I don't know. - Here in this board are some more similar threads. Please have a look! And please find a solution!

After some Weeks working with Bridge 2020, it slows down again. The workauround dont helps any more. If it go so on, I have to reinstall Bridge 2019, if possible.

    Work around:
After a clean install of Catalina Adobe Bridge 2020 works fine.
I migrated all data manually! Preferences I have not migrated.

Bridge 2020 is slow here to under Mojave an Catalina. It is unsusable to use. It seems, scanning or caching a folder takes a lot of time. This not occours in Bridge 2019.

    Work around for Bridge 2020

This helps, but after downloading it takes about 30 seconds, to close the downloader-window:
Just create empty folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC 2019 ((written as shown. With blanks in folder-name!))
(~ represents your home folder, whatever it is)

I found the hint in this forum at https://adobebridge.uservoice.com/forums/905377-report-bugs/suggestions/35783887-bridge-2019-photo-downloader-doesn-t-remember-prev

After a clean install of Catalina and Adobe Bridge 2020 the photo-downloader-window don't remeber any more the last adjustments. It always starts like after the clean install. In former installations the paramaters where like at the last use.

Could it be a problem of file-rights?
Please, could anybody post here, wich file (neccessary for photo-downloader) must have wich rights?

    Solved.
Resetting preferences solved the problem. Discribed at point 2 at https://helpx.adobe.com/de/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge.html

    Bridge 10.0.0.124 on OSX 10.14.06
is unusable because it takes to much time reading folder and Files resp. building cache.
Also it needs to much time to close the application.
So I have to use Bridge 2019 again.

Could it be wrong parameters in preferences of Bridge 2020?

You are right. But on the other side the way, gone by adobe, you have the chance to use an earlier Version until the actually version runs fine. In a productive environment this is essentually.

And please remember: Using CC-Manager you can remove unwished apps.
