Bridge 2019: Locked thumbnail grid changes its icons-across setting when F2-renaming a file
(This bug existed in Bridge 2018, and is still here in 2019)
When the thumbnail grid is locked to e.g. 10 icons across, and the window is then resized, the number of icons across remains 10. Expected behavior so far.
But if you now rename a file with F2, the number of icons across jumps to a different number, even though the Thumbnail-grid lock is still on.
It's as if the rename process forces the grid to momentarily disengage in the background, re-distribute the thumbnails to the current window size, then re-engage.
Interestingly, it seems to work as expected if the file is renamed by clicking on the filename: the grid doesn't jump.
And extra cosmetic thing: The text field being edited is also now (sometimes) overlaid over the old location of the file icon before it jumped away, making it look like Bridge isn't quite sure where the icon is supposed to be.
