A few more details to add to my report below, if this helps.

It just happened to me for the third time, immediately after copying (option-dragging) some tagged files into a folder in the Bridge window. The copy completed, and Bridge stopped accepting UI clicks and pressed keys. The previous time I was not copying files, though I don't remember what exactly I was doing.

    New things I noticed:

Arrow keys cause the computer to beep, so it knows I'm pressing them. It’s just unable to respond for whatever reason.

Mousing-over UI items works fine: the stars under a thumbnail still highlight one by one as you mouse-over them, though you can’t click them. UI buttons also show their button-outline highlight as you mouse-over them.

Using the menu bar to e.g. set and clear the star ratings works normally, so the “OS part of the app” is accepting clicks and functioning fine underneath the apparent “freeze.” It’s the Bridge window that’s acting up.

Twice now I've experiencing the same thing. It seems to happen after having used Bridge 2019 for a bit, but this last time certainly less than a half hour since the last launch.

For me it's not a full freeze: Menus are responsive, but most items are grayed out including "About Bridge..." and "Quit Bridge" in the Apple Menu, meaning I have to force quit. The feeling is as though there's some invisible modal dialog demanding my attention before it will allow me to use the rest of the app.

Nothing in the main window is clickable, and normal keyboard commands (arrows etc) are ignored.

A handful of menu items like slideshow are available, but when I chose that as a test, I still had no keyboard so I couldn't stop it, and had to force quit Bridge to escape.

iMac 5k, 40GB RAM, Mac OS 10.14 Mojave. Browsing local files, cache generation has completed long ago.
