Selecting via Click & Drag
In previous iterations, we used to be able to hold down the alt/command key (Mac), and drag over many thumbnail icons (in alternating columns, let's say), and each would be added to the overall selection. Now that is not the case. While we can click on single thumbnails in a panel while holding down alt/command, the selection refreshes with each new "click and drag."
I occasionally take many screenshots (cmd + shift + 3 on a Mac) which grabs BOTH screens, but I may only need the image on one. When I go back into Bridge, those end up as…

Folder Content Previews
In Bridge it is annoying to not have any preview of the contents of folders requiring constant referencing back to Windows Explorer just to get a visual indicator!
It is very easy to find the shoot you are looking for in Windows explorer because a sample image from inside the folder appears on the folder thumbnail.

Optionally play Slideshow in a window rather than full screen
There are frequently times when I would like to play a Slideshow within a window rather than full screen - for example, when on a Zoom call and I would like to share just the window with the Slideshow, or when fullscreen slideshows aren't working right (there is currently a bug which makes my images jump around and flicker in fullscreen mode).

Show IPTC Core "Description" field in Slideshow
Currently the Slideshow feature displays the Filename at the bottom of the screen. My file names are not at all meaningful to my audience so I would like to display the IPTC Core "Description" field instead. Ideally you would give users the ability to choose which metadata fields to display in a slideshow.

deleting files is too slow
Deleting raw files (80+ MB) on an NVME is still painful slow because your product is displaying a dialog box and blocking until the operation has completed. Please change this to an asynchronous operations that doesn't block so I can quickly delete a file and start working on the next one.

Preview Output is Unusable
Bridge version 13 does not adjust the size of the output preview so I can view the entire file, and it hides the reset button at the bottom, forcing me to scroll down and over to reset. In addition, even with all the dropdown options closed on the output settings panel, I have to manually scroll down to "EXPORT" to PDF. When doing dozens of photos in a single job, the time required to constant scroll to click the required button is substantial.

Paste Camera Raw Settings
I use color a color management system and calibrate by the job - sometimes several times daily. After I set the color profile, I use the "Develop Settings" tool to copy the settings from a color chart that contains the custom profile, has been color balanced, adjusted for density, etc. When I "Paste Settings" to the files taken within that job (sometimes hundreds), the "(color) Profile" is grayed-out. I am forced to open an earlier version of ACR to copy the profile to the images.

Add time zone to Edit Capture Time
I'm using Bridge to add metadata to scanned photos. But the Edit Capture Time does not have time zone selection.
Without it Bridge defaults to user's computer operating system's time zone. This then appears in the xmp, for example as <exif:DateTimeOriginal>1971-07-01T00:00+10:00/exif:DateTimeOriginal. The problem is that is the wrong time zone for my scanned photos. In this instance I want +01:00, not +10:00.
First issue is Bridge doesn't show the offset in the Date Time Original metadata field, so the user doesn't realise there's a problem.
Then when I import the files with this incorrect time zone from Bridge into Apple…

A panel to preview histogram, waveform or vectorscope of an image, either one at the time or two panels at a time.

New Window function in Bridge
Wow, what a bad update! Please bring back the New Window feature!
Photographers who need to compare images in multiple folders, or more specifically, move images inbetween folders need the old version back.
I used to be able to drag and drop images from one bridge window, and place them exactly where they were now needed to go. Then rename.....
For some reason Adobe has taken this crital functionality away.

Für das Anzeigen der Focuspunkte fehlt in Bridge die Funktion.
Ich fotografiere mit Nikon. Ich kann die Focuspunkte in Nikon NX-Studio anzeigen bei meinen RAW's. Da ich aber den Adobe Workflow nutze und alle meine Bilder in DNG umwandle zeigt mir Nikon NX-Studio diese Bilder nicht mehr.
Aus diesem Grund erwarte ich mir von ADOBE hier eine Lösung in Bridge!Vielen DANK

Keywording
I have files with lots of images and I want to apply keywords to them.
I first see which images have no keywords.
I then click on an image and give it a keyword.
it immediately removes that image form the screen as it now has a keyword.
I would like to add more than one keyword to an image but then I have to find that image to add more keywords.
It would be good if there was a feature that allowed you to select multiple keywords and only apply them when you have finished adding them all1 vote -
camera raw filter in PS doesnt show your previous edits done
once you open camera raw in PS you can't tweak the changes when you open the camera raw un der filter. this shows no changes. Would be great if we could continue to make or edit those non destructive changes on the CR file inside PS.

Title bar Bridge
The new Bridge version 13.0.0.562 has a bright Title bar theme. It distracts the user, it's annoying. Can you set theme as OS settings? Thanks

ADOBE BRIDGE 2023 "FIND" PROBLEMS
I upgraded from BRIDGE 2022 to 2023 because 2023 is much faster doing what I need it to do BUT there's now a big problem using "FIND". I have an Apple computer by the way.
In BRIDGE 2022 when I would search for something and use COMMAND "F" it would take me to a screen that automatically highlighted an area where I could type my request BUT in 2023 it does not highlight this at all. To go to the place where I need to type in the word I now have to use my TAB key four times. This…

Keyword folder
I would like to add keywords to folder instead of only files. This way, I would be ablo to tag projects with keywords. This would allow to search all the folders containing, for example, architecture photography or portrait photography.

Bridge 2023 sluggish scroll performance
While scrolling the content using bridge 2023 I get around 10-15 frames per second, not the case with bridge CS6 where I get 165+ frames per second.
Improve the performace the user experience got worse with Bridge 2023.

Bridge Beta 13.0.4 Issues
These are not in order of importance:
1.thumbnails dont show unless you click on them
2.cannot move files using ALT+Shift
3.cannot move files easily in Folder Panel unless you hover just right
4.Folders tree is duplicated
5.Tabs are terrible, please bring back NEW WINDOW
6.when using ALT+SHift to duplicate folders from desktop Bridge window disappears (this has been a long time issue)
7.CMD+F does not highlight criteria field so you have to click on the field then type .. HUGE ISSUE
8.CMD+F Criteria “second field with “contains” changes to “Does not contain” on its own

Add Star ratings to PDFS + automatically convert raw to jpg for pdf or compress some other way
I share PDFs so client can select the images they want me to edit. I would like them to see the starred once or some other way to indicate that this image from a bunch of similar images is the one Im recommending.
Secondly, i need to export my raws as jpegs, then use those for output. usually the file is too large and then i reduce pdf file size. Is there anyway to make exporting CR2 to PDF take lesser time, be a one step process, allow exporting a small file size? If LRC can do these things let…1 vote
