Tags: synergy between mac and adobe
I want the keywords I use in adobe bridge to look like tags in Finder - Mac Os 10.14
I work with photo archiving and I use Adobe bridge. I send this images to an asset management software. But if I want to find the photos using the Mac, I can't see the metadata I use. They dont appear in the Finder. I'd like see my keywords appear in Finder as Tags. Why not?2 votes -
Bridge 2019: Benutzeroberfläche - Bildhintergrund
Bitte bringen Sie den Schieberegler aus Bridge 2018 mit der Möglichkeit, den Bildschirmhintergrund komplett auf weiß zu ändern zurück, damit man wieder auf weiß retuschierte Bilder ordentlich in der Bridge betrachten und kontrollieren kann. Die grauen Vorschauhintergründe machen dies aktuell unmöglich, so dass die Bridge 2019 für diese Zwecke nicht mehr nutzbar ist.

Share photos online with clients and receive back their rates and comments on Bridge and lightroom
For example, in a wedding photography it would be very useful share a gallery with clients , and grant to them the chance to rate photos and then view on my bridge the classification (and comment) that the clients gave to the photos.

Gewisse Dateien in Bridge ausblenden
Es wäre sinnvoll wenn man in der Ansicht gewisse Dateien Ausblenden könnte. zB. AAE Dateien. Diese werden in LR ja auch nicht angezeigt. Wieso werden diese in Bridge angezeigt?.

Do not erase broken (network-) volume links of favorites without feedback
Sometimes favorites are not reachable because of disconnection of (network-) volumes. These should not be longer erased if they are klicked. In most cases the disconnection is temporarily, so the function of favorites is not canceled in most cases.
Optionally, it should be possible to set in the settings whether, if a favorite is not available, only a warning should appear, if a dialog should be displayed for deletion or if the favorite is automatically deleted.2 votes -
Copy/Move Folder with the same Name is really poorly programmed!
If I have two Folders and both of them has the same Name (each of them are on another Location of course) and I would now centralize the two Folders in ONE Location, then I would move (or copy) the first Folder to the Location where the second Folder is located. So far so good.
But now Bridge Shows me a message like this: "The folder XY already exists. [Fix it automatically], [Replace], [Cancel]"
If the first Folder contains only 1 file and the second Folder lets say 5 files, if I choose "Replace", THE HOLE SECOND FOLDER WITH THE…2 votes -
New version 2019, but still lacking of: Drag & Drop from Outlook
It is still not possible to drag & drop a file Attachement from an E-Mail in Outlook (v2016 and now v2019) into a Bridge window. It's only possible from Outlook to a Windows Explorer window.

Expand/Collapse Folders Inline in Bridge (Like macOS Finder)
I would love to have the ability to expand or collapse folders inline within the Folders panel, similar to how it works in macOS Finder or Windows Explorer. Instead of double-clicking or navigating into a folder, I’d like to click a small arrow next to the folder name and view its contents right in the same view, without leaving the current folder structure.
This would greatly improve navigation speed and workflow, especially when working with large media libraries where I want to preview the contents of multiple subfolders quickly using Bridge’s excellent preview system.

I am beyond frustrated. I've been using Adobe Bridge for years, and I rely heavily on the simple number keys (1–5) to rate thousands of images during my editing process. Suddenly, after an update, I now have to press Cmd + number instead?
Who thought this was a good idea?

Add support for 3D files
With the support of SBSAR , it should also be useful to support 3D files format like glTF, glb, or USD as well as ASD ...
Either for Thumbnail generation but also for preview if possible.

Reset workspace consistency
Bridge should work the same as the other Adobe apps when resetting the workspace. Right now if you have multiple folder windows open Bridge closes them all except the active window when resetting the workspace. This is a real pain if there are multiple windows open, which must be reopened when all the reset should do is put the palettes back where they belong.

RAW & JPEG Sorting
Adobe Bridge should include an automatic RAW & JPEG sorting feature, allowing users to group, separate, or filter files with the same name but different formats. A dedicated toggle should enable users to view RAW+JPEG as a single entry or split them into separate folders automatically. This would streamline workflow for photographers, reducing manual file management and improving efficiency.

Allow users to designate the location where collections are stored. This could have multiple uses. A user who stores photos on a portable hard drive could store the collections on that drive. Bridge on any computer could make the collections automatically available by locating the collections directory on that drive. An alternative would be to designate a cloud location for the collections. This could work for all Bridge preferences. I emphasize collections because they are an extremely important tool for organizing photos.

Default Start Folder - without scripting.
I always want Bridge to start in the same, default folder. There is no setting for this. Scripting is not really a good solution, a preferences setting would be better.
I know about selecting the folder before ending, but do not ALWAYS remember to do that. Why is such a simple, standard thing missing??

Backup of Manual Sorts in Collections
It is absurdly easy to fowl up a Manual Sort order. There should be a warning that attempting to drag one image in the grid view will replace the existing manual sort order. More important there should be a way to backup the existing sort order and a way to restore a prior Manual sort order. This should be fairly straightforward by using and modifying the data in the folder UserSorts.

Cancel opening a Secondary window in Bridge
I would like an option to cancel opening a secondary window in Bridge. As it is I can only"OK" the window to open and then close it. (I'm a klutz on the keyboard and often accidentally open a secondary window which sends me down a one-way path.)
