Bridge 2023 - "Show folders" setting is forgotten
Adobe Bridge 2023 has a newly introduced bug - it forgets the "Show folders" setting.
Before v2023, all versions of Bridge retained this setting - if I unchecked Edit -> Show folders, it remained unchecked on the next start.I always turn off folders to see only the files. If I need a view of what's in a given folder, I look to the directory tree. Simple and effective view of files.
Now, as I restart Bridge, the Edit -> Show folders is always checked!4 votesHi,

every file launches after effects
Since the last update, every file i double click launches after effects for import !
This concerns adobe extensions (psd, ai, ...) and other extensions (pdf, ppt, doc, docx, ...).
Such a pain to see every new update only generates new bugs and no usefull features...4 votes -
Can't type numbers while batch renaming
(on Windows) Selecting few files -> Tools -> Batch rename
In New Filenames section can't write any numbers - they change the star rating and label of the selected files below the window.
In the old Bridge this was working fine, and I would like to avoid having to press Ctrl while normally changing the rating/label.
ALSO: While batch renaming in the Preview section at the bottom, no special characters are displaying (including the allowed ones, like for example &)

Exiting Full Screen can't select or see cursor
When exiting full screen mode, can't see the cursor or select anything in bridge. Need to quit and restart to correct the problem

Can't open some folders
When I'm using Bridge 2023 it won't open a folder shortcut - I have two folders that I've saved shortcuts to on my desktop, but Bridge won't open them unless I navigate all the way back to the actual folder location.

Silent crash when viewing TIF with text layer
Bridge goes down without further notice when entering a directory with TIF file(s), that have a text layer in it. I think it is in the program part that generates thumbnails/previews. It is reproducable in two different installations here. I provide a test file with only 'hello world' in Calibri font. - The problem occurs since the last update 27 days ago. - I have Creative suite, so I don't know if there are other products involved in this. It would be fine to have a solution for this.

Thumbnails for PSD files >1GB do not work
In Adobe Bridge, thumbnail previews do not work for files over 1GB. All the preview shows is the PS icon.
Why is this still a restriction? Can users increase this limit? Thanks.

Crop vertical flipping results does not display on preview (space bar) thumbnail is correct
The crop tool has a rotate and flip option. I used the vertical flip option. The image properly flipped. After clicking on Done the thumbnail properly displays the results, however, when selecting the thumbnail and using the space bar the image is not flipped. (v 13.1) The image displays properly when opened in PS.

Constantly checks web
Every time I launch Bridge (and, it seems, other Adobe CC apps) I get a smallish white dialog box with no information other than a circular blue progress indicator. My guess is that it is checking that it is a registered app.
I was under the impression that it only checked once every couple of months, but this happens with every launch.
In addition my Internet was down the other day and I was unable to launch Adobe apps as a result. This means that I must always be connected to the web to use my Adobe CC apps. This…3 votesHi, this issue was fixed in the last release. Please let us know if this was resolved for you. Thanks.

Can't use Bridge and copy/move files at the same time
I am transferring files off of my computer to a hard drive, and Bridge will not let me use the program while the files are copying/moving. While the copy progress screen is up I can't click on any folders or even scroll. This is a huge bug for me!

Bridge 14.0.3.200 is slow/laggy on OSX
We have been running Bridge for a number of years at our photo studio. Over the past few months, Bridge has been running excessively slow. Tasks like sorting through thumbnails in Essentials view are laggy. Moving from one thumbnail to the next has a delay associated with it. We are running top-of-the-line Mac Studio workstations. We're not sure why the performance of Bridge has suffered recently, but we strongly urge Adobe to kindly look into this matter.

Bridge Beta v14.0.0.57 BUG: no thumbnails for RAW files AND no CameraRaw (Ctrl+R not working, and there's also no CameraRaw in the menus)!!!
It (CameraRaw, Ctrl+R, ...) is not working on Canon CR2 and CR3 files, also not working on simple JPG files too!
The very same is working in "normal" Bridge (v13.0.4.755).2 votesHi,
This issue is fixed with the latest Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) 15.5.1 update.
We would recommend you update and confirm if the issue is resolved.
To update Camera Raw: Go to the Creative Cloud desktop app, click on Update in the left sidebar of the Apps panel, and Check for updates. Then click Update for Camera Raw.

Manual sorting in bridge 2023 (version: 13.0.0.562)
Manual sorting: in bridge, if I drag a group of files to another place, the original order is reversed. So for example if I drag files: 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 4.jpg 5.jpg to another position, the order of these 4 files will change to 5.jpg, 4.jpg, 2.jpg, 1.jpg. I didn't have any problems with Bridge 2022.

Image selection trap
Additionally to my earlier issue here another related one, this is really annoying.
Due to the continued selection of the starting file while switching files (arrow keys) in fullscreen mode, the first (on entering fullscreen mode) and last (after ending fullscreen mode) images stay selected. My intention now is to just switch further between next images, but I find myself in a trap betweeen the 2 aforementioned images.As I wrote:
I always have to deselect the first image, when I just want to do something with the last.
This renders the "switch through files" process unusable.

drag and drop
Drag and drop from computer to hard drive or vice versa used to default copy files. Now it DELETES THEM from the original source. This is a dangerous bug. WHATS GOING ON? IT DIDN'T USED TO WORK LIKE THIS.
