Win 10, Bridge 11.0.2.123 Inconsistent Subfolder Search behaviour
There are two options to search for content: The Search Box in the Header for simple Searches and the Advanced Search. The latter works perfectly fine in terms of Subfolders. Checking the "Include All Subfolders" box will retrieve results from lower in hierarchy folders too. Unchecking the box will limit the Search to just the current folder.
The simpler Search box in the Header has two malfunctions:
1) The Search Box in the Header ignores the latest state of the Checkbox "Include All Subfolders" from the Advanced Search. Its searches will always retrieve results from the current folder and of those, deeper in the hierarchy, which is unexpected.
2) Menu Dropdown near the Header Search Box displays a wrong setting active: "Search in current folder" (while in fact performing a multi-level search). Right now, I see no way to limit the simple search to just the current folder, as claimed on the label.
Steps to reproduce:
Put any files with identical strings in their name in a little folder hierarchy.
Use both GUI-Implementations of Search.
Check the Menu of the Search found in the Header.
Observe the "ticked" state in the "Include ALL Subfolders" checkbox.
