AE 2019 Preset Previews STILL do not play--8 months later
...but I finally see the freeze frames now for the first time since the advent of CC 2019.
Please rectify this: Bridge 2019 has been broken for more than 8 months. To quickly preview presets I have resorted to using Bridge 2018 or applying/undoing.

Thousands of users have this same problem. The small preview movies for the text preset animations do not play anymore. Also, other animated presets like backgrounds and transitions lost their sample movies since around 2017. And even many of the thumbnail pictures are missing.
This creates a huge waste of time for motion graphic designers. It makes Bridge fairly useless.
Many people have been begging Adobe to restore the animated thumbnails for over a year now. There are many threads in online forums about this, including Adobe's. I even spent an hour working to fix it on the phone with Adobe tech support. The person was unaware of it. After I showed them the problem, they agreed it was a huge bug, and they said they would put a high priority on fixing it. Now, even after 2 more Bridge updates, including a month ago, it is still NOT fixed.
I have a iMac Pro, 1 year old, with the latest OS-10.14.6. I have had the full Adobe Creative Cloud subscription for many years. This problem has been around for a long time. It also occurred on my MacBook Pro, and my old MacPro. For me and many other users, the missing preview movies makes Bridge almost useless.
Adobe, please fix this. It is a terrible mark on your image.
