  1. Use osx-finder-tags in Bridge

    I am not the first one, requesting this feature, but i hope to be the last one:
    Please, let us use finder-tags from OSX in >Bridge!
    This would be an essential advantage for (not only) our workgroup.

  2. Remove image from any selected collection, rathen than current collection

    In Bridge an image can be in multiple Collections but there is no way to see which collections an image is in. Also there is no way to remove an image from a collections unless you already know what collection it is in, and you have to open that collection first.

    I would Bridge Collections to have the equivalent Remove from Album feature from Photoshop Elements Organizer, where I can right click an image, and select Remove from Album and then select from the albums that contain that image.

    Can you please leave Color Labels as before? Although it is now consistent with the latest version of MAC OS (Color dots), I really miss the way you could easily see files labeled with the color bar. It is just much easier to spot what you are looking for. Also, Dark Mode would be nice and consistent with some of your other apps like Illustrator and Photoshop 2019. I really don't understand the lack of consistency here... It would be nice to be able…

  4. GIF playback

    Gif playback has never worked smooth in previews in adobe bridge.
    I've been using it for 9 years now and hope this will be finally integrated smoothly in the near future. Thank you.

  5. "Open with…" option

    I would like to request the addition of an "Open with…" whereby I can open a RAW file (say a NEF) in another Raw converter and do the develop / process in this app. Then save say in TIFF and return to the Adobe environment, to continue work on this externally converted file.

    In the case of a NEF I would (in an ideal world) "Open with…" Nikon ViewNXi/ Capture NX-D, do the Raw conversion, then export a TIFF back to Lightroom/ Bridge.

  8. Autofocus anzeigen lassen

    1. Es wäre eine gute Idee, wenn man sich in der Bridge auch die Focuspunkte anzeigen lassen könnte ohne ein Plugin dafür laden zu müssen.
    2. Eine Exportfunktion der Fotos wäre ebenso eine sinnvolle Funktion.

    Similar to showing the filename and extension options for each image in a PDF contact sheet, add the option to include keywords.

  10. Folders need Thumbnails

    Folders need Thumbnails! Its hard to browse folders without a thumbnail for what is actually in the folder! I can't believe you haven't added this feature yet. It's been years! The file explorer has this capability and Bridge should too.

    I want to see a thumbnail preview for a folder rather than a folder icon. That way I can get a sense what is in that folder without having to open it!

  11. Allow for delimiters in shoot date for sub-folder names during upload from camera

    When I upload from memory card, I use Bridge as my program of choice but I notice that delimiters (hyphen or underscores) aren't an option when creating folders by shoot date. When I connect my camera, I use my camera's software, which allows for delimiters. With it, I can choose to have delimiters for both the folder and filenames, neither, or one and not the other. I prefer delimiters for folder names but not for filenames.

    Example: 2018-11-25 vs 20181125

    It would be nice if I could keep the folder names consistent to my preference and not have to manually…

  12. can we have the option of a WHITE cursor!!

    FFS! I spend half my life trying to find a black cursor on a dark background now. Whoever thought that was a good idea!!!

  13. 'Copy Path' directly from Bridge

    In Windows 10 file explorer, you have the chance of copy the full path of a file by clicking "Ctrl + Right-Mouse-Btn" and choosing "Copy full path".

    it would be awesome to have something like that on Bridge, because it broads the range of software you can work better with. I sometimes work with 3d software, webdesign, and/or smaller utilities for video and image, and most of them don't support Bridge's "drag-and-drop", or it simply doesn't fit the workflow (example: webdesign - you do it by code...)

    A "Copy full path" function would help greatly on that, and shouldn't be…

    Be able to see transparency in PNG's and other formats with alpha capability. Right now, the background is black. Checkerboard or some other background.

  15. "Send" Capacity within Bridge to Forward an Image

    I use Bridge to examine visual files to determine their "worthiness" for further processing. I wish, when keying an image, an option would be "Send" (as is found in File Explorer) where i could easily send the image to another for their review/suggestions/input.

  16. Where is the status bar?

    When opening a new folder I can not see anymore if the cache/preview is still working. In the earlier versions there was a status bar at the bottom that had a circle to show that it's still processing.

  18. Metadata template for metadata display

    I'm new at Bridge. Created a metadata template as one of my first actions, then was surprised to find that I could not select that template to choose what the metadata display pane shows. The three-bar menu ought to have "Select Metadata Templates", which would show existing metadata templates with checkboxes. Checking one causes its name to show up as a tab in the metadata display pane, and selecting that tab shows the metadata for that template only.

    A related use of the metadata templates: in the preview pane, it would be nice if one could select a metadata template,…

  19. A workable file/image sharing infrastructure for local networks (small teams)

    Problem:
    Small teams working in local networks share tons of files with each others.
    Its always a pain to use Bridge to find the files, tags, previews, comments, ratings and everything else that makes Bridge such a good thing.

    The usual trick is to have local cache (in each folder), but then everyone on the team has to re-search the shared folders manually and frequently, to discover updated files, tags, ratings, etc.
    Sometimes its slow, other times the files are locked, other times the sharer clears its cache.

    It can become painful when the volume of assets at play goes…
