Make Notes field live
The File Properties has a Notes field which is currently (7/28/22) not accessible for entry. My suggestion is to allow entry into the field. It is not a field which appears in the File Info metadata--apparently it exists only in Bridge--and is useful for general information and actions concerning the image.

ProRes RAW thumbnail preview in Bridge
ProRes RAW files are viewable on the timeline of PPro, but alas they are not so in Bridge. I like to use bridge to sort, catalogue files before editing in other applications, so thumbnails are essential. If ProRes RAW are viewable on the sourtce or monitor panels of PPro, then why not in Bridge? The usage of ProRes RAW will increase exponentially going forward so this is deffinately needed...actually, increasing vide functionality will be required in LR too!

Bridge 2022 is painfully slow to open Thumbnails
I updated now Bridge 2022 is really slow to open thumbnails. Please do not release software that does this to your users. Increase the number QA you or go back to releasing the Beta first to a select group. How do you fix it?

Bridge CS6
Please could you support CS6 ?
I was creating folders - but for some reason was unable to name them (some I could but most I couldn't) On the Adobe Forum it was suggester to do a 'reset. Alt+cmnd on start up. This didn't help and now the whole program is stuck - 'building previews' (for sub folders) . I was a CC user but had to revert to CS because CC was so buggy and slow. A huge forum on this topic - not yet resolved !! https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge-discussions/cs6-e-bridge-slow-to-load-thumbnails-building-criteria/m-p/42786631 vote -

Support the RW2 raw files from the recently released Panasonic LUMIX GH6
RW2 raw files from the recently released Panasonic LUMIX GH6 are not currently supported. Panasonic is recommending the photo editing software SilkyPix, but I would hate to leave Adobe as I am a loyal customer and already know the software. Adobe, please support these files.

Add the AEM Assets’ Smart Tags technology to consumer account Adobe Bridge
Add in Bridge (with Adobe SensAi), the opportunity to add autogenerated metadata keytags embed in XMP files. The exact same way, it's done with the AEM solution (Adobe Experience Manager can do this - See the Adobe link below).
By doing this, you could also improve the AI of Adobe SensAI for images, videos, and files processing by getting mores customers metadata and help Adobe Stock in the same way. And more, add the opportunity to do this with Adobe files also.
Imagine a solution that analyze your text in InDesign and could give some smart tags about your project.…

Sharing Metadata Presets
I would appreciate a way to share my metadata presets with other Bridge users and/or export these presets to different devices if this is not already a feature. Thank you.

Age of sight - camera focusing point visible to Bridge.
I think there is many "old" PS or Bridge users, who has age of sight.
Auto focusing is helping a lot. In cameras (now I use Nikon Z6) I can afterwards check where the focusing point is. But it would help A LOT if this feature is in Bridge, where I pick "useful" pictures.
So, if I nicely ask, would it be possible to develope a feature in Bridge which shows the focusing points - moving from camera?
Thanks, I think Im not the only one who has the same problem :)

Photo Downloader preview order
Preview shows order in chronological order from oldest to the newest. This is useless!!! it used to show the reverse order, but suddenly, since last update it now lists the latest right at the bottom. With a 256GB card, and thousands of images, it takes ages for the images to load in preview, and is an almost impossible workflow. Please restore to reverse chronological order, or provide a way to sort, or select date ranges.

Show Hidden Layers in Previews and Thumbnails
I would love an option to check that will generate both previews and thumbnails including any hidden layers for either InDesign or Illustrator files. For example, if I have a hidden template layer, it will still show that as the preview in Adobe Bridge instead of being blank.

It is advantageous if certain file type mappings e.g. Info.lua or *.aae can be hidden in the preferences.

the batch rename function no longer works properly
I have used batch rename for years to rename my files which includes the original camera-assigned filename. The drop down menu to choose sequence number or original filename no longer works. I have reinstalled Bridge to no effect.

Custom Workflow Batch Rename Not Saving
This is a bug report. When I change the parameters for the Batch Rename in my Workflow Details, it doesn't save it. It reverts to a pre-defined sequence.
The rest of the changed parameters are being saved.1 vote -
batch rename, just more options please
You can do string substitution. You can keep the filename. And you can add a few things. Ok, great. That's useful.
RED camera footage is one good example of footage that makes that not super useful.
Here's an example of a filename. A071C068032298001.R3d.
Do you know how much of that filename is useful? 068. Just the 068.
So what I would want to do is remove the first 6 characters. (that is one of the commands we should have. Search and replace doesn't work if those characters change). I would then remove characters 10-20. Well, I suppose…2 votes
