An error occurred while saving the comment Kukurykus commentedThere is also other irritiating problem about renaming folders hovewer in 'Content' panel, that hasn't occurend yet long time ago in Bridge for Creative Suite 2.
While renaming folder names when pressing tabulator (to activate selection of name for renaming on another folder in row), the name you changed in name of previous folder disappears. When then you change name of another folder it's going to be changed but previous folder goes back to original name.
This doesn't affect files, only folders and I think I know what caused this bug.
In CS2 the folders were after the files. With next version they were moved to beggining.
Whatever makes it's not possible anymore fastly to renames folders without confirming the change by pressing Enter and then activating another one to do the same, please fix it.
Correctly it should work same like with files (or folders from CS2 times), so if you press the tabulator while renaming the previous folder, the new name for that folder should be accepted.

Dear Bridge Users,
Have you tried setting the following Preferences?
Edit Menu→Preferences→Thumbnails→Do Not Process files larger than 1000 MB. Change this to 1 MB.Also, on the right hand side of the folder navigation bar on top, drop down next to the triangle (Option for thumbnail quality and previews) and select “Prefer Embedded (faster)”. Screenshot attached.
Let us know if this helps by commenting on User Voice.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kukurykus commentedJØRGEN JOHANSON I'm not sure you understood the problem we have.
It's not about that ALT switches to menus, however you are right there is bug if after switching back from other application like Photoshop (by ALT TAB) the ALT is still activated.
The main problem what you have not mentioned is that arrows stop working irrespectivelly you unpressed ALT, or in worse case what happens quite often, whole Bridge doesn't respond anymore.
Did you experience such problems?
Kukurykus supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Kukurykus commentedYou probably are saying about Bridge CC 2020 (10.0.0.124), but I still previous one (also in Windows 10), so Bridge CC 2019 (9.1.0.338), where it started and I have the same problem!
It seems this issue is continued with current version as noone reported it yet.
I couldn't find why it happens but I think ALT may have something to do with it. Maybe ALT-TAB, or maybe leaving to Photoshop from Bridge with previously pressed ALT (that activate menus, File, Edit, View etc) to be back to Bridge, or using arrows (after pressing LEFT ALT), what sometimes makes they don't work anymore, however I can click on images with a mouse.
What is odd using CTRL with arrows still works, I mean CTRL and LEFT to undo to previous visited folder(s), or CTRL and UP to go to higher folder in hierarchy.
The only what I can do is to relaunch Bridge, hover often it's not possible as Bridge gets stuck, so I have to force closing Bridge. After opening it doesn't remember its last state.
