accent characters
Bridge display breaks if a directory contains files with special characters in their filenames, including accent marks (common in non-English names!). Bridge will claim that directory has "no items to display." Not only does it not display the images with non-basic characters, it won't display ANY of the images in that directory.
Please fix this bug so that Bridge will not get hung up on special characters in filenames!
(Unfortunately because this is a shared directory linked to a content management system I can't just edit the filenames in the finder to fix this. It is also not possible to…

Bridge 23, The panel on the right for metadata and Keywords only displays info if halfway across screen!
RE. Bridge 23. The panel on the right for metadata and Keywords displays nothing (not even the date a picture was taken) unless I have it extended to 5 inches into the screen! Please FIX this. It never used to have to take up so much of the screen. I don't want the panel taking up so much desktop space just to see the date or size of an image. thanks

progress bar
Why is there no obvious way to see what bridge is currently working on? Give me a simple progress bar to know how long it's going to take a given folder to finish generating previews, please? I know I can just stare at windows task manager, but it seems dumb to not be part of your software.

iCloud Drive not shown
Bug: The iCloud Drive is not shown correctly on Macs. This concerns all macOS and OSX verisons supporting Apple's iCloud Drive. It is a special user folder and found in ~/Library/MobileDocuments, where as ~/Library is a hidden folder. It is possible to drag the iCould Drive into Favourits panel, but the folder is not recognized nor opened in Folder panel for further disk operations done within Bridge such as Move or Copy.

If you change the name to .jpg you can see thumbnail but not if named c4d.
Finder can show thumbnails and Adobe After effect can use the files. Should be supported imo.3 votes -
Photo at the beginning of the pile
When we place a photo at the beginning of a stack, then we make another display with another filter and finally we display the stack in question again with a filter, the chosen photo is no longer at the beginning of the stack. This bug should be fixed.

Fix arrow key navigation of folders in Metadata viewer
Used to be able to accurately move across directories with arrow and modifier keys, now navigation is broken. Moving between directories with the arrow keys either doesn't work for a dozen button presses, or resets several folders to the left when trying to navigate one to the right. Also please make it so the info panel remembers which pane i have open/collapsed instead of starting me in a reset view each time i open the pane.

Add full support of WebP format to Bridge
"File Info..." is grayed out for WebP files. This means that Bridge doesn't support writing metadata to WebP files.
This would be an important feature for me because right now ratings and labels aren't written to the WebP files and therefore don't propagate properly through our studio setting.
WebP has become the de facto new standard on the web and as such should be full supported by Bridge.
At the moment WebP is also missing as an option in Workflow under "Change format". Please add it there.

Fullscreen view has wrong zoom level
In full screen mode all images look blurred and pixelated, even large and high resolution images. That used to be much better. Even images that have the native resolution of the monitor I use (4K), they are not previewed in the exact size when set to 100%. They should perfectly fill the whole monitor, but they are shown larger and zoomed in. This makes them pixelated.

If we're not getting 'new window' back, have the path attach to each browser tab/panel
Getting used to the new interface but it takes a lot of concentration to figure out which panel the path is referring to when you're browsing several locations at the same time (to move stuff between folders, or if you're pulling assets from two+ different places for a project). Just attaching the path to each one would solve this confusion elegantly.

Collapse All Folders
In Windows Explorer, clicking on the down arrow while holding down the CTRL key will collapse that folder and all of its subfolders. This feature has also been implemented in Dreamweaver. It would be helpful to have this feature in Bridge also. Currently, the only way to collapse all folders is to quit and restart Bridge.

Shift+select works half the time
In the 'Content' panel, when selecting multiple images, holding shift only works half the time. It will select the first and last but not the middle images.
When reordering images it jumps back to the beginning of the scroll bar after moving something. Soooooo annoying!!!! Also the images reordering when you move more than 1, what is that?2 votes -
Scripting in Bridge 2023
I'm scripting in Adobe Bridge.
As of 2023, app.document.setPresentationMode("browser", path) no longer works.
app.document.presentationMode now also returns "undefined".
I think this is due to the fact that the display method has changed to Content Tab. Will it be improved?2 votes -
Group by...
It would be great to have a "group by type" option like in mac finder.
I just migrated from MAc to windows and windows explorer "group by type is a mess" i would love to bridge to have a group by type option.
I know that the "filter options"are kinda similar. But for a visual artist like me is not similar at all.

'Duplicate' Option within "Find" Criteria
Along with "Add" and "Delete", it would be great to add a button to "Duplicate" a search criteria item, especially when searching for ranges or series of items. Being able to click one button to do that would save several moments of adding a new criteria item and goign through the dropdowns and re-clicking (or even re-typing) something you already input.

Only one feature works better on Mac, but not in Windows - too many bugs to list
All the problems listed on this page are real - and CRITICAL, Adobe!! The only improvement I find is faster RAW file viewing. Rendering is much faster (only on my MacBook with the M1 chip) - but still not as fast as the very inexpensive Camera Raw Viewer program. The constant crashes, freezes, and other problems listed in this forum have forced me to revert back to the previous version. And then I was unable to process images from Bridge to the updated Photoshop version, so i had to roll that back, as well. These issues have caused a huge…

slow very slow......
this latest update has slowed down the scrolling of images a lot, making the movement of the rows of photos in preview go jerky, also when you select with stars an image, the whole grid moves and you lose the selection point of the photo
