An error occurred while saving the comment Wootie commentedSince updating to 2023, all title bars on panels and main window are stuck at white(light), even in Dark and Darkest Color Theme. It lights up my room at night. This defeats the point of "dark mode".
Please fix. Critical.

Hi,
This feature has been released in Bridge v10.0.
In the Content Panel, there is a check box “Show Tiles” which can be unchecked to remove the Thumbnail boxes.
Thanks,
Teja Vepakomma

Adobe BridgeWootie supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Wootie commentedTotally agree. What a terrible update idea. There are two sets of negative space around thumbnails now. How bout the option for no negative space whatsoever between the thumbnail images. A separate size slider for negative space between the thumbnail panel. Then give the option for NO dark boxes. Who the heck asked for dark boxes? Unbelievable.

...and all these concerns.

Dear Bridge users,
As one of the top voted features, this is actively under development. We plan to provide option to hide the tiles so that you can see larger thumbnails and zoom out if you need to see more assets in Content View. While 9.1 (released) has some improvements, the upcoming Bridge release this year end will have significant improvements in this area. As far as the folder view and Keywords is concerned, we hope to address that next year.
Meanwhile, some of you may benefit from the existing “View Menu→Show Thumbnails Only” to see more assets in Content View.
Thank you for your vote.

Thanks! The control key checkbox solved the issue for me!
An error occurred while saving the comment Wootie commentedSame here. Example if I want to name a folder "20181026_v1" it gives me a new folder named "_v". Woops! Please fix asap. All my folder names start with numbers.

Hi,
This request has been addressed in v10.0 of Bridge released earlier this month.
Please upgrade to see the change.
You have options at the bottom of the content pane to Hide Tiles and Show Thumbnails only. These options will allow you to see larger thumbnails and more content by using the zoom slider.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Regards,
Teja

Hi,
This feature has been released in Bridge v10.0. You can update Bridge to see this feature.
At the bottom of the Content Pane, there is an option to hide Tiles and ‘Show Thumbnails only’. If tiles are hidden, the image backdrop can be changed to pure black from Edit→Preferences→Interface→Image backdrop.
Thank you for your feedback on User Voice.
Regards,
Teja V.
Senior Product Manager, Adobe BridgeAn error occurred while saving the comment Wootie commentedTotally agree with the ratings. Screen real estate has been sacrificed to negative space for readability with this version. I think that is a disfavoured choice. Why is ratings the only manditory Thummbnail Metadata? Please make it optional like the rest.

Dear User,
We have made this change for better readability.
In case you wish to get this changed, please post it as a feature request.
An error occurred while saving the comment Wootie commentedI totally agree. This is NOT better readability when dealing with many items. With the screen real estate more restricted like this we cannot see as many items at once. Also the thumbnail itself is shrunk. My 2 cents is that this is an awful update idea. I will rant over at feature request now.
This is still not fixed.
"...the menu bar and the window's title bar is shining white. I did not find a way to turn these to the theme colors, dark, as it was perfectly ok in the prior version."
